Amazing summer outdoor space for dogs and families!

My family made a stop here for lunch today. 1 dog, 2 kids, and 4 adults.

The menu was great for everyone, vegetarians included. Everything was a great size and really tasty. The pricing was good for the group of us.

It was a beautiful day so we sat outside under sun umbrellas and really enjoyed the beautiful environment.

I'd recommend this venue for any size group on a sunny day, but probably call ahead if it's a cooler day and you need to be inside, where you can enjoy the charm of an old English pub location.

Would I go back?

If you're in the area, and get a chance, choose this venue for a relaxing meal and a drink.

Small but lovely pub, views in the garden at the back are great, staff are really friendly and lovely location in general. Will definitely come back to eat here, as we just turned in for a pint today.

An enjoyable lunch for 6 of us. Good choice of food, well prepared and with little wait from ordering to being served.
Excellent selection of proper beer from Larkins to Harveys. No doubt lager was available for those who prefer it.
Altogether a very pleasant experience.
