Had a fantastic candle making evening with friends . Ollie was an excellent host and made for a fun evening full of laughter and with some wonderful candles as a result. Would highly recommend this workshop and very impressed with the variety of scents we could choose from.

We stumbled across this new cafe on their launch day. What a fantastic place to stop off from walking the north downs way and grab 10 minutes to sit down and enjoy the view with fab tasting coffee and the chocolate brownies were amazing. I love how they have used the barn so if it's a rainy day, you could sit in the dry.

We chose Ollie's candle making workshop for our team building, it was a completely new experience for the whole team. It is located in peaceful area. Ollie was responsive to my all queries and happy to accommodate our group of 6 during lunch hours besides his actual workshop running time. Thank you for the very informative step by step process and being attentive. We all had an amazing time and we can't wait to receive our candles :) - Daikin HR Team.

I love this place! Right in the middle of some countryside walks, it's on the edge of Chantry Woods and is the perfect rustic pit stop. They guy who runs it is brilliant too đ

Really enjoyed our candle workshop with Olly. He taught us how to make our own candles, which was both interesting and fun. It was a lovely way to celebrate a Birthday with friends and Iâd highly recommend. The Golden Fordâs cafe in Chantry wood is also really great - coffee, cakes and lovely atmosphere

Good vibes, amazing style/architecture/theme, good music, quiet so it's perfect for people who would like to go and do some work on their laptops and get some fresh air and a tasty cuppa. Good selection of beverages and pastry to enjoy with. It's a little cozy corner of tranquility. Unless I am around and start chatting or ranting about life. Enjoy your time there!!!

What a nice place! Had the most delicious matcha and cinnamon bun here. Would be a great place to sit and work as itâs got a lovely atmosphere. I like that theyâve got the artwork on the walls too. The lady behind the counter was so lovely too.

Great cafe inside the New House art space. Lots of drink choices and a good selection of pastries/cakes. Relaxed vibes inside, plenty of seating, natural light and the music isnât too loud. Close to the town centre and the station and would be a great place to do a bit of work, write an essay etc. Looking forward to visiting again!

Great coffee with a really nice art vibe. Whether you want a good local coffeehouse, or a fellow creative looking for some downtime and inspiration. Forget big chains, come here instead, so much better.

Rating: 4.8 (384) Price Level:
A delightful independent coffee shop with charm. As well as serving up great coffees, this place had a fantastic selection of Greek sweet and savoury foods, all locally produced and super tasty. The guys behind the counter were welcoming and took the time to explain the different food available. An authentic coffee shop with bags of character. Well worth a visit if you are wondering through Guildford

This is the only cafe I go to during the week. Itâs not too far from my office but if it was closer, I would be getting coffee in the afternoon too. Staff work so hard here and I really love the food. Traditional pastries, savoury and sweet but also fresh paninis if I donât fancy a pastry. I put a 4 star for food, not because of quality, but because I think salads would be a nice addition to the menu. No where in Guildford does it so it could be a big win! Wouldnât even have to be hugely gourmet ones. And maybe smaller pieces of bougatsa as an option too next to large portions like the kataifi but thatâs a minor thing. Thank you for all the nice convos while waiting for food and making everyone feel so welcome. If the food wasnât so good I mightâve had time to take more photos. Also let me use my travel mugs :) Efcharisto!

A lovely, hellenic (Greek) cafĂ© in the heart of Guildford! Dimitris and Nikos are so friendly, kind and treat you like their friend! I ordered a fresco espresso, which is actually what is called FREDDO ESPRESSO, in Hellas (Greece). Tasteful! They also offered me two pieces of greek bougatsađŹđ·â€ïž In store, you can find many traditional products like "petit four", "bougatsa", cakes, etc, but also ice cream for dogs! đ Totally recommend it! Have fun x

One of the best cafe. Such a great service. I been given full info about what sort of cold cafe they do, how they do etc. On the top I have tasted some traditional Greek pastries. Yummy. Truly recommend this place. The service make it most and the café...top. Just to add - popped in 05.11... disappointed

A great place to have a treat breakfast on a Sunday morning! We had a veggie breakfast and a mini breakfast. The 'mini' is pretty substantial. Good table service, and a nice busy atmosphere. A repeat visit was even better! Really consistent good service.
Rating: 5 / 5
We love this place. A hybrid of service (counter, table &/or both) which never disappoints; theyâre quietly attentive. The ingredients are expensive, the portions are generous & the prices are very reasonable. Coffee is exceptional. We just love it all.

So staying in Guildford for a few days. I wanted to try something different other than McDonald's or your standard chain. I found this after searching Google with great reviews, I knew I was expecting high things. Walking in it's a great atmosphere. I order the breakfast baguette with chips. I didn't have to wait too long and the portion size was great and not to much and not too little. There is an outside area with a roof to cover from rain etc. Also, the inside is nice and very well decorated. There is one toilet and it also has baby changing facilities. Overall, I really recommend and worth having a trip too, maybe a short walk from town but well worth it. If I'm back in Guildford, I'll be back.

Pinnock's
Pinnocks, High St, Ripley, Woking GU23 6AF, UK | Coffee Shop P: 01483 222419
Rating: 4.7 (778) Price Level:
What an incredible, yet somewhat accidental find! Pinnocks is the most wonderful little cafe in the heart of Ripley. I wanted only to find a quick cup of coffee but what I found was an exquisite beamed ceiling and slate tiled floor, lovely farmhouse tables, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful foods, perfect for a light lunch. Thereâs the gentle hum of conversation, a fresh produce delivery brought through⊠and what I was offered was not just a cup of coffeeâŠAt risk of sounding like a line from Rowan Atkinson in Love ActuallyâŠ. This is SO much more than a cup of coffee! There are 7 different beans to choose from depending on your âroastâ preference. I chose Ethiopian and received a mug⊠Normally I prefer a cup, (because Iâm a fan of delicate drinking!) but this wasnât a chunky hunk of china. It was plastic and yet it didnât detract from the coffee taste at all. Absolutely delicious! I cannot think of a better place to escape from the rain and enjoy an hour or soâŠI might be coming back for teaâŠ

Lovely food and coffee in a beautiful old building. Upstairs there are sofas. Be aware that the staircase is a bit steep and there are low beams. We have been here a few times and I would recommend their pancakes. The atmosphere is great however if you go in the winter, make sure you wrap up warm as it is a very old building and the heating isnât great. In the summer, they do also have a bit of outdoor space. I would definitely recommend.

In my opinion one of the most underrated places to get a coffee in Surrey. The head barista really knows his coffee and they have a great selection of cakes. I asked for an espresso but was told it would be more like an aeropress/drip style. I was happy with that as I have one at home. I was recommended strength 6 and have to say it was very tasty. For cake, I had the white chocolate, pistachio loaf which again, was very nice. Service was friendly, fast and informative. Canât ask for much more. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place for cyclists to stop for a cup of coffee and a snack, or a full on brunch. Plenty of seats outside and 2 floors inside. There is a place to park bikes outside, too! Plenty of room all in all and no need to book in advance. Wide selection of cakes, pastries, scones and sandwiches, salads, what have you. Absolutely everything was delicious, and I loved your porridge. Thanks a lot, will definitely be back!

Great coffee shop hidden in one of the tranquil narrow path ways of Guildford high Street. Great food served in a very tiny setting which gave us a little bit of a squashed feeling. But in general it was a fantastic experience, gorgeous coffee and a lovely Mother's day treat.

Natter Café
67 St John's St, Farncombe, Godalming GU7 3EH, UK | Coffee Shop P: 01483 421303
Rating: 4.7 (541) Price Level:
I go to Natters for a filter coffee and a cake every day and have done so for many years. The best ''Guest' filter coffee is precision made at the table, the cakes (my favourite are Tiffins) are Vegan. The coffee and all their cakes are excellent. The young staff are friendly, kind and hard working. When it's very busy there can be a delay but it's worth the wait. The best place for coffee in the area.

Superb breakfasts and coffee, we had dirty breakfast fries, half English, pancakes and eggs benedict. Everyone loved their food, really friendly service and great atmosphere. We will be back to try the rest of the menu đ
Rating: 5 / 5
Adorable cafe with inside and outdoor seating. I saw on the menu they do a pre-book afternoon tea as well! The loose leaf jasmine tea was a bit strong, but the pot was a very nice piece and my avocado toast was the delish. They compensated for our group of 6 and we all paid separately very easily!

Had been meaning to visit for a while but this morning saw my first visit. It will not be my last. Excellent filter coffee and Eggs Benedict. Great friendly service. What a perfect way to start a Tuesday!!

The food was amazing and staff were great, they accommodated to my dietary needs without hesitation(which are not the easiest to accommodate to!). The food tasted great and the service was top notch. Not forgetting this cafe makes the best coffee Iâve ever had and the staff are always happy to help if youâre not sure what to choose from the menu. Great experience 10/10

Super friendly staff with a lovely smile. She made an amazing chocolate for me. The afternoon tea set is absolutely worth to try. The chicken sandwiches are delicious and the cheese scone is tasty. Cozy and clean environment.

Stopped here on a charity cycle ride from London to Poole. What an amazing pitstop for 15 minutes. Internally, the cafe is incredibly cosy, with a quintessential English feel to it, in a quiet, bucolic setting. When it comes to cakes, they offer all the classics, and by the taste of the granola bar I ordered, I reckon they have the recipes bang on. I also noticed a wide selection of teas, which I will have to try next time. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area and âgasping for that cuppa!â

Amazing place , amazing staff and I love coming here. Have been there before as well. This time reached after 3 pm so food options were limited . So we tried hot chocolate and scones and loved both. Fruit Scone was really really nice. Next time I will try the cheese scone :)

Rating: 5 / 5
Incredibly tasty baked goods and great variety. Love grabbing a snack here between climbs! Only improvement would be bigger slices of some bakes for the cost.
Rating: 4 / 5
Friendly service. The cakes were delicious, highly recommend the pistachio slice! The 'white hot chocolate' on the other hand tasted merely of boiled milk, topped with cream and marshmallows. The only seating area we could use was right in front of the ladies washroom, which isn't ideal for obvious reasons...and also the constant foot traffic.

Went to grab something to eat based on reviews whilst my car was being serviced. WOW you lucky climbers! I admit I turned up famished but this was genuinely one of the best sandwiches I have had in a cafe ever. I had chicken, bacon and avocado; husband had ploughmans and equally raved. Anyone who works in the area should find this little gem. Thank you
