Lovely little pub serving great food. Very friendly helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. Sunday lunch recommended.
We visited the Fat Ox in Tenterden today, having won a meal for two on a facebook competition.. we would have happily paid for the meal as it was all amazing. We both had the pork belly with crackling, pigs in blankets on the side, one portion was plenty for two to share, and a Biscoff cheesecake for pudding. We both had clean plates and were really impressed. The pub was busy and had a lovely atmosphere.. Landlady Amy and her barmaid Hannah were really friendly and provided fantastic service. Would definitely go back!
Stopped off to break journey. Lovely traditional pub with good range of ales. Friendly service. Outside seating. Beer garden. Dart board. Limited parking. Well maintained establishment.
The food was great with very generous portions. The staff were lovely. My only slightly negative comment was the overpowering smell of bleach which was a bit off putting. If we were in the area again we would certainly return.
Superb food as always, great selection of roasts and rest of the menu and brilliant service from Aimee and team 💕 Highly recommend.
