The Kitchen Table is a community cafe in Tunbridge Wells that is committed to providing a welcoming and supportive space for people of all ages and abilities. I recently visited The Kitchen Table for the first time, and I was very impressed with the cafe and its staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a full English breakfast, which was very nice and filling, cooked to order and accompanied with a refreshing cup of tea. In addition to the varied food and drinks menu, the cafe also offers a variety of activities and events, such as art classes, book clubs, and music nights. These events are a great way to meet new people and get involved in the community. The cafe is a great place to relax, socialise, and enjoy a nice and very reasonably priced meal whilst in the town.
Today enjoyed tasty gluten and dairy free cake made by the lovely Michelle. Gorgeous chocolate pecan brownies yesterday. I volunteer at this lovely cafe and it's hard to resist these lovely cakes, or the extra crispy special order bacon baps🥓😀
The Kitchen table does what it intends to do be a place to chat and thereby look after your mental health. Black coffee is cheap and the soup is always vegan but none of the other food is vegan. There is usually a dairy and gluten free cake. Pea soup pictured
Great local cafe. I didn’t realise that it is actually a mental health charity. The food is good and the two staff that were there were great characters, keep up that relaxed atmosphere. Had a cooked breakfast and will now have a scone as they look really good. It’s a lovely place
