I had the best breakfast here since the beginning of my stay in the UK. I rate the whole experience very good. The service was nice and helpful. We didn't wait long after placing the order. The dishes were wonderful - fresh, tasty, pleasing to the eye and palate. Compliments to the chef. Delicious coffee. I will definitely come back here, even though the queue in front of the entrance is not getting shorter 😄 It's really worth it!

My friend and I came to this place for a quick lunch. We both ordered a bacon and chicken toast and it tastes really good - probably some of the best toasts I’ve ever had in the UK. The breads are perfectly toasted and delicious - definitely a hidden gem. The price is quite reasonable too.

Absolutely adore this place! Me and my partner were so happy we found this during our trip and had become a firm favourite! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is lovely with the roaring fire on a cold November morning. The best eggs we’ve had in the UK, and my other half says the French toast with the honeycomb butter is to die for!

Nice little on the way in Canterbury from Canterbury West station. Very friendly staff and lovely cafe. We had breakfast/brunch and ordered the Rancher and the House Smoked Salmon and Avo with two tea. Very good and different from your normal breakfast offerings. Worth a visit.

Superb restaurant! I really loved it, the food was delicious and the prices really affordable! The quality of service was top-notch, and I'd recommend it to anyone (even with the language barrier, everything went really well). The welcome was really incredible! We'll be back if we get the chance before we leave.

We’re not from the area and wanted somewhere to stop for a quick bite after visiting Blean Nature Reserve. And what a hidden little gem this pub was! The staff were very accommodating and friendly, especially as we hadn’t booked. We ended up all getting a Sunday roast with dessert, and I think it’s the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had! We even had atmospheric piano music playing while we ate. They are super dog friendly, which was a massive bonus for us. The dogs even got their own pigs in blankets. I'm vegetarian and normally hate the veggie roast options, but the vegan wellington was out of this world! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Fantastic meal! One of the best roast dinners I’ve had in years and completely delicious. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating of our muddy dog. The excellent price and live piano was the icing on the cake! Thoroughly recommend.

Come out with The Mini Red Arrows Stunt Team for our monthly meet up and booked the steak night which is the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month and it was amazing. Shared the Tomahawk with one of the team, had the dough balls and 2 desserts and my god it was fantastic. The chimmichurri sauce was to die for, we will be back and with the Seastay team next time 💙

Been a few times and always been really happy with the service, the food and the drinks! I particularly enjoyed the avo-cuddle and the vegan sausage roll. I will certainly be back!

Very friendly spot for a snack before touring Canterbury. To this American tourist it felt very welcoming and part of a local neighborhood instead of a too-busy, in-and-out, grab-and-go place you might find in town. Besides, we discovered Mr. Blobby!

Dropped into this little gem because it was so close to our accommodation. Certainly not disappointed in any way. Staff were brilliant, service was quick and the food was really good. Would recommend.

The sausage were juicy and plump, they burst with flavour in every bite. The egg was cooked as expected, their golden yolks begging to be mopped up with the accompanying toast. If you are an impecunious tourist with a big appetite and an aversion to being treated as a cash cow by businesses who think of you as nothing else but a cash cow, then this is the place for you. This café hasn't changed much since the 1970's, when Ziggy Stardust and the Beano was competing for the attention of British school boys. The full British breakfast with a mug of tea and toast on the side is garanteed to keep you going till Evensong. Sadly you won't be served by Denis the Menace or Minnie Minx, expect instead to be served by staff who are welcoming, efficient and kind.

We had breakfast here twice within 4 days. The service is very good and food was reasonably priced. We tried the Vegan Breakfast, Veggie Breakfast, Meaty Breakfast and and also the Kid’s Breakfast. They creamy mushroom in the veggie option was very tasty and so was the butternut squash stir fry with spinach. We were also impressed by the quality of the croissant which was rich and buttery. Would go back there if we visited the area again.

Really nice and cozy place! Lovely atmosphere and nice staff. Nice desserts, good coffee but to give you five stars you need to make me better hot chocolate next time! But it definitly worth to visit this place.

Gorgeous little cafe and convenience store right by the beach. There's no view of the sea but you don't need it as it's decorated so nicely. Dine inside or out the front and people watch through the window, or get takeaway and sit on the beach (remembering to bring your rubbish back, or home, with you if the bins on the beach are full) - will continue to come back here time and time again! Me and my friends stopped by this lovely restaurant for lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The guy who served was so polite and the environment was so friendly. Cute interior giving out retro vibes.The food was in hearty portions and the cappuccino was out of my expectation! The froth was perfect and airy with the chocolate powder dusted evenly on top. I highly recommend this place if you want something simple but delicious.

I was really impressed with cafe solo. We went there for breakfast and I really couldn't fault the food - I wanted a good fry up and that's exactly what I got. The milkshake here is also some of the best I've had around Canterbury, actually made using ice cream with a dollop of cream on top. The only reason I haven't put 5 stars for the food is because it didn't wow me like my other 5 star reviews, but it was still very decent. The staff were super friendly but gave us the space we wanted to eat together, the space was clean, and we were even surprised with complimentary Turkish delight. Overall, would recommend. They have a small carpark, but there are supermarkets nearby.

My family and I had a lovely breakfast in this cafe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, special shout out to Megan 1.0 for looking after us so beautifully. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of my vegetarian breakfast (which was delicious). So I took this one off the outside seating area :)

Perfect little Cafe if you're in the Wincheap area, fair prices, huge portions, great flexibility on build your own breakfasts. They have an extensive menu and even offer smoothies if you want to counteract the fry up 😋 Polite and efficient staff, overall great experience again!

It’s a cute coffee shop with such a comfortable vibe. I believe how small it is adds to the aesthetic. It even has an upstairs area (mini one). Came in for a couple of mochas with a friend and it was really chill. The mochas were made beautifully, and tasted great. Highly recommend, excited to try the pastries next.

So happy to come across this pleasant little coffee shop in Canterbury. It is set in an ancient, characterful building close to the cathedral. Happily, the owners have resisted the urge to formulate a brightly lit tourist trap and have instead, taken the time to create a coffee shop with a beautiful ambiance, kind staff and quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable and the quality and colour of the cups and plates speaks of an attention to detail and care for their customers. Some nice views from the windows of the beautiful city of Canterbury. A well deserved 5 stars.

Wow, what an awesome cafe! I work just round the corner at the university and have been meaning to try this place for a while. I was not disappointed! The decor and vibe of the place is very welcoming, and the service was impeccable. I ordered the set 2, which was great value for about 8 quid considering it includes tea and toast/bread. Every part of the meal was cooked perfectly and the ingredients are good quality. Sausage was nice and herby too which is just how they should be. Will definitely come again more regularly to support such a well-run establishment with superb food and value.

Lazix has quickly become my favourite place to visit in Canterbury for a cake and a catch up with friends. For five visits I've had quick, friendly service every single time. The menu has a great range of choices, although the chocolate orange cake is so addictively gorgeous that I tend to get that most of the time. It tastes like jaffa cakes turned into a tiered cake and is amazing! The outside seating upstairs on the terrace is also lovely in sunny weather. Highly recommend!

Lovely cafe in the heart of Canterbury. The space inside is not a lot but there is a large covered terrace where it’s very pleasant to enjoy a meal or a drink. The food we ordered was nice, but the waiting time was quite long I would say (half an hour for some eggs). Nice cakes and teas too. I would stop again in a less busy day. Dog friendly.

Although we didn’t get a chance to try the food, the dishes we saw being served looked absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit for a great drink and lively ambiance!
