āIncredible food, lovely staff an overall really comfortable dining experience. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch. My companions had their meals prior, but the staff were happy to offer just the sides and a drink without any fuss. Perfectly situated along the way to Canterbury cathedral and surrounding areas.ā

āFirstly, the owners are so lovely! We stopped by for lunch and were so well looked after and kind of felt like we had just popped round to a friendās house! The food/atmosphere was excellent and versatile - the homemade pizza bread on the sandwich was incredible. You can tell itās a family run establishment with passion and good quality control for what is on offer. A new local spot for us and highly recommend!ā

āGood food and prices, conveniently located close to the city centre. I went to The Beano Cafe for a late morning breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, two slices of toast, a portion of chips and a can of fizzy pop. The cost was only Ā£7.00. The chips were particularly nice, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would recommend this cafe. If you found this review helpful, please click on the heart icon, thanks.ā

āHidden away cafe in Whitstable just behind the beach. We found a shade table at the front and had two English breakfast and tea.We got the tea straight away but waited a while for the breakfasts as I think they were pretty busy. Worth the wait though. The creamy mushrooms were very nice.ā

āReview: This cute coffee shop in Canterbury city centre is a gem! We ordered a flat white and a mocha, along with a blueberry croissant that was honestly the best weāve ever had. The coffee was rich and perfectly balanced, and the pastry was flaky and bursting with flavor. We didnāt notice the rest of the food menu until after we sat down, but it all looked amazingāIām sure itās as delicious as what we tried. The decor is charming and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by if youāre in Canterbury!ā

āTheir cherry pie is the best dessert I have ever had in my entire life and I am not exaggerating that. I passed by this cafe and spotted the cake & pie display through their window. It looked so good that I turned right around and went in and ordered a cappuccino (they did not judge me for ordering one at 4pm, very kind of them) and the glorious cherry lattice pie. I can taste it even now months later as I write this review. I see it in my dreams. It was unlike the syrupy, overly sweet pies that tend to be the norm in America. It was tart and dense and the crust was rich and buttery and soft. It was so beautiful it looked like one of the pies you would see sitting on a windowsill in a childrenās book. I have never written a love letter to a pie before but I am writing one now because that is what this pie inspired in me. After that life-changing slice I got a second one to go, and the box made the journey to the evening church service at the cathedral and on to the train station and all the way back to London as I could not bear the thought of not having a slice of this pie to look forward to, as I sadly must do now. I live in the US so the only solution is to make it myself. I have been looking for a recipe for months but havenāt yet found one that comes close. If you are luckier than me and are in Canterbury or will be in Canterbury soon you should do yourself a favor and try it.ā
