Perfect cozy pub to venture to after a day's walking. We normally go on a Saturday for the pizza and truffle fries. It can get very busy but normally you can grab a table upstairs.

An excellent, quaint pub with a great selection of craft beers and ales! There’s plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, as well as outdoor seating at the front.☀️ This was my first visit, and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent—we had one of the specials, the Italian Sizzler, with the addition of hot honey, which was delicious. We also got halloumi fries, which were hot and fresh, and a small portion of bacon fries, both of which were great.✨ The atmosphere was really welcoming, with plenty of space, friendly people, and even dogs were allowed, which was a nice touch!🥰 The only small issue (which isn’t a major complaint) was that the ordering system, buzzer, and collection point could have been explained a little better by the bar staff. As first-time visitors, we weren’t familiar with the setup, and since it was busy, we felt a bit lost at first. Other than that, it was a brilliant experience. I highly recommend this pub to everyone! 10/10 🧡✨🍕

It belongs to the Old Hall opposite - the two Inns are run as a single business, with superb rooms, food and bars in both.

Had food here. It was so good. Like really really good. I had the pizza and my partner had pie and mash. Portions were fair and the food was really good quality and fresh. No honestly it was, the pizza was amazing I really do recommend checking it out. They do vegan and gluten free options and the staff are really sweet and helpful too. The chips are so tasty. I am still thinking about them 50 minutes later. Dog friendly also.
