Visiting the area and visited this cafe twice in 2 days. Lovely cafe with limited parking as its on an estate but you should be able to park. Friendly staff and really good menu at reasonable prices. I had the double bacon cheese burger and chips the first day. Really nice with large fresh roll and lovely cooked chips, and the sauces are proper HP brown and tomato ketchup. The second day i had the Midi breakfast with toast. Really tasty and good portion sizes, so kept me going all day. My friend had the Midi breakfast also, but added chips. Just wished i lived in the area as this would be my go to cafe. Gets really busy but plenty of seating available and caters for all. Top notch cafe, lovely staff and tasty affordable food.

Really friendly staff.the place is spotless. Love the fact you can change items on the breakfast without any problems the breakfast was very nice but letdown by cheap sausages, parking limited for trucks

Really enjoyed my breakfast here! Friendly staff and clean environment! Brought my food to the table with a smile and it was delicious! Been twice now but if I'm back in the area for work again I'll defently be returning. Also the food was alot cheaper than I thought it would be comparing it to other places I've visited. Bonus! 🤗

This cafe has been serving the Airfield Industrial Estate for a good few years the food is well cooked and affordable and the cafe is clean and tidy with very nice staff

My wife and I had a lovely lunch at The Little Shed during a holiday to the Peak District. We shared the ploughman’s platter, which was very generous and beautifully presented. Everything on the board was yummy, especially the Black Bomber cheese, pork pie and chutney. The soft drinks were also very nice, and service was efficient. Highly recommended.

We booked an afternoon tea here and really enjoyed it. The staff were very attentive, thoughtful and friendly. We were asked about dietary requirements on booking in advance on the phone and the staff were already up to speed having read the booking notes on our arrival, immediately running though the menu highlighting what was suitable for a member of our party (ordering off the main menu) who had a nut allergy. Dog's are not allowed inside but are welcome outside. The afternoon tea was delicious with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. We ended up taking a few of the cakes home!

Great quality food and coffees. Staff were really friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be there. Such a nice experience we ate here 2 days in a row and will be back next time we visit Ashbourne 🥰

Stopped here to grab some breakfast and it was a lovely experience. The cafe was well decorated and cozy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of breakfast options from various toasts to waffles. The coffee was top notch as well and the food tasted as good as it looks. Would recommend trying the waffles with bacon. Will definitely visit again when possible. Free street parking available up to an hour.

Really lovely lunch on the terrace today which would have been 5* if the staff were able to drinks orders and payment at the table rather than having to leave food to go cold and go in to order and pay! But, yes, lovely fresh food, tasty menu, great outdoor space and pleasent staff. Thank you!

Beaumonts of Ashbourne. Straight away, you feel welcome. Staff was very friendly and the new member of the staff was brilliant. Inside and out are beautiful. Lots to choose from A fabulous full English breakfast To Naughty, stunning yummy cakes 🎂 I have to say the sausages are amazing and I can honestly say they are lovely very meaty. I really couldn't fault the food at all. I had water to drink as I don't normally drink anything else apart from an early morning coffee. Again very friendly and was happy serving just water as a drink. People may ask why I mention this as some places are funny about serving water. It came as a surprise to be offered to sit outside or in. From the front door it looks small but once inside, it's stunning. Amazing find. Lovely eclectic cafe with comfortable seating including an outside area (if it looks full it's still worth asking since they have a lot of seating back from the window). Good selection of items on the menus incl breakfast, wraps, panini's so lot to choose from. We had the full monty breakfast and it was huge! Tea came in a pot with hot water and proper cups and saucers which is a lovely touch.

Popped in for a cuppa after a long walk. It was great to sit in the window and watch the world go by - a lovely spot! Darjeeling was excellent, staff very friendly and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

Went into Ashbourne to find somewhere for lunch. We walked past Cheddar Gorge and were instantly drawn in! Everything you could want in a deli! Huge selection of different cheeses, sauces, relish, homemade pastries and a plethora of cakes! My husband went for the New York Deli sandwich and was blown away. Pastrami, sauerkraut, gherkins, rocket and soft bread. Photo doesn’t do it justice as he wanted to delve in straight away. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Ashbourne!

Perfect lunch after a walk in the peaks. Deli sandwiches are ENORMOUS and more importantly very tasty. Amazing variety and value for money.

Nice small bakery/deli close to the centre of Ashbourne. We enjoyed the baked goods so much that we went twice! The first time we had a cappuccino cake and a rum truffle. The second time we had a rocky road and viennese whirl. The shop has a nice selection of products and the service was good the both times we went. We are looking forward to going again when we are next in Ashbourne.

1st visit today . Lovely location and a wonderful walk with dogs along Nutbrook trail / cycle walking trail We joined in Kirk Hallam and walked to Shipley park / cafe area. Check opening times as only open sadly 3 days a week but is open on BH

1st visit today and was lovely. Walked from Kirk Hallam to Shipley park area . Saw cafe and was a great find. Lovely walks in area. Check opening hours before visiting as only open Fri/sat/ Sunday and BH . Gets busy but was lovely . Shame they use disposable cups in these days of being more eco conscious but maybe they can't wash pots in small space . Not the friendliest of staff but location made up for that on this occasion.

Lovely little cafe. I like that you have to wonder through the park to find this place. The cafe building itself is quite small but there is plenty of outdoor seating, most of which is undercover either under a gazebo or an umbrella. We only had coffee's and a scone but both were great and the service was fast. The staff are very welcoming and dogs are welcome too. A hidden gem.

Lovely coffee shop with lots of outdoor seating. Good service with a smile. Delicious roulade and coffee. It's a cafe really walkers and cyclists as you can't really drive to here.

What a delightful find. Gorgeous tapas beautifully cooked and the nicest staff we've encountered for some time. Nothing was too much trouble, even though we had a five-month-old baby with us. Will be going back very soon. Highly recommended.

We were in England as tourists and since I had lived in Spain for some time (not far from Madrid), we decided to visit this restaurant. I ate seafood and my husband had steak. We really liked everything. The steak was excellent quality. I think it was farm meat. And the prices were much lower than in other restaurants in Ashbourne. I recommend it to everyone. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely go back there again.

They were more than happy to help me practice my Spanish! Perfect family atmosphere and now our new favourite restaurant!!

Lovely people! A warm welcome, great atmosphere, and delicious food. Thoughtful in catering for dietary requirements, with a good choice of dishes. Everything arrived beautifully presented, well cooked, and clearly freshly prepared. We were a large group and they did a fantastic job. Very reasonable prices as well. 100% recommend.

Day one of this new cafe and wow! I got the Mediterranean breakfast skillet (pictured) and it was excellent! Coffee is really good here also. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Really looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Popped in for a bite to eat and drink while my car is MOT'd. The cappuccino is out of this world! I would go as far as saying it's the best one I've had in the UK. I also had a bacon sausage and egg cob which was cooked beautifully 👌 Al for £6 pounds!!! Great price. Thank you

We visited Cafe Janet in the morning, and it was such a delightful experience! The atmosphere was absolutely lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and cosy it felt. We ordered two full breakfasts, and they were simply outstanding. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and everything was beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and ensured everything was served quickly and efficiently. If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy a tasty breakfast in a warm and friendly setting, I highly recommend Cafe Janet. This place is a true gem!

I had a coffee, not nice, the water had a strange flavour. the food looked really great though. About £8 for a lunch cob, that's a bread roll, full of very nice ingredients. Dropped a star because of the coffee. Friendly staff who offered our four legged friends biscuits.

Mushrooms in toast was lovely, and the coffee was delicious. Always really good and friendly service whenever we visit.

I can't fault this lovely cafe. The service on a busy afternoon was cheery and really attentive and helpful. Everything we ordered was so delicious, even the the little salad with my ham and egg mayo sandwich. The whisky fruit cake was superb . Top marks for the offer of hot water with my lovely tea. We will definitely visit again and we recommend it highly!

Visually striking place, full of art, light airy feel with great views. We approached the counter each time we needed something rather than staff coming to our table. Although a gentleman (owner?) Talked to us. Not busy on our visit. It's a nice atmosphere, staff seem happy and relaxed, however I felt a little like I was intruding into a family home! Staff personal effects on a table where customers have to pass is wide open to theft (A handbag and a laptop)! I had a lady stand next to me whilst I was eating, making me feel uncomfortable. (Staff family member) Our meal was really nice, bottomless tea is fabulous. Sadly, the cake was quite dry. On street parking for blue badge holders. Not sure if there is a lift for wheelchair users? Great gallery and cafe. We had a wonderful gluten free sandwich and salad. We were full but could not resist taking away a homemade gluten free cake.
