“I came here not long after my wife passed away and wanted to get out of the house. I cannot say how much coming here lifted my mood, the staff were so friendly and compassionate. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is a great way to relax, the views are great as well. Thankyou to all for making me feel so welcome. I'm coming at least once a week now.”

“I love this place. The people are lovely. The feel of a family business, you're supporting local farmer & local produce from the shop & the quality is ridiculously good. The pies. The cakes. The fruit & veg! And dont get me started on the meat... It's been cared for in it's lifetime & if you'd like some advice on cooking your new purchases the butchers are so knowledgeable. And what's more. You can sit eating anything off of the menu or out of the cake display case & watch nature out of the picture window - sometimes there are riding lessons going on - others the horses are rolling around like big dogs in the school - it's like medicine to me this place... a real jewel in the area.”

“Lovely cafe, great view and wonderful food will happily go again. It was father's day so was a busier day but it has a good atmosphere. These good amount of parking with an over spill area. Will be going back on a sunnier day for sure. Nice little wonder around the windmill just outside.”

“We found this cafe by fluke when driving by, it was 11:45 and the pub round the corner was shut, we noticed the sign on side of the road and drove in (lots of free parking) Staff were very polite and friendly and the cafe was very clean and tidy. Sausage score is 10/10 !! I do not give a 10/10 lightly however this was perfection. I would definitely come back to here again. Total price paid for Big Breakfast and regular breakfast along with Latte and hot chocolate was £28.80 WiFi is also available here as well. Bluelight card is not accepted if anyone was wondering.”

“Before grabbing some food, I had a look around the gift shop. I didn’t buy anything, but there were so many lovely things to pick up. Now, let’s talk about the cafe itself. There was plenty of seating to choose from, so I didn’t have to worry about finding a spot. The food and drink menu had a great selection of classic dishes. When I ordered at the counter, I didn’t have to wait long before it arrived. Everything tasted absolutely delicious! I didn’t have a single comment about anything needing improvement.”
