Still by far the best cafe in Chesterfield. My husband and I regularly visit with our baby and sometimes dog and we always feel welcome. The food is creative and excellent quality ingredients. It also stands out for its modern aesthetic and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are always very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Today we were served by Archie who was especially considerate. The specials (French toast) were ACTUALLY special! Can’t recommend highly enough and a great boost for Chesterfield 😄

The best eggs Benedict I've ever had. What a stroke of genius doing it with layered potato rather than bread. We had a wonderful waiter. Service was really quick yet we never felt pressured to leave till we were ready to. We will definitely be returning. Loved the decor. Comfy bench seating.

Nighty Four is a true gem in Chesterfield! The breakfasts here are some of the best we've ever had—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail in the food is impressive, with each dish offering both quality and generous portions. The service is equally exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always eager to make your experience memorable. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Ate there this morning and loved the food. We ordered the veggie breakfast and the chocolate orange French toast (from the specials board) and both were delicious. My daughter really liked the matcha too, which had fresh raspberries added. Great service too from our friendly server. Impressed at being brought glasses of iced water by him as soon as we sat down. My new favourite brunch spot - already planning to go back with my husband next week!

I visited with my friend for coffee and catch up and we were made to feel so welcome. We decided to stay for lunch and the food was tasty and nicely presented. They made my friend’s dog so welcome with treats and fuss, a truly dog friendly place. Although they were very busy when we arrived the tables and chairs were spotless and the team made time to say hello and didn’t rush us with our order. We’ll certainly be back and I would definitely recommend this friendly cafe.

I recently dined at Soresby Street Cafe in Chesterfield. Good food, good atmosphere, and very friendly staff. I will definitely dine at the cafe again wherever I visit Chesterfield.

This was my 1st visit here to this busy coffee house located on the main road through hasland .Fairly decent day so i sat down at one of the 5 tables available outside on the terrace in front of the building,I ended up having to go inside to obtain a menu as none are actually provided on them .There's a very good choice of drinks and a great variety of breakfast ,lighter bites & lunch food options at reasonable prices.Once inside, I did notice & pass the "Wait to be Seated "sign ,obviously for sitting inside dining as i made my way to place a Cappuccino & Gingerbread latte coffee order at counter.The Staff on duty were very pleasant as I also informed them i was sitting outside( no table numbers either ),cash or card payments are accepted Surprisingly the drinks didn't take very long to arrive with excellent table service provided. The breakfasts being served at other tables looked to be very nice so I can fully understand why it's very popular with the locals. I really enjoyed the visit & and I would definitely recommend it here to family & friends. Hopefully, I'll be returning back soon to try a breakfast when I'm next passing by..

We have often seen Masons but never ventured in until 3 weeks ago, how we wished we had done this sooner. We have now been for Saturday breakfast for the last 3 weeks. The staff are lovely, the food is great and it is a lovely place to be. They seem to love dogs and go out of the way to make a fuss of ours. Highly recommend to anyone.

Had Christmas afternoon tea to celebrate daughters birthday. First time visit but wont be the last . Exceptional food and very friendly staff nothing too much trouble . Would highly recommend. Best afternoon tea I have had. Thankyou all

Absolutely love this place so much, we visit very regularly. The food and drinks are always perfect, and the staff are always lovely! Would recommend everything on the menu, (we’ve tried everything haha) the brunch plate is a game changer though 😋

I cannot recommend Host Coffee enough! I had my baby shower at Host and it was the perfect venue. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Not to mention the food!! Delicious. It was great value for money. The staff let us decorate the venue ourselves and they were also happy for us to bring our own cake and cupcakes in. Thank you so much Host!

Always friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Today I took my dog along for the first time and the staff came across with a fresh bowl of water and a treat for him. It was so welcoming; little things like that make such a difference! The food was great too as always.

Little gem in Clay Cross. Been coming here since it opened. Great coffee & great selection of food to suit all tastes. Very friendly staff here too which is why this place works! It does get busy so be prepared to wait at busy times for a table to become free, it doesn’t take long if that’s the case!!

I had lunch here today with my mum and nanna. The staff were friendly and provided great service and generous portions. The café itself was clean, nicely decorated and had a homely feel to it. If you’re in Clay Cross and looking for a cheap, but delicious meal, Poppy’s is the place to be!

Friendly service. Lovely breakfast Can literally build your own breakfast amongst other choices. Bought a couple of the cheesecakes to try too . Would recommend.

Great Service... Nice Coffee... The Gluten Free Brownie was outstanding... Yes to all Coeliacs "its another Brownie" but this was on another level... Not sure if they do anything else GF and that would be nice but this was exactly what i needed... Thanks.

We stopped for a bacon cob and cold drink after a nice long walk along the canal. The cobs were fresh and tasty. We had a friendly welcome and despite it being a bit cloudy it was nice to sit outside by the canal. The bonus is the free car park just over the canal, coming from Kent where free parking is a rarity this was great.

I love this little place and what they bring to the community. Such a friendly cafe and the fire and drink is excellent. They do a great breakfast, too.

Went here as some of our friends recommended it. Very pleasant and the staff very friendly. We only had coffee but it was nice and we enjoyed it. We tend to go for places with a good ambience and this is definitely high up on the list and we felt very comfortable. It does get quite busy but that's good for a local eatery and we would certainly go more often.

We just had coffee and cake today which was delicious as we were too late for cooked food,so we will get there before 2.00 next time.The staff are lovely and the cafe has a nice relaxing atmosphere.Definately recommend a visit

Came here for a coffee after a walk in the cold. Friendly service and very nice latte. (We only ordered drinks so can't comment on the food, although the cake display did look very enticing!) Loved the free treat for the dogs! And appreciate the blankets for customers that are sitting outside.

I visit Koo Coffee Shop in Chesterfield every day, and it’s easily one of the highlights of my routine. No matter the weather—sun, rain or anything in between—the team always delivers service with a genuine smile. The atmosphere is welcoming, the coffee is consistently excellent, and nothing is ever too much trouble for anyone there. It’s clear the staff take real pride in what they do, and that commitment shines through in every visit. A brilliant local spot that gets it right every time.

This place is an absolute gem. The food is home cooked, no bland generic ping food . The staff have time to be really polite and helpful. We meet here every other month and it's consistently amazing.

Great place to stop after a long walk. Don't know about the food as we only had a drink each. But the beer and the gin were nice. The beer garden is small but so far has never been too busy to sit in

We are so lucky to be able to call this out local pub. They are so welcoming, we've just had a baby so havent been in as much as we'd like recently but weve been able to pop in with him a few times in the day after a walk. The beer choice is always fantastic, usually 5 or 6 casks on from Brampton and other regional breweries. And the best bit, the prices, in a time when it's not unusual to be paying £6 a pint moost are around 3. Keep up the great work!

Popped in here after riding past a few time and realising it was a Peak Ales pub. Their Chatsworth Gold is always a nice drink and this one today didn’t disappoint. Friendly welcome and polite service. It’s a traditional local pub without the nonsense of chain ones. It’s worth a stop by

Hadn't been in this pub for a while as it was awful the last time we went in but what a change. We had a lovely evening. What a friendly crowd they have in there. It was a pleasure, and, I have to add some cracking beers. We'll definitely be going again.
