What a lovely hidden gem! We stopped in for takeaway coffee and breakfast, and the experience was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and helpful, bringing everything outside to us with a smile. Both the coffee and sandwiches were prepared within 5–10 minutes and tasted amazing — perfectly fresh and made to order. Thank you very much!

What an absoutle gem of a tearoom. We came here after our sunrise hike and what a stunning breakfast it was. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. I have a gluten allergy and there was so many options to choose from! Personally I went for the eggs and gluten free toast! Perfect find!

Warm welcome and beautiful cake! Was busy when we called, and since we only wanted tea and cake we were seated in the upstairs lounge. We were the only ones in there so no atmostphere as such, but the kady serving us was very friendly. Cranberry, clementine and pistachio slice was delicious.

What a little gem this place is! We popped in for lunch yesterday with our dog, to be immediately greeted with a very warm welcome. The service was friendly throughout and food was excellent. We loved the very dog-friendly theme too! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting the Castleton area, and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

I had a full English there with my toddler, and the food is delicious. Coffee taste fresh and brewed to perfection. The staff are really friendly and attentive, made me feel really welcome. Toilets are nice and clean. This is probably one of the nicest cafe atmospheres in Castleton, definitely a must-visit when you come to the area.

We had a lovely lunch with our two young daughters. The cafe is elegant and welcoming, staff are friendly and efficient. Great menu selection at very reasonable prices and we all enjoyed our meal. One of my daughters says: "My bun was plump and squishy, my bacon was tender and juicy, my milkshake was creamy and delightful and the drizzle was superb. Overall I loved my meal!"

Visited here for a full English breakfast ahead of my planned walk. The food and service was exceptional, even managed to get back in time for a piece of Bakewell Tart and custard after the walk, much needed! The smiley face on my coffee was a great touch! Thank you Sharon for the great service(on both occasions), not just me but the interaction with all customers I saw whilst I was there.

We had Egg Sandwich with Mayonnaise & Jacket Potato with Tuna. The food is really mouthwatering. The potion is really good with the price. We also happy with the price. the staffs are really nice

Had breakfast with a friend as a catch up. The full English was so tasty and a large portion. The pork sausage was one of the best I've tasted. The only negative point of the breakfast was the scrambled egg - over done and rubbery, but the rest of the breakfast was so good. Flat white was good too. Would definitely be back again (hopefully better eggs next time)

Very nice cafe, friendly staffs and yummy food with reasonable price. They sell home made cakes and pastry.

The food was excellent, (an amazing range of options for such a small operation) and prepared with real care. Excellent provision for gluten-free (cross-contamination caution). Staff and service was warm and accommodating. A wall display of superb photographs shows the stunning local scenery at its best (and are for sale). We were able to reserve tables. If we lived nearer we'd be regulars.

We actually came with zero expectations, just because we were super tired from the trails and wanted to eat somewhere. We both got the Asian burger and it was fantastic. Absolutely exceeded our expectations and definitely would be eating here if we were in the area again!

Warm and welcoming. My coffee was delicious. Cosy atmosphere by the fire with some choice of games that my youngest really enjoyed. Just what we needed after a long journey in the car.

Cute little cafe in Castleton. I had the Avocado mash on muffin which was delicious. Also had a good strong cup of flat white to go with it. Service was quick, waiters were very friendly. Food was decently priced.

This is a friendly cosy cafe with a nice outdoor seating area as well. We had delicious avocado on sourdough, and BLTs with fries, on a cold windy day. It was like a haven to be honest. There are excellent cakes and even beer on tap. We saw some other people having a sharing platter of soft yolk scotch eggs and cheeses which looked absolutely delicious. Great place for a first date I’d say!

We travelled to the Peak District today to climb Mam Tor at sunrise and visited Rose Cottage following the descent. We called prior to our arrival to check dogs were allowed - not being from the area. We were given a warm welcome and staff were super attentive and friendly! Breakfast was 10/10! Would highly recommend to tourists! Have attached photos although we are fussy eaters so had several items removed from our dishes (of which the team were also very accommodating of).

After a lovely hike from Mam Tor, we came across this cafe tucked away from the main street, such a picturesque and serene spot. We stopped in for a tea break .The teas were lovely, and we also tried their special of the day, the Angus beef sandwich, which was absolutely exceptional. The quality was excellent and well worth the price. The person at the counter was incredibly sweet and welcoming.Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for a cosy, feel-good stop.

Today we tried out dolly’s as we were in the area. I tried the cheese and tomato quiche, it was spot on. Probably one of the best quiches I have had, homemade and served with crisps and salad. Definitely recommend trying this place if you’re in the area🙂I have attached the menu so you can see what other foods they do.

Nice little cafe we found after our Mam’Tor hike, very welcoming, large portions and tasty food. The quiche was out of this world! All little home baked desserts. Accepts dogs too!

Lovely tea rooms on the way round to Peak Cavern in a pedestrianised area by the steam. Nice outside seating area. Inside is very clean and light. Good selection of cakes and pastries. We had a beef burger and a lamb burger, both delicious, big plates at reasonable prices. Polite and helpful staff.

Caught up with friends over a bit of lunch. First of all, it does look small at the front (we weren't even sure it was open) but after the gift shop, it does open out a little and is dog friendly. Although, it seems most places are in castleton! The selection of cakes was awesome, I had the scone and cream, one friend had waffle and the other had the Scottish broth. All of us confirmed our corresponding foods was great. Service was really swift and polite. Would come back again!

Lovely little gem of a place. Welcoming and friendly staff. We just had hot drinks but they all tasted and presented beautifully. Next time we will be trying one of the tempting cakes

Stopped by for afternoon tea. The scone was nice (with the usual clotted cream). The tea was very nice. Prices were very reasonable. Service was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A nice choice of delicious looking cakes on offer as well. A little gift shop section inside the tea room also.

Really lovely tearoom, the food was delicious. Lovely home made scones, tomato pesto and mozzarella panini was very tasty with delicious home made coleslaw. I had the Black Forrest hot chocolate which was one of the nicest hot chocolates I've ever tasted. Friendly staff, very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Mid hike lunch stop with my son. The food was really decent, the coffee was good too. And it’s in such a convenient place. Absolutely worth a stop for lunch, brekkie, coffee or cake!

Had some 🍵 tea and hot chocolate. Nice arrangements for the teapot. We got a whole pot so easy to share for 3 people at a time. But not a great fan of the taste to be honest. Hot chocolate was good and price was reasonable too. No tissue on the table!! Spilled tea while pouring and had a hard time wiping it out.
