“Thank you, thank you, thank you. We visited this place for the first time today. It was good to see Derbyshire oatcakes on the menu which proved to be very tasty. The toasty sandwich was also good and well presented. The prices were reasonable and the service excellent especially as after leaving I discovered that my car had a flat tyre I think some of the pot holes on the country roads had finally claimed a victim lol so imagine my absolute joy that the cafe had a tyre pump which they readily leant me so I could pump in enough air to get back to my holiday accommodation. It’s things like that which make all the difference - friendly and helpful people- I can’t thank you enough I owe you a pint or something. Will definitely be in again next time I’m in Longnor this year. Alan.”

“Lovely place to have a spot of tea/coffee and a scone. The Scones were delicious and are hand made by the owners mum. Very light and fluffy. Coffee and tea both very good. Also, on a Sunday they are open later then most that shut around 4pm, which is why we luckily found this one. Staff lovely and friendly, very recommended!”

“From the first time I visited I loved the place. I know of very few people who put this much passion and effort into coffee, and visiting coffee shops is my favourite pastime! Generally a new one every week. That first visit was nearly 3 years ago and I've been regularly ever since. Each and every time the coffee and service has been second to none. A true gem of a place for all coffee obsessives like myself! Can't help but mention a certain other review on here. Suffice to say I don't recognise the shop or the person it talks about. In upwards and 30 visits I've never witnessed anything like it. I'd suggest anyone reading it look at the reviewers other content. He seems to have a talent for receiving complaint worthy service. If I was moved to leave more 3 star or less reviews (29 out of 43 he's posted) I would be looking inwards for reasons not outwards. I also have to wonder why, if as you put it, "caffeine is caffeine" you are seeking out the most speciality coffee shop you can find, to then complain about the price tag. There is an invention specifically for people who beleive this, and that invention is Camp Coffee.”

“Popped in for a snack/brunch both of us had sausage cobs and tea, both hit the spot beautifully. Not much room to eat in but we were lucky. While we were eating there was a steady stream of mostly locals and we saw a diverse selection of things chosen. I feel its always a good sign when the locals clearly go in regularly. Large choice of delicious looking food freshly cooked. Shame we don't live nearer or id be a regular too.”

“Fab little place in a lovely spot. Wanted somewhere different today while out on my bike & Cobbles Cafe was perfect. Delicious, quality food provided by two lovely ladies. I sat outside enjoying the views. The parking is free, on sloping cobbles which are no problem. There are free public toilets next door which is a bonus. If you know the Olde Smithy at Monyash, this is 10 mins up the road - give it a try. 🥰😋”

“We visited Charlotte's chocolatier for ice cream and was very happy with the selection on offer. The price was fair and I was happy with the service we received. The chocolates behind the counter all looked amazing and would have liked to have stayed for chocolates and coffee, but sadly, we had other things to do.”

“Had breakfast with a friend as a catch up. The full English was so tasty and a large portion. The pork sausage was one of the best I've tasted. The only negative point of the breakfast was the scrambled egg - over done and rubbery, but the rest of the breakfast was so good. Flat white was good too. Would definitely be back again (hopefully better eggs next time)”
