Best place in Hartington to get a quick drink, breakfast, lunch, sweet snack or do a little shopping. Previously only getting some products and gifts from farm shop, this time we stopped for breakfast (full English) and coffee. Mocha was really nice and served very quickly. We had t wait for breakfast but it wasn't more than 15 minutes. The breakfast was very tasty and the portion was definitely too big for me. The menu is decent, including the menu for kids, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Great cake display on the counter and very good prices (next time I'll try some of the cake). The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is converted farm, with lots of space. The shop is situated in front, the cafe in the back with plenty of tables. Local artists pictures are on the walls (for sale) which gives more character, the place is clean. What's also worth mentioning is that the farm shop won some awards and they source ingredients from local farms.

Lovely tea rooms in a very attractive location and building. They have their own car park which is free (be careful to use the right one as there's a chargeable car park next to it!). Really friendly welcome and helpful service. Food and drink was excellent and reasonably priced. One of the best and most generous sausage sandwiches I've ever had - delicious!!

I got a tipoff from a shopkeeper in Hartington that rather than paying for the NP carpark, I could grab tea and cakes from the tearoom and park for free - sure enough there's a sign saying 'spend a penny with me and park for free'! I got a takeaway cup of tea for my thermos and set off along the Manifold Trail, assured that I was welcome to park as long as I liked. Three hours of walking later I rewarded myself with a lovely slice of Banana and Pistachio cake, and a hot chocolate (made in a machine but perfectly passable). There's a small giftshop with postcards and local crafts which is worth perusing too. Service was friendly, and it strikes me as a great deal to be able to park for free in exchange for a drink and snack that I probably would have got anyway!

Lovely surprise. Came across this place by chance. A very warm welcome and the quality and size of the food exceeded expectations. Proper produce, would highly recommend for a stop off after a walk.

Super café with a free car park. It also has a vast outdoor seating area with picnic benches. Toilets available in the adjacent Manifold Valley Visitor Centre.

We visited Charlotte's chocolatier for ice cream and was very happy with the selection on offer. The price was fair and I was happy with the service we received. The chocolates behind the counter all looked amazing and would have liked to have stayed for chocolates and coffee, but sadly, we had other things to do.

Stopped in to Castleton on our way back from Mam Tor, and found this lovely little spot for lunch. Great menu, very friendly and polite staff and just the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat and a much needed refuel! Coffees were hot (none of this lukewarm, pretty foam art nonsense thankfully!) and very good beans, baguettes were huge and stuffed with filling, and the hand cut, home made chips were exceptional! Definitely give this place a try if you're heading through or staying in Castleton

We actually came with zero expectations, just because we were super tired from the trails and wanted to eat somewhere. We both got the Asian burger and it was fantastic. Absolutely exceeded our expectations and definitely would be eating here if we were in the area again!

Very nice cafe, friendly staffs and yummy food with reasonable price. They sell home made cakes and pastry.

The food was excellent, (an amazing range of options for such a small operation) and prepared with real care. Excellent provision for gluten-free (cross-contamination caution). Staff and service was warm and accommodating. A wall display of superb photographs shows the stunning local scenery at its best (and are for sale). We were able to reserve tables. If we lived nearer we'd be regulars.

Excellent food, friendly and professional staff. The premises have wonderful views of the pennines(when it's not foggy). Due to its reputation, the Peak View Tea Room is often full, so it's best to book a table in advance. Walkers are also welcome, and takeaways can be purchased here. It has a fair-sized carpark, but these can fill up quickly during its busiest times. Be advised that the tea room is closed from Monday to Wednesday but will be open during the Christmas holidays, including the big day itself.

Perfect Pit Stop with a View – Great Food & Even Better Service! Me and my partner stopped off at Peak View Tea Rooms on our drive from Sheffield to Manchester, and it was honestly the highlight of the journey. The place is super clean, cosy, and the views are just stunning – a proper peaceful spot to take a break. The food was brilliant. My partner had a massive jacket potato with a generous salad on the side – proper good portion. I went for the panini, which came with a nicely garnished salad and some of the tastiest chips I’ve had in a long time. Everything was fresh, well presented, and full of flavour. The staff were lovely too – really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be stopping here again next time we’re passing through!

Came for the Christmas dinners BRILLIANT Came with a friend who’s been loads of times before and I’m so glad he took me this place Gail is SO friendly and her staff are too!! Will be returning!!!

Nipped in after a walk. Coffee are nice, sausage and bacon sandwich was delicious. Cakes where lovely too.

Casual. Nice and unpretentious cafe on the grounds of Thornbridge. The food is locally sourced (some from the estate itself) and nicely prepared. The name is derived from the fountain outside which is filled with rubber ducks for the children to enjoy. You can also get some of the famous Thornbridge Brewery products. We had scones and coffee and it was a delight. I think my favorite thing was the large number of very cute children running around in the fountain pool.

nice cafe! only got a water from here, but a really cosy environment. ice cream van out the back was a bit of a ripoff though!

Amazing place. We stopped there on our way home and so happy we did. The staff were the kindest ever. My daughters made a mess but all of them were with a smile and saying dont worry we ll take care of it. Moreover, one of the staff asked us if we wanted a family photo, thas was so kind of him. The place was full, wish it was a bit bigger. The outside was amazing as well, will definitely try to come back during summer as well. A must visit cafe

Great little tea room.. The food was tasty and well priced. The staff were fantastic....so helpful and friendly....definitely recommend... They do takeaway too....Great for hikers and cyclists.

Fabulous tea room in such a cosy place. We went on a Saturday so it was pretty busy, we got some ice cream first which was delightful and then moved onto a Bakewell cake, coffee, hot chocolate and a cheese and pesto panini. As we turned up just after 3pm, they stopped serving hot food, however, they accommodated to us as we wanted a panini and the press was still on which was so lovely of them. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful. The staff were really accommodating and kind. There were little candles and honey/ gift bits which was a nice touch.

Such a cute shop I found in Hartington village in Peak District. Which is located exactly in the centre of the village. Best teas and coffees Homemade cakes and sandwiches can try here. We just walked around the shops and enjoyed the sunset.

A little gem...great service, great food and coffee. Well worth dropping in for a cuppa and food after a morning out in the hills.

Fab little place in a lovely spot. Wanted somewhere different today while out on my bike & Cobbles Cafe was perfect. Delicious, quality food provided by two lovely ladies. I sat outside enjoying the views. The parking is free, on sloping cobbles which are no problem. There are free public toilets next door which is a bonus. If you know the Olde Smithy at Monyash, this is 10 mins up the road - give it a try. 🥰😋

Great little Cafe in Longnor, on the edge of North Staffordshire, in the Peak District. Superb Ham, Egg & Chips & Oatcakes filled with sausage, bacon & cheese. Ample parking outside. Great value too. 👍🏻. Perfect mid day pit stop. 😊

I'm always guilty of going for name brands for my coffee. Decided for the first to go here. I was not disappointed. Lovely coffee and tasty toasted sandwich. Staff are very friendly. Obviously popular with the locals. So in future I will be supporting smaller businesses.
