Went into Ashbourne to find somewhere for lunch. We walked past Cheddar Gorge and were instantly drawn in! Everything you could want in a deli! Huge selection of different cheeses, sauces, relish, homemade pastries and a plethora of cakes! My husband went for the New York Deli sandwich and was blown away. Pastrami, sauerkraut, gherkins, rocket and soft bread. Photo doesn’t do it justice as he wanted to delve in straight away. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Ashbourne!

Nice small bakery/deli close to the centre of Ashbourne. We enjoyed the baked goods so much that we went twice! The first time we had a cappuccino cake and a rum truffle. The second time we had a rocky road and viennese whirl. The shop has a nice selection of products and the service was good the both times we went. We are looking forward to going again when we are next in Ashbourne.

Perfect lunch after a walk in the peaks. Deli sandwiches are ENORMOUS and more importantly very tasty. Amazing variety and value for money.

Really enjoyed my breakfast here! Friendly staff and clean environment! Brought my food to the table with a smile and it was delicious! Been twice now but if I'm back in the area for work again I'll defently be returning. Also the food was alot cheaper than I thought it would be comparing it to other places I've visited. Bonus! 🤗

Visiting the area and visited this cafe twice in 2 days. Lovely cafe with limited parking as its on an estate but you should be able to park. Friendly staff and really good menu at reasonable prices. I had the double bacon cheese burger and chips the first day. Really nice with large fresh roll and lovely cooked chips, and the sauces are proper HP brown and tomato ketchup. The second day i had the Midi breakfast with toast. Really tasty and good portion sizes, so kept me going all day. My friend had the Midi breakfast also, but added chips. Just wished i lived in the area as this would be my go to cafe. Gets really busy but plenty of seating available and caters for all. Top notch cafe, lovely staff and tasty affordable food.

This cafe has been serving the Airfield Industrial Estate for a good few years the food is well cooked and affordable and the cafe is clean and tidy with very nice staff

Clean, friendly staff and cheap. Had a lovely breakfast roll which was served very quickly. There's also customer toilets available which is great. There are some parking spaces in front of the cafe though they may be limited when it's busy.

What a delightful find. Gorgeous tapas beautifully cooked and the nicest staff we've encountered for some time. Nothing was too much trouble, even though we had a five-month-old baby with us. Will be going back very soon. Highly recommended.

Lovely people! A warm welcome, great atmosphere, and delicious food. Thoughtful in catering for dietary requirements, with a good choice of dishes. Everything arrived beautifully presented, well cooked, and clearly freshly prepared. We were a large group and they did a fantastic job. Very reasonable prices as well. 100% recommend.

A Taste of Spain in the Heart of Ashbourne! 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸 Tapas Madrid is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, relaxed atmosphere and the unmistakable aroma of authentic Spanish cooking. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with love and care. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they’re serving. They were more than happy to help me practice my Spanish! Perfect family atmosphere and now our new favourite restaurant!!

7 of us had family meal. All food was delicious and freshly cooked.

Exceptional experience. This was our first ever visit with our 4 legged friend and the welcome could not have been any more warmer. The servers were chatty, polite and ready to explain anything and everything about their menu. I had my first taste of a rice crispie chicken burger and all I can say is wow! You must try to appreciate it. Hot chocolate and coffee we would go as far the say the BEST in Derbyshire. We can’t wait to return.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. Shakshuka and pancakes were filling and tasty. Fab coffee and we are coming back for margaritas later 😜. You should come here. It is fabulous. Luke looked after us very well 👍🏻

Lovely cafe, visited whilst in the area for my Hen party. Had booked a table for 6, order at the counter and food and drinks came very quickly. Recommend the mango and passion fruit pancakes. Food presented very well and I think the prices are fair.

Really nice breakfast spot with a great selection on the menu. The decor and ambiance is also really nice and works perfectly. The dishes are nicely presented and the drinks and coffee options are also good. I had the eggs benedict but would have preferred the eggs to be slightly more cooked as the whites were a little runny but still edible (poached eggs aren't the easiest) and I think a tad more bacon too as it was quite slim. Others in my group had a full English and the bacon and chicken pancakes which they enjoyed. We also tried the special brew of coffees which was a nice experience. Overall really good place and would consider revisiting if in the area.

1st visit today and was lovely. Walked from Kirk Hallam to Shipley park area . Saw cafe and was a great find. Lovely walks in area. Check opening hours before visiting as only open Fri/sat/ Sunday and BH . Gets busy but was lovely . Shame they use disposable cups in these days of being more eco conscious but maybe they can't wash pots in small space . Not the friendliest of staff but location made up for that on this occasion.

What a gem of a coffee shop! This little family owned spot is an absolute delight. The coffee beans are top-notch, rich and full of flavor, and thier latte syrups add the perfect touch of sweetness without being overpowering. The panini was perfectly toasted and the cake OH MY SO DELICIOUS. The service was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The shop itself was spotless and had such a welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that a lot of love and care goes into every detail. If you're looking for a cozy place with amazing coffee and food, this is it! Highly recommend 🍰☕️🌟🌟

Lovely coffee shop with lots of outdoor seating. Good service with a smile. Delicious roulade and coffee. It's a cafe really walkers and cyclists as you can't really drive to here.

Lovely little cafe. I like that you have to wonder through the park to find this place. The cafe building itself is quite small but there is plenty of outdoor seating, most of which is undercover either under a gazebo or an umbrella. We only had coffee's and a scone but both were great and the service was fast. The staff are very welcoming and dogs are welcome too. A hidden gem.

We called in today for brunch and had the most tasty toasties (we choose the 3 cheeses one and the cajun chicken, both were great). We also had the berries waffle and the Walnut cake. So so good. Really recommend this place if you are in the area

My wife and I had a lovely lunch at The Little Shed during a holiday to the Peak District. We shared the ploughman’s platter, which was very generous and beautifully presented. Everything on the board was yummy, especially the Black Bomber cheese, pork pie and chutney. The soft drinks were also very nice, and service was efficient. Highly recommended.

Stopped here to grab some breakfast and it was a lovely experience. The cafe was well decorated and cozy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of breakfast options from various toasts to waffles. The coffee was top notch as well and the food tasted as good as it looks. Would recommend trying the waffles with bacon. Will definitely visit again when possible. Free street parking available up to an hour.

Treated my husband to a birthday lunch here today. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff who directed us to the cafe upstairs. The seating area is bigger than expected, with beautiful works of art all around. The menu is great. My husband had the avocado on toast with poached eggs and he added on bacon - he really enjoyed it. I had probably the best salad I've ever eaten! It had figs, goats cheese, crushed hazelnuts, quinoa, sweet drop peppers, a delicious dressing and I paid a little extra for Serrano ham too - I'd definitely recommend it. The lady serving us was polite and non intrusive; giving us plenty of time to decide what we'd like to order. We will most certainly be back again and I can see this being somewhere we visit regularly now we know about it...a hidden gem!

Visually striking place, full of art, light airy feel with great views. We approached the counter each time we needed something rather than staff coming to our table. Although a gentleman (owner?) Talked to us. Not busy on our visit. It's a nice atmosphere, staff seem happy and relaxed, however I felt a little like I was intruding into a family home! Staff personal effects on a table where customers have to pass is wide open to theft (A handbag and a laptop)! I had a lady stand next to me whilst I was eating, making me feel uncomfortable. (Staff family member) Our meal was really nice, bottomless tea is fabulous. Sadly, the cake was quite dry. On street parking for blue badge holders. Not sure if there is a lift for wheelchair users? Thank you.

Great gallery and cafe. We had a wonderful gluten free sandwich and salad. We were full but could not resist taking away a homemade gluten free cake.

I had a coffee, not nice, the water had a strange flavour. the food looked really great though. About £8 for a lunch cob, that's a bread roll, full of very nice ingredients. Dropped a star because of the coffee. Friendly staff who offered our four legged friends biscuits.

Popped in for a bite to eat and drink while my car is MOT'd. The cappuccino is out of this world! I would go as far as saying it's the best one I've had in the UK. I also had a bacon sausage and egg cob which was cooked beautifully 👌 Al for £6 pounds!!! Great price. Thank you

Day one of this new cafe and wow! I got the Mediterranean breakfast skillet (pictured) and it was excellent! Coffee is really good here also. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Really looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Popped in for a cuppa after a long walk. It was great to sit in the window and watch the world go by - a lovely spot! Darjeeling was excellent, staff very friendly and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

Great decor, quirky fittings, some great photos and posters. Did not eat, so cannot comment on the food. Bubbly bar girls. Good view of passing world outside. Nice Hells Lager, but for some reason it took 10 minutes to serve 2 pints to our table, with no other customers..

Really lovely lunch on the terrace today which would have been 5* if the staff were able to drinks orders and payment at the table rather than having to leave food to go cold and go in to order and pay! But, yes, lovely fresh food, tasty menu, great outdoor space and pleasent staff. Thank you!

Amazing find. Lovely eclectic cafe with comfortable seating including an outside area (if it looks full it's still worth asking since they have a lot of seating back from the window). Good selection of items on the menus incl breakfast, wraps, panini's so lot to choose from. We had the full monty breakfast and it was huge! Tea came in a pot with hot water and proper cups and saucers which is a lovely touch.
