We had a wonderful family Christmas meal at Rems this year. The food was delicious, each dish packed with festive flavors and beautifully presented. Our meals were served promptly, and the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their professionalism added a special touch to our evening. The atmosphere at Rems was cozy, creating the perfect setting for a family gathering. The overall vibe was relaxed and joyful. The Christmas set menu was really reasonably priced and there was so much food, it was definitely worth every penny! Overall, our Christmas meal at Rems was a fantastic experience. We left with full bellies, happy hearts, and cherished memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a festive dining experience!
Took my mum for her birthday and loved it. Was impressed when Owner/ Chef and staff chatted so casually and informally, was lovely having people communicating on a level, not like staff vs. customer... Food was wonderful with good portions, and decent selection. Good atmosphere. I enjoyed the random quiz/ facts tv that chugged along too. Good selection of drinks, including 3 alcohol free options.
Great friendly place, book for table of 18. Food served quickly, was piping hot and tasty. Had a vegan and vegetarian so they made a couple extra dishes of Wellington and stew, as the set menu was 50% meat. All the food I tried was lovely and the staff very helpful. Would recommend.
Superb Bar and Restaurant. Best of both worlds. As a Coeliac it's often difficult to find good beer and food options, but here is perfect for me. Friendly staff too. Perfect.
My son and I went in for a few drinks over our weekend stay. Landlord tries hard to make you feel welcome, and has created a nice atmosphere; everyone is friendly. A great spread of age groups, and the general feel is happy. We'd like to thank Gareth for helping us to enjoy our experience in Chapel. He even made us feel better after being treated not so well in another pub. We'd both definitely recommend it. They even have their own very nice lager 🍺 David & Louis
