My partner and I popped in on a whim when we were visiting London. We both got cuts from Xavier and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. He took great care in understanding what we wanted, and was really thoughtful about checking in along the way and making suggestions based on his expertise. We also really enjoyed the conversations we had with him during the cuts, and he even gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our stay in London. Beautiful salon, friendly staff, and the Diptyque hair perfume at the end was such a nice touch. Thank you Xavier for the wonderful cuts and styles!

I’ve been going to George Northwood in Shoreditch since it opened and have always been so happy with the services. Yezi cuts my hair, she really listens to what I want and understands the texture of my hair and gives amazing blow dries. I’ve recently started having my colour done by Emily, who is super talented. We went for a deep chocolate brown gloss, had a good chat about the different options and my hair looks and feels great. Lovely salon, I always recommend them and look forward to my appointments.

I recently had a Gent’s haircut at George Northwood Shoreditch, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I went from Shoulder-length to a much more modest length. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. They offered drinks on the house twice, which added a nice touch to the experience. Plus, the friendly dog roaming around really made the environment feel relaxed and inviting. I was lucky enough to have Anaïs as my stylist. I showed her two reference pictures for a similar haircut, and she exceeded my expectations, creating a look that was even better than the pictures I had in mind. Anaïs not only delivered a fantastic cut (using both scissor and razor techniques to achieve a natural curtain flow with structured mullet and natural sides), but she also took the time to offer sincere styling recommendations that I truly appreciated. Her friendly personality made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Before the cut, my hair was washed, and I was treated to a relaxing head massage, and set the tone for a great experience. The entire team complimented my new haircut, which made me feel valued and confident in my choice. Overall, George Northwood Shoreditch offers a top-tier salon experience with a fantastic team, professional service, and great attention to detail. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality service and a relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Always unbelievably happy when I leave the salon. Such a gorgeous experience as the salon itself is lovely too. I have Emily for my colour and she always nails it and I’ve had Yezi, Anais and Xavier for my cut (I’ll take whoever I can get as I know they’re all trustworthy 😂) who have all been wonderful.
