We fell in love with this venue the second we stepped through the door! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day at Owen House! Not only did we have the most amazing weather for an end of October wedding, but Vanessa, Kris & the team were simply incredible. From start to finish the day was just perfect, we had so many compliments on how good the venue was and how it’s completely different to anything they’ve seen before. Our guests loved trying to get pictures with the planes flying over! Communication leading up to the venue was great, any concerns or queries would be answered as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone for making our day so perfect! 🫶🏼 The Hawbrook’s! ❤️

I only have amazing things to say about having Owen House as a wedding venue and would recommend it to anyone. We had the best day and so many guests told us how great the venue was. The staff make the experience, they are all friendly, helpful and responsive. Answering any and all questions and giving great advice. A huge thank you to everyone for making the process so easy. We also ended up using suppliers recommended by the venue for most things and we would pick them again. The venue itself is perfect, they’ve thought of everything you could need. It’s beautiful as it is without a huge amount of decor but it also works with any extras you want. The getting ready rooms and the on-site accommodation is all fantastic as well. I just wish it wasn’t over already!

When I first saw this venue a year ago I was blown away and overcome with emotion. Everything about it is stunning and is absolutely perfect if you are like us and want to get ready, have your ceremony, wedding breakfast, reception and stay in an honeymoon suite all in one phenomenal location. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did for us and continue to do for us even after the event; Chris, Vanessa, Dan, Ford, Caroline, Richard, Ell, Natalie and anyone else behind the scenes at this incredible venue - you all made our wedding day the most amazing day that we will cherish for years to come. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

The first wedding fair we attended was at Owen House, and from the first instance, we knew we just had to be there on our big day! The venue itself is gorgeous and suits the vibe we wanted to achieve. All of the staff are super friendly and exceptionally helpful, ready to assist with any query or concern we had. The fact that they have an on-site ceremony room (an especially beautiful one I might add!) was also a game changer for us, as we loved the thought of everyone being exactly where they needed to be for the whole day. Ell was in charge of the running of our ceremony and reception on the day, and she was an absolute star, making sure everything happened smoothly and on time. The on-site accommodation was really convenient, as well as stylish, spacious and pristine. A big thank you again OHWB for hosting such a perfect day for us, it surpassed our greatest expectations 😊

We were looking for something special for our wedding at Colshaw Hall and were recommended 'The Word Is Love.' After perusing through the extensive catalogue (we were spoilt for choice), we settled on the 4ft rustic letters for our surname which provided the perfect backdrop for both the wedding breakfast and evening reception! Suzy and Ollie were very quick to respond to our enquiries and made the whole process extremely straight forward - from the initial booking, set up at the venue and collection the next day. Suzy and Ollie communicated directly with the venue which we were incredibly appreciative of! Thank you Suzy and Ollie and the Word is Love team for being a part of our special day and providing us with the perfect backdrop (and our guests with some amazing photo opportunities!)

We hired the neon ‘until death do us party’ sign from the word is love. It looked even better (and bigger) than I expected - I loved it and it looked great next to our dance floor. Suzy and Ollie were so helpful and the hiring/set up etc was so easy and all organised by them but fitting in with everything we asked! Thank you both - would highly recommend and hopefully will have the opportunity to hire again for a future party! Hannah & Phil

We just had our wedding on Saturday and used The Word is Love to hire a wooden arch with neon sign. Suzy was great at replying to emails and so helpful when we decided to change to a smaller arch! On the day the arch and neon sign looked fab and gave a lovely glow to the day, the arch was then used in the evening and again, looked great! We would definitely use them again 💖

We would like to say a massive thank you to Debbie and Jason for decorating the Bowden Rooms for our daughters wedding on 25th June 2022 it was absolutely stunning and everybody loved it. Nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile to make it perfect. We would highly recommend Perfect Weddings as they certainly made our day perfect. Thank you once again.

Would just like to say a big thank you to Debbie for all the effort and making our day perfect. Debbie was lovely to talk with over email / phone when we initially contacted her. We then had a follow up meeting when we were able to due to COVID restrictions and she was really helpful is suggesting things that might work with our theme and showing us different decoration options in the shop. Everything was effortless on the day, they just got on with everything and I arrived to the wonderful room set up. I would not hesitate to recommend Debbie and team and thank you so much for making our day run so smoothly.

Debbie and Jason did a fantastic job decorating our function room and turning it into a beautiful wedding reception venue. Where to start..... I can not ever thank Helen enough for giving us the most magical day of our lives and the wedding of our absolute DREAMS last September. When I first came across Helen back in 2019, I knew instantly from looking at her beautiful website and following our initial consultation that Helen was exactly the person I wanted and needed to have planning our wedding with us; I never needed to consider any other planners, I knew straight away that Helen and her team were going to be the ones for us. Initially, my (now) Husband was against the idea of spending money on a wedding planner however with heavy work schedules and dreams of a luxurious wedding but not knowing a thing about the industry, there was no doubt that it was a battle he was not going to win; he will be the first person now to say it was the BEST decision we made in the whole of the planning process. Having Helen on board paid even more dividends when COVID hit and we were faced with two postponements; Helen took so much stress away from us during that time, showed us so much care and I have no doubts that Helens reputation and highly respected position in the wedding industry meant that we were luckily able to move the wedding date on both occasions with minimal financial impact. Helen is not only the ultimate professional, she is just the most wonderful person and I will be forever grateful that we were able to share such a special time with her and have her support for every step of the way. Her eye for the small details, her impeccable taste, along with her non-nonsense approach and wealth of knowledge really did help create a dream day for us and our families, far beyond any expectations. This truly amazing venue came to our rescue after our previous venue let us down 4 weeks before our wedding, Rachel, Harriet and the team worked so hard to ensure our day was perfect, and it was, it was magical! From the moment me and my (now) husband saw Stocks Farm Barn we fell in love with the venue. We booked 2 years in advance and from the start the venue were amazing. The whole team were so attentive. All emails/calls were responded to quickly and all queries were answered. Nothing was too much. Rachel put me at ease whenever we spoke we and helped when I worried I missed anything and reassured me. The day before the wedding I dropped off some bits and the staff on site were fantastic they made sure they knew what I was dropping off and what was required. The day of the wedding the whole team were amazing and attentive to everything. They were on hand but not overbearing and made sure everything ran smoothly. The venue was amazing and the houses for our family to stay in meant we could all have breakfast the next day. The venue is accessible which was perfect. It had ample parking. The whole grounds are stunning I cannot recommend the venue enough

Our Incredible Wedding Venue! We can’t put into words just how amazing Stock Farm Barn was for our wedding on 30th November 2024! From start to finish, everything about the venue and the team was absolutely flawless. The barn is simply stunning—a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. From the moment we saw it, we knew it was the ideal place for our special day. The high ceilings, twinkling fairy lights, and cosy, welcoming atmosphere made it feel like something out of a dream. The team at Stock Farm Barn were phenomenal. They went above and beyond to make our vision a reality, handling every detail with care and ensuring the day ran seamlessly. Nothing was too much trouble, and their professionalism and kindness made the whole experience completely stress-free for us. The setting is truly breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful countryside that created the perfect backdrop for our photos. Our guests were blown away by how picturesque the venue was, and we loved the flexibility of the indoor and outdoor spaces, which worked perfectly for every part of the day. What can we say about this place apart from perfect, would do again. Rachel and team looked after us from day one. The big day ran like clockwork and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
