Enjoyed a fantastic meal at the Golden Pheasant in Etton. A group of 8 of us, we pre-ordered off the festive menu. The menu was so reasonably priced for such high quality, professional food - it is worth more! The food was all presented beautifully, and was extremely tasty. You can tell this chef is highly trained! The entire table said how tasty the food was, and we all enjoyed sharing the vegetables/ accompaniments- it felt like a family Christmas dinner! The service was friendly, thank you so much to our two lovely waitresses Alison and Ashleigh, and the General Manager Suzanne. We loved our festive table with decoration and crackers! Excited to see posters for future special menus and events in the pub too - looking forward to New Year’s Eve and the Tasting Menu evening with Big Bird Catering! Having been aware of the food and service previous years not being so good, it was exciting to see such a good quality food offering, varied menus, and such friendly service. A superb local establishment for all of the outskirts-of-Peterborough villages. Thanks Golden Pheasant Team!

Excellent food, friendly staff and great service! The menu changes every two weeks so you can always try something new every time you go. Good selection of drinks too. Happy customers, can’t wait to go back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thursday evening supper with friends was convivial and very enjoyable in this excellent local pub. The menu is sensibly short with classics like fish and chips along with more adventurous offerings. Photos attached of my pigeon breast starter and sea bass on truffle risotto (sorry forget to take before I started!). The wine list is also short but a good selection and well priced. We enjoyed a Picpoul. The decor is gradually being updated by the new owners/managers but the friendly efficient service made the odd brick wallpaper disappear! Will definitely return. Good place for walking and cycling.

Nice clean country pub. I had Halibut mustard grain fondue, crab, which was very nice, my son had the beef burger with added bacon and fries, to which he said was delicious, it certainly looked very good, with a generous portion of fries, my wife and mother in law both opted for the sausage and mash, this was served in a bowl, which was full to the top, good helping of mashed potato and ample gravy, the sausages, to which they got three each were a really good size, not jumbo’s but not standard size, they both enjoyed this dish very much, for dessert,, three of us had the apple and pear crumble which again was delicious and my wife had the chocolate Affogato which was equally as good. Service was outstanding, although it was very quiet on our visit (Thursday lunchtime) the waitress was very good checking everything was ok and very quick In getting refreshments to the table. The pub itself was very clean, no sticky tables etc to which you sometimes get in other places. I would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely be returning at some point.

Great little pub with a friendly atmosphere and lots of selections of beers. We didn't stay for long as we thought they did food, turns out they do not serve food. However they were friendly to point us in the right direction! Would deffo come back for more drinks

Fabulous country pub, with huge carpark, children's play area, huge area of outside seating with cover and plenty of outside seating without cover. Lovely and friendly staff, really cosy bar with great decor and all importantly, the loos are very clean, fresh and very well equipped! Highly recommend💯

I wanted to go somewhere different for a pint. So decided to visit this Deeping's Inn. When i arrived i was Welcomed with a Big Smile and Friendly Customer Service from the Bar Server. I asked the Server, could i have a Pint of Bitter. It qas poored for me and placed on the Bar for me. I then paid for my Pint, went and sat down. It was a very Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere. Very lovely people to talk to. Good conversation had with them. I really Enjoyed myself and my Tasty Pint of Bitter that Quenched my Thirst. What a Great place to spend some time just having a lovely with Friendly people. It really made my day. Just popped in for a drink while out for a walk. Never been in before, the fire was lit and a warm pub was absolutely great. The beer was good too.

The Blue Bell is the BEST pub around the vicinity. The food, service and atmosphere is splendid. It was a lunch stop for us on our way to Gatwick from Bourne and we didn’t have a booking but they seated us and were very accommodating. They found some Tabasco for me to go with their incomparable shoestring fries. We had the chicken BLT and the Cheesy Chilli Sausage sandwich. It was just the best. Love love love.

Beautiful food and friendly service. We regularly eat here and their Sunday dinners are amazing. We came most recently for a quick lunch on Friday they squeezed us in last minute before they ended serving food. There was no rush to leave and we felt welcome There. The coffee is amazing too

Wonderful service and fantastic food. Everything was lovely but the Chocolate crémeux, lime butterscotch sauce, crystallised pistachios and pistachio ice cream was exceptional. One of those courses you linger over because you don't want it to end 10 out of 5 stars if I could

First visit and it won't be the last. Outstanding food especially pollo alla crema. Staff very welcoming despite having no booking. Authentic atmosphere with background music not overly loud and families eating there. Food serving sizes bigger than most others. Thanks!

Tried this place on Friday night, and I was so impressed with the food. Not only the taste but the portion sizes were great too! The anti pasta board for one had a nice selection of meats and cheese and the garlic bread was soft and tasty aswell. My main was Gnocci in a white wine creamy sauce and I really enjoyed it. It was so flavoursome and delicious! I definitely would recommend and will be going back.

Had a fantastic family dinner at Tonino's last night! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was so cozy. Everything from the starters to the mains was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. 🇮🇹🍕🍝

Lovely Gnocchi with king prawns, asparagus in a cream sauce.Veg pizza, great pizza base. I'd have liked a little drizzle of oil as slightly dry. Maybe a more atmospheric Italian feel would have been nice. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening and would definitely go back.

First time ordering from Eastern Promise after a friend's recommendation. Beautiful lovely food. We ordered a double cheeseburger, big daddy burger, Donner Naan and chips and a portion of the popcorn chicken everything was excellent quality and none of it was greasy. Would definitely recommend. 10/10 and delivery was very quick to. Thank you

The staff here are amazing the food is also anything on the menu I've most probably tried and it's all outstanding. M and my other half order here all the time. Food is hot when delivered and really nice. They take into consideration about allergy so people are safe

5* with the food and the staff. Loaded fries and burger the one one I've had most the menu and there all good and fairly priced. If I order takeaway then this place is first in mind everyone that I have referred have said the same. Get yourself some amazing food at reasonable prices

Went there for breakfast, very good quality food servered at a resonable price. Service was a little on the slow side die to it being busy but would highly recomend other wise. Would advise pre booking table to garantee your table.

I found the hotel clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The residents balcony offers a great view over the pub garden / football screen. The evening meal was good and the full English breakfast was fantastic - really good quality sausages, bacon etc. The B&B was well priced too.

I went with family to celebrate a Birthday, it is a small restaurant but I was impressed by how nice it looked inside, the internal space is very well organized. The food was excellent and the service friendly. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own bottles and consume them at the table.

Good atmosphere and food excellent. Service not good, an hour and a half wait as staff seemed busy getting take away orders out as priority. We had booked our table so managers must have known the number of people who would be sitting at all the tables and needing serving. Also drinks got forgotten. Staff seemed to be overworked.

A great place to eat! The staff at the Taj Mahal are lovely - always friendly and going out of their way for customers. The food is delicious - and with a great range for vegetarians. There are still many veggie dishes I'd like to return to try. You can BYOB although I never have myself. It's also located literally by a large car park and in the centre of the town so very easy to get to.

Group of four went for an evening meal.Smallish dining area unfortunately sat near a noisy group of people which made it difficult for us to have a conversation.The pub had recently been redecorated so looked clean and tidy.2 of us had steak pie which arrived literally boiling.I had to waite a good 10 to 15 minutes before I could attempt to eat it,as did my sister.My brother in law had Haddock and Chips which he seemed to enjoy.My wife had a curry. Definitely mixed opinions on our experience.

Went for Sunday lunch for my wife's birthday. For me, the only downside was that the food came already plated without being given an option of selecting your vegetables. I don't like cauliflower cheese (I think that's what it was) or broccoli and would have rather had a choice. Aside from that, the food was excellent and we will certainly return

Lovely food wonderful staff especially the chef for our crumble , the only downside was we didn’t know there was a quiz on in the restaurant, hence our conversations had to be whispered to each other , beware of quiz nights on a Tuesday !!! On the whole it was a lovely evening

We chose the Goat for my Dad’s wake. Great service by Richard and good friendly helpful staff. The buffet we chose was just right and everyone has said what a nice relaxing place to be, the open fires blazing away were an added bonus. Thank you so much.
