This is a very spacious yet comfortable pub in the Weatherspoons style. Large paved rear outdoor area too. Food prices are always good. Service was a bit slow because it was Saturday lunchtime.
I mean, it's a Spoons. Relatively new still, and clean and generally well presented. Standard fare on the menu and a good range of beers and ciders. Bonus points for not having to climb endless flights of stairs for the bathrooms. In fact other than a couple of entrance stairs, the whole place is step -free. Deceptively large beer garden with good shelter too.
Spent an enjoyable evening at the Raymond Mays with friends. The table service via the app was excellent. We all had food and everything was great. Terrific value for money and a nice atmosphere. We will return.
