Went in here for lunch. The staff were very friendly and it's a lovely place to go if you want a local cafe. The cakes are amazing

This place is popular. Most of the tables were reserved, and they were turning people away who didn't have reservations. While the cake was quite good it was nothing exceptional and the coffee was average. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient.

Lovely afternoon tea, took my Mam for afternoon tea for her birthday. Lovely place, spacious, lovely sandwiches, scones, coffee, brought some cakes home which I haven't eaten yet but they look lovely. Lovely efficient staff. Thank you

Six Bells is very nice and I enjoy going my only complaint- there is a lack of choice for vegetarians I can’t eat mushrooms so the macaroni cheese and mushrooms is the only choice and has been on the menu for a long time. The asparagus risotto that used to be on the menu was very nice. There are a lot of veggies out there please offer more choice on the menu.

Lovely meal with locally sourced produce and wine in a cosy country pub. We had the rotisserie chicken and the duck and both were very tasty, made with high quality ingredients, followed by dessert that was a very generous portion! Food came really quickly. Rose wine from the local Mallard point vineyard in the neighbouring village of Essendine was really fruity. Will come back again and bring family

A superb lunch with friends. Pizzas were top notch. Two of the group had lasagne which was also excellent. Service and price were both good. Don't hesitate!

Interesting and affordable experience. So you'll get a starter and main for 22£, which I consider is more than reasonable for a Michelin guide restaurant. The cuisine is close to Italian (plenty of vegetables, prosciutto, pizza, pasta, tiramisu). The pizza was one of the best that I ever tried. The service was prompt and helpful. Will go back for sure in the future.

We visited today with our puppy, and although busy, we were given a table in the corner which was perfect for our puppy who isn't experienced in busy places. Excellent service, thankyou so much.

Late Sunday meal out with my partner and the staff were so accommodating, listened to every request very carefully so both of our needs were met. They even took us in 30 minutes early before our booking. All the staff were very friendly and Connor is a valuable asset to this restaurant. Very polite and gave great recommendations.

Wonderful throughout. Service was attentive, timely and friendly. Food was wonderful, request we made was no problem. Impressed when server asked if we would like more drinks when food arrived. Reasonably priced, lovely atmosphere, all round a really pleasant experience. Thank you!

I fancied visiting my Favourite Pub/ Restaurant. They really look after You. Nothing is Ever a problem or issue. You can book a table or you can just walk and speak to any Server or if there is a Bar Server behind the Bar. They have a very Good Menu to choose from. They do have dishes for Vegan's and Vegetarian's. Then Always ask you, do you have any Allergies with types of Food Ingredients when order your meal. They have a Good Selection of Beers/ Lagers/ Ciders and also Non Alcoholic Beverages if You prefer. I had Pint of Pedigree and Order off of they Meals Deal Offer for a Wednesday the Curry & a Beer for £ 12.25. A very Good price. When i was Served by this very Polite and Gourteous Young Gentleman, i was very pleased and could not wait to try it out. I was not Dissapointed. I had Ordered the Chicken Korma with Pilau Rice and a Naan Bread. It was a very Lovely meal, i thoroughly Enjoyed Wednesday Afternoon. That really made my day. I felt really Welcome at The Sugar Mill near Bourne Town in Lincolnshire. Just had a business lunch today at the Five Bells and what a fantastic find. The meal was superb and of very high quality. The staff gave a lovely warm welcome and great to chat with them. The pub decor and furnishings gives the whole place a nice atmosphere and great dining experience. Real ale was great. We will be returning soon. Best Regards, Derek

We decided to try the Five Bells a couple of weeks back after hearing great things. On arrival we had a warm welcome and a little banter regarding running out of my wife’s favourite tipple. I wanted a steak but as I was out the week before at a Marco Pierre White steak house and had a ribeye steak there I was slightly reluctant as I would obviously compare and wow I am so glad I did it was actually better it was cooked to perfection the peppercorn sauce was perfect and the chunky well seasoned chips was amazing ! In fact the whole meal was a true taste sensation. We have since been back to try the tapas which again was delicious, and after being introduced on the first night to a baby Guinness while talking to the new owners Bill & Lucy this is also a new firm favourite of ours. It was such a lovely night and to be made to feel so welcome is something you don’t normally get when you go out to a restaurant, this is now a new firm favourite pub to visit !

First time I’ve been in many years. Recently under new management and benefiting from a full refurbishment, my return visit did not disappoint. The welcome was friendly and the staff were very nice, polite and accommodating. The menu had really good choices and options from either the main menu or the tapas and pizza menu. The presentation, quality and flavour of the food was very good indeed. No issues at all. I will be retuning very soon!!

Popped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were great, the food was really good and the service was exceptional. We sat in the front window but there looks to be so many other areas to sit, chat and eat as you go through. My wife and I had a pizza each and they arrived at our table in good time, piping hot and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back here again and look forward to trying other options from the menu.

We chose Smiths for Christmas Dinner as one of the few places open in Bourne Christmas Day. The service between courses was slow and we had to chase. The food was good and tasty but my toast with my soup was burnt and there was only three small slices of baguette style bread. The atmosphere was limited as we were stuck away in the top corner of the upstairs near the ladies toilets. Having said all this the food was tasty, it was presented ok and the courses represented good value. If I did it again I would ask to move tables as we ate late and there was free tables. I would also ask the service between courses to be quicker. But would recommend for sure!

What a great local pub! Always a lovely atmosphere and great staff and service. Proper well kept ales at a very decent price but also a good n/a selection. Definitely recommend and if you’re eating the pies and pizza are top notch 🐧

We met for a family breakfast on Sunday morning. There were 11 of us, including children. The full English breakfasts were large, well presented and delicious. A large majority of the party had the breakfast burger, which also looked fab and everyone said it was amazing. Some of the children had the pancakes and they demolished them, which is a resounding endorsement! All round it was a most enjoyable experience and we will definitely be visiting again.

The first time I've been and it was for a wake. The food put on was delicious, couldn't fault it, and plenty of it. The staff were very friendly. It's a lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be calling in again when we're down that way.

When i arrived at this Gorgeous Establishment. I was Greeted with a very Warm Welcome from two really Friendly and very Inviting members of the Nags Head Pub in Bourne/ Lincolnshire. Billi and Maisey. They really looked after me. The Food was Superb, the Drink was Excellent, the Customer Service was the Best. I really Enjoyed myself on my visit. Atmosphere was Great. Was recommended this restaurant and decided to try even though around 25 miles away.Absolutely fantastic food at very good price, service exceptional.

Went to collect a takeaway for the first time and I was pleased to see the score on door 5*. The food was simply sublime! Will be ordering again! Thanks guys

Went there for a Christmas do. I have to say, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. The score on the door is 5*, so that's a plus.

Spent an enjoyable evening at the Raymond Mays with friends. The table service via the app was excellent. We all had food and everything was great. Terrific value for money and a nice atmosphere. We will return.

This is a very spacious yet comfortable pub in the Weatherspoons style. Large paved rear outdoor area too. Food prices are always good. Service was a bit slow because it was Saturday lunchtime.
