I have to say, as skeptical of the previous reviews as I was, Chris lives up to the hype. Fairly priced, no BS at all, easy to work with, goes the extra mile, doesn’t do more than is needed but leaves nothing undone. I can’t recommend Top Gear enough to anyone who believes mechanics rip you off. He’s the real deal and knows his stuff inside and out. Amazing customer service too; the full package. I’ve found my mechanic for life.

Amazing service and know how at reasonable prices; whether it’s a 20 year old Golf or a nearly new Audi Paul has looked after my cars superbly. He always explains what’s wrong ; doesn’t spend money unless he’s spoken to you first and will squeeze you in if it’s an emergency. He’s brilliant.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from start to finish. I cannot recommend Top Gear enough. Especially to other females who fret about taking their car into garages and worry they might be ripped off. Chris was transparent from the start about the costs and his communication throughout was brilliant. I was always kept up to date and made to feel reassured. Our car has been having problems for a few months and this finally escalated last weekend. We found out through a mobile mechanic that we had severe break problems (which we knew because we could hear metal on metal). It’s one of those car problems you know are going to big, so you want to call around and find the best team for the job. Top Gear was exactly that team. They caught our eyes from their amazing reviews, and they absolutely lived up to them. From giving us quotes for three different kinds of parts to accommodate any financial budgets, to being extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived, to being communicative throughout the repair process, Top Gear really cares about the cars and the people in them.

Really happy with the service from Adrian at F5ECC, my car was having issues and running really poorly. I decided to ask for Adrian's help. Adrian moved mountains to squeeze a booking in for me within a couple of days. when he arrived he explained every stage of the process to me in detail showing me all the data on the computer. I now have a car with no check engine light, running so smooth and quiet. More MPG. Just like having a new car. Many thanks Adrian and I will certainly use you again in the future, probably as a pre-service preventative measure. Superb customer service.

An honest man with integrity. Adrian for you who don’t know him. Didn’t oversell me or undersell me, kept it a hundred and gave me very useful information on my cars performance and capabilities. I was also looking at having some work done in regard to walnut blasting. Adrian advised me on the situation and what to look out for. Because of Adrian I was able to avoid someone who was going to sell me a lie and perform a task that would’ve completely ruined the engine. I had two cars booked in and both cars fire like brand new! Considering one had 130K on the clock and the other had over 200K. Because of his service, my car engine light no longer appears (I had this diagnosed twice and found nothing having spent close to £150 for both combined) For those of you who have doubts, I would definitely recommend Adrian at F5ECC. He knows what he’s doing! Reliable. Honest. Value for money.

I can’t recommend Leon highly enough! He came to my house and carried out a full diagnostic on my car after I’d been struggling with a recurring issue for a while. Unlike other mechanics, Leon conducted a thorough analysis and identified the root cause—an intercooler leak at one corner, which was causing issues with the EGR valve. Leon is an absolute expert in his field, with an impressive depth of knowledge and attention to detail. Just had my car completed with this company and I found the service to be friendly and professional. I was given clear information on the process beforehand with good instructions on what to do to prepare the car. The service took just under and hour and my vehicle was treated with care and carbon cleaned as requested. I was not expecting a night and day difference but got a more responsive car and a quieter engine. My car also had a known miss fire and even this greatly decreased. It is definitely worth a go especially if you have done many miles and my direct injection engine needed it. I also got diagnostic read outs showing was healthy aside from the slight misfire. 5 ✨✨✨✨✨

After taking my daughters car to various garages for repairs I dreaded it when I heard the clunking noise coming from underneath! We’d spent so much money already on this car! So whilst she was abroad I decided to trt Marriott and Stimson! I phoned up, explained the problem and the man said to just pop down with it. It was looked at straight away and fixed within 10mins for less than £20! I was so impressed with the service that I feel compelled to share positive feedback! Pulled out a screw from the tyre. Got quotes of 180-190 for fitting from major brands in store or mobile but needed to wait 2 days minimum. Rang Trevs tyres and got an instant quote £10 cheaper to fit next day. But after an hour they informed the tyre is delivered and can fit today. Went there during lunch break and fitted in 20 min. Friendly and professional service. Saved me a work day and lot of hassle. Will comeback. Thank you 🙏😀😀

I use KNH regularly for my taxi and I couldn't ask for better service. They've seen me at short notice, got the car on the ramp early if they can and been totally transparent with all the work they've carried out.

I rang up on the off chance, having had a mare with a new car I’d purchased just 7 days prior. The lady that answered was very helpful, and managed to squeeze me in after only 45 mins. KNH really went out of their way to help one of my care team. She relies on her car for work and we rely on her to be at work. After her car broke down and she was stranded, KNH went out to her within 30 minutes, took her car back to their garage and completed a repair the next day to get her back on the road for her evening care run. We are thankful and amazed at the speedy support. Highly recommended.
