I reached out to Adam to discuss his availability in fitting a home charger for an EV, as I saw he was listed as an approved installer. From my initial email to the charger being fitted, the process took just six days. He responded almost immediately to my first email, called round on time the next day and talked me through all the options. He called around again to confirm the appointment - when he could easily just have emailed instead – which was a nice touch, and was in touch again on installation day, to re-confirm times. The work was conducted by two of his colleagues. They were polite, professional and helpful, taking the time after the installation to talk me through how to download the charger app, the functions involved, etc. Very impressed.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. All monies raised go to a very worthwhile cause, mental health issues. The staff are mostly volunteers. We just had scones and warm drinks but there was a wide range of options available including vegetarian. All on a level and wheelchair accessible, there is quite a walk to the toilet though.

What an amazing local place - staffed by volunteers - that not only serves great 'homemade' food and very nice drinks, all served with a friendly face, but is helping a great cause - Mental Health. Why would anyone spend their money at an International Brand and increase their large profits, when you can have better quality at "Don't Lose Hope" and help your local Community. THANK YOU.

Lovely staff, food are light bites, jacket potatoes, pizza. Coffee was excellent and reasonable, I had barbecue chicken and cheese wrap served with salad and crisps and coleslaw. My friend had the same meal but a cold drink. Came to under £16.00 great value and was very tasty. Volunteers serve you. This is well worth going , very busy though, only one table free. If going as a crowd it is better to reserve your table.

These guys are absolutely incredible ❤️ Not only is the food, drinks and service amazing (you have to try the brownies) but their counseling services are transformative. Their vegan rocky road is a right treat and they make the most gorgeous vegan hot choc and cream! Grateful to all involved.

Lovely small tearoom with a menu of paninis and sandwiches, plus some lovely homemade cakes. Staff are all lovely and really make you feel welcome. Best tasting coffee in town. All profits are used to support people who are in need of mental health counselling.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Newton's Wine and Tapas Bar. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the welcoming owners and friendly staff, who made us feel right at home. Brilliant experience. Not my first time here but first time for food. The welcome on arrival was warm, covid safe and made us feel very comfortable . Very clean establishment with friendly staff and absolutely wonderful food! We got plenty and deserts and I couldn’t fault any of it. If I had to find a fault I’d have to try very hard and say a wobbly table leg but the gentlemen spotted it wobble at the same time as we did and corrected it simultaneously so there goes my only fault being a fault as it was corrected to fast 😉 keep up the good work and we will be seeing you soon! Thank you for a wonderful service and the fabulous food!

Newton’s Wine and Tapas Bar is an absolute treat! This family-run gem knows how to deliver. We kicked things off with calamari that was perfectly crispy and tender, and the ribs… wow! They genuinely fell off the bone and were smothered in the most incredible secret recipe sauce—pure magic on a plate. The service was spot on—friendly, attentive, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The atmosphere? Cosy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening. If you’re after exceptional food with a personal touch, Newton’s is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Absolutely 💯 gem of a place. Ideally located in town centre, superb selection of beers, wines etc. Fabulous outside seating out back! Undercover and warm. Really great decor, atmosphere and definitely well worth a visit! Lovely friendly staff, too. Clean, fresh, and well-equipped toilets with huge proper mirror for checking the outfit, etc😊

My girlfriend and I visited here a couple of weeks ago, and I've made a point of actually remembering to leave a review because we both agreed that this is easily one of the best places to eat locally! The couple who run the restaurant and kitchen could not have been more helpful, and the service was first rate! We happened to go on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was pretty quiet (we were told that Friday's and Saturday's are much busier, but we both felt that people are clearly missing out, and I would recommend going on a Thursday if you can). As to the food, everything we ate was seasoned, flavoured and cooked to perfection. You can also tell that it's freshly prepared from scratch, and with really good ingredients. We've been to a fair few tapas/mezze restaurants, and this one is easily top three of those we've been to! Many thanks to the lovely couple who both served us and cooked the food - we will definitely be going back.

Amazing coffee and lovely people. The caramel lattes are scrumptious. The trailer looks incredible too. I asked for a small hot chocolate for my little boy and he loved it. Perfect temperature for him. Hope to see them at lots of local events. Edit - We went into the new shop today and had wonderful service, fantastic coffee as always and the treats on offer were great- we had trouble choosing between them all. We will be back to try more!

I used LS Elec Ltd to channel an electrical cable into a wall and upgrade an extremely dated fuse board complete with testing and certification.. i had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Lawrence was extremely professional and friendly, and his attention to detail was exceptional, with all work being completed to the highest standard. I will most certainly be using LS Elec Ltd for any future work of this nature. I highly recommend this company 5* 👍 .

If I could more than five stars I would. I am really delighted with the installation of my new ceiling lights, loft light, outside security light, ring doorbell and ring security light. I would like to thank Lawrence for setting up my ring devices in the ring application that I know I would have struggled with. So a massive thank you to Lawrence and Paul for their outstanding work and it was a real pleasure/honour having them both in my house. I would definitely recommend LS Elect Ltd for any electrical works you might need undertaking and i personally will be contacting Lawrence again in the near future to install my new oven when I eventually purchase it.

Upon his first visit Lawrence took the time to explain where the issue was and what action was needed to rectify and then ensured all work was completed promptly and to a high standard. Very polite, clean and tidy. Will definitely use again for any future issues and installations.

📍@the.cheesypig This isn't our first time trying The Cheesy Pig (the first time was at Burghley House last year), but when they're on your doorstep after you've been asking them for months to visit Lincoln, it's only fair you show up. Pair that with Chow Pizza (see previous review) being at the same location, a portion of Cheesy Pig seemed be the perfect side to our pizza. We ordered: 🍟 The Pooh Bear If you've tried The Cheesy Pig before, you'll understand that this food isn't just thrown together especially once you've tried the pulled pork. But starting the the fries, they were lovely and crisp and there was a healthy amount of them too. As for the pulled pork, not only was there soo much of it, it was delicious. The Halloumi topped with Chilli Honey works and the addition of the bacon bits just tops it off. Now that The Cheesy Pig have two park up locations in Lincoln, there's no reason for you not to try them. An extra special review for The Cheesy Pig who catered our wedding in June. We've followed The Cheesy Pig for a while, and always get their food at any opportunity - and have worked our way through the menu! So, when thinking about catering for our wedding, they were top of the list! From first contact using the form on the website to chatting with Louisa by email, the booking process was very simple and the tiers given for food choices made things straightforward. They were able to accommodate our guest numbers growing and were so ready and willing to do anything they could when working with our venue, to make the on-site arrangements as easy as possible! Choosing which burgers out of their delicious bunch proved to be much more challenging as every one we had tried was a taste sensation! My personal favourite is The Pig Mac - pulled pork with macaroni cheese and baconaise! The portions are substantial - especially with cheesy chips on the side, but the food is that good you don't see much left at the end! We didn't have a traditional wedding breakfast, The Cheesy Pig was our main food event - we knew that we wanted a meal that would work well as a part of our festival-style celebrations, and it was the perfect choice The food was incredible, and was loved by all of our guests, as we have been receiving rave reviews ever since - and have pointed all of our friends in the direction of your events and pop-up takeaway nights! Some really special personal touches too from the team, who really are at the top of their game. If you are thinking of trying the food, or booking them for your event - do it! Nice lads, even better food! Wife and I tried this on a whim at an artisan fair and were very glad that we did. Fries are cooked and seasoned to perfection, pulled pork melts in your mouth and is complemented by their cheese sauce. The bacon bits were meaty and crispy which paired well with the Mac and cheese. Hopefully we'll run into these guys again!

Finally got to see these guys on Sunday at Bourne Farmers Market. Had a Notorious P.I.G as loaded fries and the food really did not disappoint. It was brimming and full and tasty and everything in between. Can't rate the food enough and would definitely use again. Staff were really friendly and energetic made you feel welco.e from the start.

This place is a little Gem! Superb decor, friendly, efficient smiley staff and the food is perfect 😋 Plus they have the most beautifully kept courtyard to sit out in the sunshine, and the toilets are sparkling clean. Highly recommend a meal and coffee or pot of tea and cake here👍💯❤

I'm going to be honest , it's a quaint little cafe . But when I first looked at the menu and the prices . I thought my god this food better be worth the prices . And all I can say is it deffinately was . Fresh cut bread choice of white brown or granary. Beautiful bacon , and lovely sausage. Pricey but worth it . And the staff are nice and friendly.
