Love having this family friendly pub so close to home, the atmosphere is always good, everyone that works there is friendly, always attentive in ensuring you have everything you need. The roast is honestly unbelievable, best pub roast I have ever had! One of our favourite spots to visit throughout the year as a family or a meet up with friends!

Stopped as a big group with kids for dinner. The chicken burger is an absolute must! Everything is fresh, tasty and nice portions. Kids menu is also great and service is friendly. Highly recommended!

This is a hidden Saffas pub. Amazing delisious, moerse lekker, food. The burger and Bunny chow sliders were the best. Can't wait to be back and try the Sunday roast. Mmm yummmm

Just had the most delicious meal at the World’s Best Pub. Family owned and run. Friendly, homely feel traditional English Pub “with a twist” Creamy Garlic Chilli Prawns, Bacon and Cheese Burger and delicious Goats Cheese Salad were outstanding

Excellent place to eat. Managed to reserve a table in the widow. Bustling busy restaurant with excellent service. Child friendly. Pets welcome outside. Food was good value and delicious. We don't go to Watford often but this is a place I will revisit.

Yesterday, me and my partner visited Il Pellegrino while traveling in Watford. The restaurant serve best Italian food in the town. Lovely background music with friendly staff. Price is affordable as well.

This Italian restaurant is a personal favorite; I discovered it serendipitously and highly recommend it. Their pizza, with its uniquely thin and crispy crust, is exceptional. The grilled chicken breast with mushroom sauce is also outstanding. The ambiance is cozy, featuring a warm, woody décor and subdued music. While service speed could be improved—we experienced some delays and needed to call the waiter—it remains a hidden gem, offering a delightful dining experience capped by an excellent dessert.

Overall, food is pretty good, atmosphere was nice, service was friendly but also a little hasty. Pizza crust was nice, but not exceptional. The 10% service fee at the end is not something we appreciate, maybe we are just new in town.

A little bit of a gem. This place is actually two in one. On the one hand we have the Nascot Arms serving the alcohol and the other side we have an authentic Thai restaurant. Luckily for me the pub side will come to your table in the Thai side to take the drinks order to go with the fantastic food. I will say, if the menu says something is hot.. it's not a lie. Staff were polite friendly and reasonably quick with orders and service. The restaurant was clean and light, quite busy for a Monday night but only as a sign of it's popularity, and well deserved too. The atmosphere was OK but no entertainment directed at the restaurant side, however, the pub side did begin a pub quiz. All in all, a really nice place to eat, high quality authentic Thai with a very well selected menu.

Food was simply awesome. The Resturant is situated inside a pub and it was very busy when we went. Friendly service by the staff and food arrived on time. Definitely going back there again to try out new dishes. Thank you for a great experience!

We went for a Thai meal here. It was excellent. Generous portions and, more importantly, delicious red curry with duck and Panang with prawns. You order drinks separately from the pub. We had 0.0 Guinness, which complemented the curry well. Booking advised for the restaurant.

My friend brought me here, where we enjoy the food here! The prawn toast is especially different from other restaurants, very unique and the red curry with duck tastes nice too.

Such a beautiful place and great vibes. Been living here 6 months and moving back up north next week so this was our first and last ( atm ) time here and I regret not going earlier. The food was so lovely. We done the small plates and a mocktail. Absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.

Sat outside in the lovely sun, this was a quick stop before heading home. My friend and I ordered soft drinks, table water, and a side of chips. Very pretty decor and lots of photo opportunities. I would visit and recommend.

A surprisingly great meal! We just walked in with no research/recommendation and loved it. The decor was fun, every dish was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. It's tucked away a bit but it's worth the search.

Been Cassio lounge a few times. Never had a bad experience here and the food has always been good quality. The inside of the lounge is always clean and presentable and the staff are always polite and on hand to help with any question. Latest visit I tried the chicken bacon & Avacado burger and it was fantastic. The tapas plates are also very good and worth the price.

I liked it here! The food was great! I had the English Breakfast and it was fresh and delicious, I highly recommend it. You can order food to your table by scanning a QR code, which is really convenient and nice. (also can order at the bar). Food arrived relatively quickly, in 15 mins or so. There is a free water dispenser with either room temperature or iced water, which is really nice. There are some glasses to the side of it that you can fill up. I didn't interact much with staff but when they brought the food they were super friendly and nice. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. Overall really liked it here and would come back again if I'm in the area.

Very clean, staff very polite. Lots of room for my wheelchair and very very child friendly. They have a large table in the middle for the children with pens/paper, toys books etc. They have a local mum's group that meets up there. The food was amazing Great prices

Calamari was overdone and chewie but the sauce it came in, and the bread it came with were both brilliant. Liver and onions was bang on but the broccoli side again was overdone and a bit mushy... Staff and atmosphere great. Food mid range.

Located in a very convenient spot in Watford, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for quality Italian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Been here a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. Very hospitable and welcoming with great food and atmosphere. This time we shared a veggie mezze for one and a generous mixed grill. Mezze had hot and cold assorted starters, my fave was the fantastic tabouleh and baba ganoush. Pickled turnip, stuffed vine leaf, grilled pita, and on and on. Mixed grill had four pieces each tender lamb shish, chicken shish and one lamb kofte, salad & rice. Delicious and filling lunch followed by mint tea and baklava. Highly recommended.

We went for a friend's birthday celebration, the food and service were fantastic. They do special celebrations for bday's. Disappointed with the washrooms. It is on the high street and there is parking 5 mins away.

An amazing vegan experience (was there with a non-vegan also). So so many vegan options on the menu that there was almost too much choice! (Almost - in truth, you can never have too many vegan options - I’m just not used to having so much choice that I ordered too much food and had to take some away!) I ordered 4 dishes off the lunch mezza selection; the Hummus Beirute, spicy cauliflower, moussaka and the falafel. The hummus was so fresh and proper homemade traditional style. The cauliflower was probably a standout favourite for me, but genuinely all the food was fantastic and I’d highly recommend it. The staff were so friendly and helpful; very knowledgeable about their vegan dishes and pointing out their own personal favourites. The restaurant vibe is really traditional Lebanese and I loved the decor.

The staff were very welcoming and made the experience enjoyable. The food came out hot and the presentation was superb. I have already recommended to my friends and family to go and have a great experience like myself. Thank you to the staff and chefs for making a lovely meal experience for me.

Reviewing the pub First time visiting with friends and I must say the food provided to us by Jay was absolutely delicious. I opted for the flame grilled bacon and cheese burger and it didn't disappoint. The burger was actually flame grilled and had great flavour. Both drinks and food were very reasonable priced and if we don't Nd ourselves on the area again we will certainly return. many thanks for the great food Jay

Was here today 31 May and I was very impressed by young Harry who was on the floor serving food etc, he was so polite and very efficient. Keep it up Harry well done
