This is my second time to eat in this beautiful, clean, new and comfortable restaurant. But I forgot to take photos last time. They provided nice food with reasonable price. Prefect service and very nice waiters and waitresses. They are nice and helpful. However, I had a bad experience in the restaurant today. I helped my friend to take care her 8 years old dog for two weeks during the summer holiday. Last time we saw someone brought their dog in the restaurant therefore we bring my friend’s dog to the restaurant today. Unfortunately, it is a rainy day, we haven’t take a walk with the dog before having our lunch. She was unable to bear her pee, and pee on the floor. We felt so sorry about that. I have took out all the prepared cleaning products to clean the floor immediately. Suddenly a lady come and complain to the waiter when I was cleaning. And shouted that we didn’t train our dog before bring it out. I hope she can maintain her healthy body to control her pee when she getting older. The waiter didn’t reply her, he also didn’t blame us, he tried to give us more tissue for cleaning the mess but we had enough. And he said see you next time. I am really sorry about bringing him trouble today. I must go and eat again next time. I am going to try the breakfast before 13:00 next time.

I love the place, it is nice and comfy, very homey. The menu is very good however what knocks it out of the park is the team! Ewa and the rest of the team really take it to the next level

What an amazing little gem quietly tucked away in Watford! We went for a family birthday celebration and the staff were incredibly accomdating, welcoming and friendly -- particularly Georgina (our waitress) and Caroline (reception). They catered to our preferences with the team gathering around to sing for us and providing a small complimentary birthday cupcake. It was a lovely surprise -- thank you for making our day so special! The food itself was also excellent -- I particularly recommend the roast lamb shank and the calve's liver. Both meat dishes were tender, unbelievably soft and juicy. The chef even came outside to talk to us, and we had a great time chatting to him about his secrets pan frying the liver. Food prices were also a highlight -- in this economy, it's refreshing to dine at such a fine establishment without it costing a fortune. Everything was priced very, very reasonably. Lastly, the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant was tranquil, clean and aesthetic -- it felt like a breath of fresh air even on a hot summer's day. All in all, as much as we'd like to keep this hidden gem a secret, the staff were genuinely so friendly; the atmosphere was peaceful and the food was both affordable and delicious. My family were making plans to return even before we had left -- honestly, that should say it all.

Truly deserves 5 stars in all aspects. Delivers what it says on the tin. Great ambience, bright, airy and modern in beautiful setting. Great cafe style food and wonderful service. Rocky our waiter was wonderful - very attentive and friendly. A hidden gem I would say.

Tried the Chicken Kondattam and Chicken Biryani, and they were absolutely finger-licking good! 🤤😋 The flavors were spot on, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Authentic Kerala flavors in Watford! The chicken biriyani was rich and aromatic, the beef dry fry was perfectly spiced with a crispy texture, and the beef perayal was packed with bold flavors. A must-visit for Kerala food lovers! ❤️🔥

Authentic South Indian cuisine. The staff are really friendly and polite. We tired the Paradise chicken with porotta, so filling and delicious. The chicken was flavourful and juicy.

I recently picked up a takeaway biriyani from Indian Paradise in Watford, and it truly sent me straight back to Kerala with its authentic flavours. The biriyani was incredibly tasty every bite was a reminder of home. The boiled egg on top was the highlight for me, just like the traditional Malabar-style biriyani we enjoy back home. Along with that, the pudhina chutney, raita, pappadam and pickle added the perfect balance of freshness and tang. What really impressed me was the superb packing. Even though I took it all the way to Ashford, Surrey, the food was still warm and fresh when I got home. The portion size was also very generous totally satisfying! If you’re someone who misses the flavours of Malabar biriyani, I highly recommend Indian Paradise. It’s comfort food that brings a little piece of home with it.

This was a quick stopover on the way home, so expectations were low. We went in and it turned out to be a really nice restaurant and the food was really good. I had the crème chicken, which was so good with the asparagus pieces. Mocktails are 10/10 too. I had the Gina colada 🤤

As a customer who keeps coming back.. this time I felt the food quality went bit down from past few visits. Went with friends for my birthday and as always staff is extremely kind and attentive, special shout out for the staff as they sang the birthday song for me so louldly and with full on energy. Loved it. Although I want to add that I was a bit disappointed with the food this time, the on the house pitta is no more the previous freshky baked pittas, the vegetarian grill we ordered was really bland and not cooked properly. Borek and other starters were great but main courses were not as yummy as they used to be. Thank you.

We visited OPUZ Kitchen to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and I must say, the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The customer service is genuinely some of the best I’ve encountered – warm, attentive, and truly focused on making our evening memorable. The staff went out of their way to make the birthday celebration feel extra special, and we really appreciated the personal touches. The food was delicious – full of authentic flavors, beautifully presented, and served promptly. From the starters to the mains, everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The ambiance also deserves a mention – it’s stylish yet cozy, making it a perfect setting for both special occasions and casual meals. That said, I do have a couple of small suggestions for improvement: • It would be a lovely touch to offer complimentary Turkish tea after meals, as is customary in many similar restaurants. It adds a cultural charm and rounds off the dining experience beautifully. • The quality of the chips doesn’t quite match the high standard of the rest of the menu or the overall vibe. A slight upgrade here would bring everything in line perfectly. All in all, OPUZ Kitchen delivers an exceptional dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning – highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. A solid 5/5!

This Turkish restaurant is amazing! I’m from the central London which I can tell that it’s impeccable compared to all Turkish London restaurants I’ve ever tried in London. The meat is extremely juicy and palatable, which perfectly suitable for no matter British or Chinese appetite!!! We ordered its just for two and the portion was very impressive. Definitely will try again when backing to Watford!

Recently discovered this Thai food place and everything we tried here was tasty and fresh. Even my toddler who refuses to eat everything at restaurants unless it is pizza, relished chicken satay and prawn toast. Service was prompt and Apple was a warm and attentive host. So happy to have found this place. Looking forward to bring extended family for next get together. Got only a few pictures of the main course and starters were polished off quite quickly as they arrived.

Had a super tasty Thai meal at This restraunt the other night! The food was fresh and full of flavor—especially the Pad Thai and Green Curry. Everything came out hot and just the right amount of spicy. Our server, Apple, was amazing. Super friendly, quick with service, and gave some great recommendations. She made us feel really welcome and checked in just enough without hovering. All around, a great spot for Thai food. Definitely going back—and if you go, ask for Apple. She’s the best!

Extremely delicious authentic Thai food. The resturaunt is set in a bar which is a bit of a shame, but it's separated off to the side. Fantastic service. Will be coming back!

It was our first time there and it was lovely. The food was delicious, the taste remind me vacation in Thailand 100%. The staff was kind and very helpful. I am sure I will come more often and try more of the food.

A little bit of a gem. This place is actually two in one. On the one hand we have the Nascot Arms serving the alcohol and the other side we have an authentic Thai restaurant. Luckily for me the pub side will come to your table in the Thai side to take the drinks order to go with the fantastic food. I will say, if the menu says something is hot.. it's not a lie. Staff were polite friendly and reasonably quick with orders and service. The restaurant was clean and light, quite busy for a Monday night but only as a sign of it's popularity, and well deserved too. The atmosphere was OK but no entertainment directed at the restaurant side, however, the pub side did begin a pub quiz. All in all, a really nice place to eat, high quality authentic Thai with a very well selected menu.

We went for a Thai meal here. It was excellent. Generous portions and, more importantly, delicious red curry with duck and Panang with prawns. You order drinks separately from the pub. We had 0.0 Guinness, which complemented the curry well. Booking advised for the restaurant.

My friend brought me here, where we enjoy the food here! The prawn toast is especially different from other restaurants, very unique and the red curry with duck tastes nice too.

Food was simply awesome. The Resturant is situated inside a pub and it was very busy when we went. Friendly service by the staff and food arrived on time. Definitely going back there again to try out new dishes. Thank you for a great experience!

A lovely cafe right next to Carpender's Park. Really friendly service, food was served quickly and cooked well. Good portion sizes for your money. They make a lovely cup of tea. I'm really fussy about my tea and, normally, cafe tea is like tepid milky water. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Superb food . My son had Full English and a flat white I had poached eggs on bubble and squeak and bacon and a cappuccino. Couldn't fault it.Lovely food,good service and very reasonably priced. We will return.

Food is amazing and large portions. Staff so friendly. Clean & Tidy. Only a small car park behind it that is used for other businesses so can be tricky finding a space (especially weekends!) But worth the wait!

A fantastic dining experience at Il Pellegrino! The food was exceptionally delicious, served hot and with great attention to detail. The service was impeccable—10/10. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and we were seated at a perfectly located table, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, food is pretty good, atmosphere was nice, service was friendly but also a little hasty. Pizza crust was nice, but not exceptional. The 10% service fee at the end is not something we appreciate, maybe we are just new in town.

This Italian restaurant is a personal favorite; I discovered it serendipitously and highly recommend it. Their pizza, with its uniquely thin and crispy crust, is exceptional. The grilled chicken breast with mushroom sauce is also outstanding. The ambiance is cozy, featuring a warm, woody décor and subdued music. While service speed could be improved—we experienced some delays and needed to call the waiter—it remains a hidden gem, offering a delightful dining experience capped by an excellent dessert.

Yesterday, me and my partner visited Il Pellegrino while traveling in Watford. The restaurant serve best Italian food in the town. Lovely background music with friendly staff. Price is affordable as well.

Just had the most delicious meal at the World’s Best Pub. Family owned and run. Friendly, homely feel traditional English Pub “with a twist” Creamy Garlic Chilli Prawns, Bacon and Cheese Burger and delicious Goats Cheese Salad were outstanding

This is a hidden Saffas pub. Amazing delisious, moerse lekker, food. The burger and Bunny chow sliders were the best. Can't wait to be back and try the Sunday roast. Mmm yummmm

Stopped as a big group with kids for dinner. The chicken burger is an absolute must! Everything is fresh, tasty and nice portions. Kids menu is also great and service is friendly. Highly recommended!

Very high quality food, cooked to perfection and fairly priced with good presentation, staff were friendly and kind in a sleek and romantic restaurant especially at night. Went on a Tuesday evening was very quiet but tasteful music in the background kept a positive atmosphere. The bone marrow was excellent, proper fine dining experience with expected smaller portions but the quality makes up for it.

Our absolute favourite restaurant in Watford, we’ve been multiple times and never been disappointed. We like to arrive a little early, sit at the bar and have a couple of delicious cocktails at the bar (on happy hour) before taking our table. The menu isn’t extensive, but it doesn’t need to be. The tapas style starters are all on point, personal favourites are the croquetas and gyoza. Main courses also measure up, with the jerk sauce fantastic, and the short rib falling off the bone. Top notch service throughout, and the team really make an effort to create a great vibe in the restaurant.

Visited Humo for the first time today, it has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while and it did not disappoint! We had the Tapas and tried 5 different dishes. To our surprise it was also Happy Hour so we ordered a couple of Strawberry Daiquiries to accompany our meal. If I could give the meal 10/10 I would. The drinks were delicious, each tapas dish was perfect, we particularly enjoyed the bone marrow. The service was superb too. We will be back, I suspect this could quickly become our favourite restaurant in Watford! 🤩

My husband and I went to Humo for dinner. We had the 3 course dinner menu which was good value. The starters were delicious - ham croquettes and fish tacos. The steak main was unfortunately a little rare in the middle when I had wanted medium rare but was yummy but the pickle salad was underwhelming. The dessert of pistachio tiramisu was delicious! Service - not super attentive but they were nice and had to request condiments, remind them we had ordered wine and was a little slow. Wouldn’t rush to go back here.

Went for lunch at The Load of Hay today with my mother, food was absolutely amazing and home cooked, staff so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again... highly recommend

We had the best Sunday lunch here, my partner had lamb and I had the vegan roast with a vegan yorkshire! Everything was tasty and the portions were good. We would definitely recommend and will be back again when we are next in Watford. Thank you xx

This is my new watering hole. A great place for transgender folk 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈 like myself to relax. The staff are very welcoming & pleasant. Food is hot & delicious. Easy to get to by car or walking. It's a lovely pub in a lovely area.
