We enjoyed a delicious meal at Aksular this evening. Very large portions of tasty mixed doner, rice and couscous. Complimentary salad, bread and dips as well as complementary Turkish tea to finish. The restaurant was very busy but the service was excellent. There was only one guy serving but he managed the place well and kept everything running smoothly. He was happy, friendly and customer focused. First class service and amazing food. Thank you!
My daughter and I popped into this restaurant after school for a little bite, but it turned into a proper feast! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was second to none. I’m taking the time to leave this review because if you haven’t heard of this place yet, you have now—an incredible local gem. I only wish I’d discovered it sooner!
So I always end up ordering food from this restaurant after a long day, because of the amazing food and reasonable prices. The portion is more than enough for one person and the food arrives quickly. Cooked to perfection with all the condiments. Though if you order from uber, it's a bit expensive but if you collect directly it evens it out!
Common guys, this place deserves a 5 star all round, honestly! It's the first time I went there with my family as it was my wife's birthday. The service from making the phone call to book the table all the way to us leaving the restaurant was outstanding. The food was excellent and tastier than at other bigger Turkish restaurants I have been. Although we went there at the busiest time, we did not have to wait for hours to be seated. We have been to another big one twice and each time we had to wait for nearly 1 hour to be seated despite making reservation. No issue with the birthday cake. The manager kept it in fridge and then brought it at the right time for us. We were even offered Turkish tea on the house! Although small, this restaurant deserves to be attended to more often. It's the best Turkish restaurant I have been by far and the best Turkish food we had, including free humus! Highly recommended. 🙏🏽
