Absolutely amazing pizza! I had TWO whole pizzas it was so good! And that’s not saying they’re small they’re nice and big! Also - great service, quick to cook the pizzas, and recommended toppings for us and the kids (really helpful). We will be back!

Absolutely the best pizza around! We ordered the pepperoni pizza and were blown away by the quality, the crust was airy with a perfectly crispy bottom, just how authentic Italian pizza should be. The prices are super budget friendly, which makes it a perfect spot for uni students. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a fantastic dinner here! The interior was beautiful, the servers were all friendly and the food was brilliant. We loved the smoked drink on our table before the food arrived and will definitely return to try more of the menu.

Really nice waiters they so welcome! Wine taste really great. Meals are wonderfull especially like their chiefs and starters for smoke fish. If it can be more than 5 start it would because each peace in their menus have a nicest taste and flavour. Overall come here you will be amazed!

This is an outstanding restaurant. I had the tasting menu at a 3 Michelin Star restaurant in Notting Hill 2 weeks ago and Thompson’s food is just as good and much, much better value. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Ordered a takeaway from there and even though it was just for takeaway, I could really appreciate the quality and care that went into the food. It was delicious. I can tell this place really values quality. The pictures I’ve included don’t do the food justice, but trust me, it’s definitely worth trying. Will definitely be back!

A fine dining restaurant in a lovely old building with beautiful views overlooking a lake. Food quality and presentation is excellent; probably the best in the area. Service now is friendly but a lot more relaxed than it was many years ago. Despite the lovely views, the decor in the restaurant feels really outdated. And the choice of 80s pop background music is quite bizarre. The lounge area, however, is much more stylish and great for a pre-dinner drink. Drinks outside on a warm summer evening are also a pleasurable experience.

I visited Auberge du Lac this afternoon for a friends birthday and it was perfect! The grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious with impeccable presentation, and the service was well beyond 5*. The whole afternoon felt like a holiday! Bilal is such a kind and amazing person and made our visit extra special. Thank you so much!

The staff were all really well trained and professional in accommodating everyone and making people feel comfortable. I was so impressed by how kind and understanding they were! I could tell their manager really paid attention to training each staff. The food was lovely, some of the best salmon dish I've ever had. The ambience was perfect as well.

Service was quick, friendly, and surprisingly attentive — they made sure my plate was never empty for long. It’s the kind of place where you walk in hungry and roll out happy (and maybe a little too full!).

Food is very flavourful and big portion sizes. Biriyani feels like home and other starters are also very tasty. Resturant is clean and staff is very helpful. They also have alcohol beverages.

Visited Miller and Carter Brookmans park after hearing rave reviews for a birthday celebration. Was not disappointed. Absolutely loved the fillet steak- perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. T-bone was huge and delicious. My puddings was the best for me- the biscof torte. The cocktails were amazing. Great value with the ' steak and cocktail' deal. My son is gluten free and the menu had a great selection. He got the full rack of ribs and again they did not disappoint. 10/10 for the whole meal. Absolutely lovely

Excellent service from start to finish, especially from Emmalina who was very cheerful and was very friendly with me and my sister, whose birthday (tomorrow) we were celebrating. She made sure we had everything we needed and served us promptly and checked in on us often. We loved our meals and my sister was delighted as our meal couldn’t have gone any better. Thanks.

15 of us came for dinner tonight. Service was a little slow to start but then Lauren took over and was absolutely perfect. Very attentive and patient with our large group. We know we can hit a bit much so she was fantastic. Thanks to her. It changed how we felt about the night. Food was spot on. Steaks all cooked perfectly.

Our server, Kate, was very welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout. We had the Sunday Sharing Board and it was delicious. There was an excellent amount of food for the cost. The restaurant is clean and well spaced out. All in all my friend and I had a very enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Group of 10 pre booked for Sunday lunch. We were allocated a table in the conservatory which was lovely, bright, a bit toasty for those in the direct sun, but windows open part or fully. The acoustic was much better than some pubs - we could hear each other well (important over lunch!). As per the stars, food v good, staff very pleasant and attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable occasion for all of us. Thank you... we will be back! 😀

Went to visit this pub with a colleague for lunch a week ago. We tried another pub in Colney Heath. However, they did not serve lunch on Tuesdays, which is when a local suggested this pub instead. Great staff and a very good proper lunch. People were starting to enter by the time we left but overall a nice little pub and definitely exceeded my expectations.

A Fantastic meal and atmosphere right on my doorstep. This is one of the few great pubs left nowadays with honest, classic pub food at reasonable prices. If you eat a main course, please have a desert too. You'll die for the proper classic crumble or the chocolate fudge pudding with Ice cream or custard. Mmmm! The service is also prompt and warm, with the owners being really hospitable. Don't hesitate to try this great 120-year-old village pub.

Sunday lunch with family at Nandos. Very friendly service , we was able to get table without booking. Order easy and quick you are using your phone to place your order. Price for 5 people not bad £100+ only one minus my daughter wrap was mild 🌶️ but still to hot for her., Overall all food was very nice and tasty 😋
