My daughter has just finished her GCSE exams. She had maths tuition with Matt from February to the final paper last week. Due to weekly tuition with Matt we saw a considerable improvement in her overall ability, with a grade increase for her mocks in March. Matt makes his students feel relaxed about getting things wrong, does not pressure them and gets the best out of them. I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Not only did he help to make sense of the areas of maths which were a struggle, but he also subtly coached our son to have a positive mindset. Having been hugely reluctant to begin his tutoring, he very quickly looked forward to the sessions and came away like a different person - much less stressed, and confident to tackle his exams.
