Chris is an amazing tutor and my son loved working with him - he would often come away from a session buzzing with enthusiasm.

My son wasn’t overly confident about A level physics during y12. But he started working with Chris at the start of y13 and a few months later he told me physics had become his favourite subject! In one year Chris helped him go from a D in his y12 mocks to a B (just shy of an A) in his A levels, and getting his place at Durham. Chris was also able - in one session - to help him fully understand a challenging maths topic he’d been struggling with, after missing some lessons with covid. I can’t recommend Chris highly enough.

The support that Chris has provided to my daughter has been amazing. We started working with Chris in March 2020 via online sessions and this has not impeded the tutoring he has provided in anyway. He has built her confidence and knowledge in her ability and she feels fully prepared for her GCSEs. She has not yet finished Year 10 and he is supporting her with revision techniques. They have developed a really supportive relationship which is down to his personal individual approach - rather than a blanket way of tutoring. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Chris tutored my daughter online for A-level Maths and my son online for GCSE Physics. Both were really happy with Chris. They found him really friendly, personable and helpful. Initially I wanted a face-to-face tutor but found the online sessions were ideal and am now glad we didn't go for a face-to-face tutor. It meant both ourselves and Chris could be quite flexible and it was really convenient in terms of simply turning the computer on rather than having to drive somewhere. Both my son and daughter said they preferred doing the sessions online rather than in person. They both said that their knowledge of the subject improved after the sessions with Chris. Neither have received their exam results yet but whatever they get I would not hesitate to recommend Chris.
