Fiona tutored my 16 year old daughter weekly after failing her mock maths exam. Her confidence grew and Fiona showed her lots of strategies to use, which really helped her to understand maths. She has just passed her GCSE and that is mainly due to the help Fiona gave her. She is an excellent teacher and we would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with the subject.

I signed up with First Tutors a couple of months ago and got messages from prospective clients pretty much straight away. It's a really easy system to use, thorough checks are made and you have to supply references. I also like that contact details aren't shared until you've accepted a client and they have paid the release fee. It seems to be a really good system for both tutors and tutees.

It is absolutely worth it for your kids. The staff are friendly, inviting, understanding, and caring. My son has come on leaps and bounds with his knowledge since joining. The centre continously monitor and tweak the learning go get the best out of him, the update reports are peronalised and really indepth. Schools should be trying to model explore learning more as he's mastered and embedded more learning here in a short amount of time than he's done all year in school! They always offer taster sessions and offers so if you're around with your little ones go in and give it a try you won't regret it!

My son started at explore learning about a year ago for the 11+ exams. From his first month there, I could see a huge difference in his learning capabilities, and academic confidence. He wrote the exams last month and thanks to the immense support and tutoring from Elliot, Shaz and the team at Explore Learning Heaton Park, he aced the exams for the Trafford Consortium and St Ambrose College. Leading up to the exams, he was so confident, well-prepared and ready to give it his best, again thanks to the excellent prep classes, exam tips, mock exams, access to self learning materials etc. I was definitely more anxious than he was. I'm so happy with the progress he's made since starting the lessons, and we are continuing for SATs and sec. school prep.

Amazing people who have made such an incredible change to my daughter’s education. Not only has she made incredible progress and caught up in learning but she now loves it!! The tutors and the managers are all so wonderful, friendly and get it right for every child. Highly recommend this place, best value for money for tuition.
