Whilst it wasn't great having a rat in the house I've now discovered a brilliant pest control person whom I'm very happy to recommend. He was punctual, efficient, tidy and thorough. He really knows his stuff and even though he'd got the rat after his first visit, he returned twice more to check there were no more and to fit a valve to stop others getting in. Excellent work and a proper professional.
