I had a couple of interior door handles where the springs had broken after 15 years use meaning the handles would not return to the horizontal position. These guys managed to make new springs for each lock which now work better than new. All done in a couple of days. Excellent service. Other locks about 50 years old still going strong unlike the more recent Chinese rubbish!! Highly recommended.

Today I came in to Albany locksmiths with a snapped key for my van dead locks that was also covered in super glue as I stupidly tried to bodge it. At first it wasn't looking promising but with the expert skills from Tony he managed to re-cut the key. Some kind of magic if you ask me. I've learnt a valuable lesson. Don't glue your keys back together people. Not only was the service cheap and fast but Tony was a very professional polite guy. Tony was brilliantly helpful and knowledgeable both over the phone and in person. He talked me through removing a lock barrel so that I could take it to him in the shop where he was able to select a suitable replacement together with new offset door handles. He then flagged up a couple of important points to bear in mind when I was fitting them to the door. Both points were vital in being able to complete the installation myself instead of needing to call them out. He also happily trimmed a couple of bolts when it turned out they were too long for my door.
