Tim provides an outstanding service, he's available, reliable and knowledgeable and has always done an excellent job getting us secure again. Last call was out of hours but he was there within minutes to get us sorted so thank you Tim - you provide a very valuable local service and Ashby is lucky to have you!

I called Tim from Hazlewood Locksmiths in the morning at 11:45 AM when my front door lock mechanism failed. Despite having a packed day with around 17 jobs, he still managed to come out that afternoon and get it sorted. The part he replaced wasn’t even something you could just pick up from a shop, but he had it with him. You can tell straight away that he’s got years of experience. He was quick, professional and explained what he’d done in a really straightforward way. No issues, just got the job done properly. He also mentioned that doors can shift slightly depending on the season and offered to come back and adjust it if needed free of charge, which really shows how much he cares about doing things right. On top of that, he’s someone you instantly feel you can trust and his prices were very reasonable. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. We’ve used his services several times. 👍🏻 😊

Tim was very helpful recently when a customer of mine locked himself out of his room with valuable possessions inside. Unfortunately I was (at the same time) called out to another emergency out of County. Despite being "out of hours" Tim was poised and ready to go within minutes and headed out to the customer, arriving in about 20 minutes. Tim was able to pick open the lock which allowed the cylinder to be used on a key when the "in hours" staff returned - this made the job cheaper for the customer who had made a simple mistake. Thank you Tim and I will happily recommend him for any locksmith work in the future.

Stephen was literally a live saver tonight, I was lock out my house with my son and he literally took under 15mins to get to my house to unlock the door, he was very friendly and light hearted, he also recommended some places to get some decent keys cut, will be using this locksmith again if im ever in another pickle!

I called Richard yesterday evening at 8.30pm as we needed a front door lock replacing urgently. He arrived super quickly within 15 minutes & took apart the old lock & changed it to a new one speedily & efficiently. He was a lovely guy & was really patient with my disabled cousin who's house it was to make sure he could use the new lock easily & was happy with it. After speaking to one locksmith who wouldn't/couldn't come out, we were put over to Peak Auto Locks, who were able to help us. We were on holiday in Derbyshire and I had locked my car up and for extra security I had put a disklok on the wheel. The next morning went to go out, and I had forgotten the key to open it(silly me). Ash came out and after we were warned that there could be damage to my steering wheel if he had to use an angle grinder to get it off. I was nervous, but after trying without one, it failed to come off, so the angle grinder had to be used. In the end, all was well. It came off with no damage, and we were able to carry on with our holiday. He came out very quickly. Thank you very much for your quick and professional service. Martyn arrived as soon as he could after I got in touch with him and he was able to get us in our house within half an hour despite us having a tricky door! On Saturday we were unable to lock our front door. Phoned Tom at Top Locks and he turned up just over an hour later and replaced the door lock mechanism. Tom has done work for us before at another address and on both occasions he has turned up when he said he would. Tom is polite, friendly and efficient. I can definitely recommend Top Locks.

Fantastic service at a great price. Needed to fix my insignia key fob, called around some mobile guys who were expensive. Went here fixed for £25 in 10 minutes, the guy was brilliant friendly and knew what he was doing. Fantastic service.

He came the day I called and fixed my broken lock. He needed to get a new part and was back that day to complete the job. Visited the Allenton store with a friends watch that had had a battery change elsewhere and now couldn't be wound after the clocks went back. Very good quality key cutting for car keys, they have done 6 sets of keys for 4 cars which one was a new case. The others I bought decent cases of eBay and they cut them and I swapped over the internals. No issues at all with the keys working in the locks and they were all friendly and great prices. I only did 2 out of emergency really but since they were great I followed up buy doing the others since the other 2 cars are 07 and 08 so the original Vauxhall fobs were collapsing on the buttons making them hard to use. Not now, all my cars have as new fobs :)
