This course is very well maintained. It's probably going to be our new go to place here in the Richmond area. For the price and the quality of the course it's a really good deal. They have a nice little clubhouse that at the turn you can always stop in and grab a hot dog, hamburger or whatever they have made up for the day. They also have a nice little Drive-In range and putting green you can do a little bit of practicing on. For just a hacker like myself the course provides some good challenge and holes, they do have some nice open Fairways and a number of holes that you need to be aware of where the water is. I know back in the day they won some awards I don't know if they're still at that quality but if not they're still pretty close. They tend to book up pretty quick so typically recommend if you're looking to play try to book early or give them an actual call at last minute I've had the clubhouse be able to work me in. If you haven't played here I definitely would recommend giving it a chance because if you have played here you definitely would be coming back.

Course is in great shape! Front 9 is definitely more fun than the back, but still very enjoyable. Friendly folks throughout the round. Beverage cart could have started a little earlier, my round was on a Saturday morning at 8:20 and I didn’t see anyone until hole 16, but that’s a very minor critique. Will be back to play again!

Tuesday tee time at 12:45, playing with a foursome. Seemed that the tee times were spaced out enough for relaxed but competitive play. Greens a bit long, but well managed course, overall a great experience. Beautiful public course to spend an afternoon, but slightly pricy. Will be back!

Came from out of town and selected this course from golf now. Played on a sunny winter day after rain, but it was cart-path only. Pros: this course was affordable, staff was super friendly, and the food was good. They gave us a complimentary cooler and ice for our drinks which was a nice touch. Cons: Lack of signage, no trash cans on the course, little diversity of hole layout on the back 9, and trecking back & forth to the cart like a mountain goat all round made for a LONG day. The Bermuda grass was all dormant & patchy and this made the ball hard to find. Other courses in the area had painted the fairways making the ball easier to find. The carts were older and underpowered for all the elevation and our breaks didn’t stay enabled on some small hills. I would be interested to see what this place looks like in full summer bloom, but only with carts allowed on the fairway.
