Simon replaced all the electrics in my parent's house. They are both in their 90s so was a big ask. Simon carried out the work with very little interference to my parents and the job was done very quickly. Very pleased.

Simon was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, hard working and energetic. In addition to the work needed, He spent time tracing and finding the source of issues he came across. He showed me the evidence of bad practice from previous electrician which he rectified to make safe. This is a fantastic company. We lost power in our home in the early hours of Sunday morning and Clare spent a good couple of hours calling between us and one of their electricians to try and help us resolve the issue. She was diligent, very helpful and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. We eventually managed to get the power back on and identified a faulty socket as the culprit. Clare arranged to get an electrician out to us the following day (we were offered a same day option but decided to wait until Monday). The electricians who came to us were polite knowledgeable and quick workers. They completed the repair with minimal fuss and disruption to us and were completely professional throughout. Clare also completed a follow up with regards to payment confirming that our payment had been received which was appreciated. Overall this company are beyond helpful, very professional, reasonably priced and their customer service is excellent. We will definitely be using them again and we cannot recommend them enough.

Great workmanship. I needed an electrician at short notice and Darren from On-X Electrical came to my rescue. If you are looking for a professional that will complete the work exactly as you desire and provide a high level of service, I highly recommend On-X Electrical for the job. Darren is his team are a highly professional bunch which carried out their work to high standards and diligence. A consumer unit replacement job turned into then having to add extra 32amp sockets for my HiFi system didnt sway them. They were more than happy to do the wxtra work. I highly recommend them. On the day of the works we received a text in the morning stating an approximate time of arrival. Darren is a very personable and friendly man. I have used him to do numerous jobs, over the past few years, adding and changing sockets, changing and fitting most of our ceiling lights, fitting external sensor floodlights, fitting all of our external Ring security and also adding new external weather-proof sockets. I think on nearly every occasion I have been shocked by the cost, always expecting the work to cost more than Darren charges! Darren always responds to request messages quickly, is relatively quick to book you in, always keeps his appointment and is never late. I have recommended him to friends and neighbours on a few occasions and the feedback is always very positive. Call him, book him, use him, you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant! Darren stopped our house going up in flames so what more can I say 😂 Darren is a walking encyclopaedia of electrical knowledge and governance but explains everything in an easy to understand way. Was clear from the get-go on pricing, answers queries promptly, turns up when he says he going to and is honest. Work was completed quickly and efficiently, looking forward to him coming back to complete the other work we have that needs doing. I generally don’t feel comfortable around people due to social anxieties, but Darren is great be be around and loves dogs, so that’s all good in my book 😂

JAW Electrics recently did a complete rewire of my house and garage. Jamie and his team were reliable, professional, and very efficient in getting the job done. Had a issue with my electricity this morning. My wife who is wheelchair bound.Able cable electricians Phone them this morning spoke to a very helpful lady. Who talked me through how to reset my fuse board. It worked so up and running again. I know some companies would have changed a call out fee. I can't fault Able Cable at all. I've used them a couple of times now to add new sockets in the lounge (a double straight to the fuse board & a single socket spliced off existing sockets), centre the lights in the main bedroom and office upstairs, change a tired pendant light to a new LED strip and make a light switch safe to be changed to a chrome switch. I wouldn't look to hire anyone else at this point and I'm looking forward to hiring them again after my holiday to fit an extractor fan, centre some more lights and fit an external light. Cannot recommend these guys enough - very friendly, very efficient, tidied up some complicated wiring & gave me a bit of advice regarding filler for the ceilings and around the new socket.

We booked Ian (ETE Electrical) to carry out a survey of our building wiring, as he was from a local business. From quotation to completion of work, the service was first class. Ian attended site when stated, completed the work as agreed and left the premises very clean and tidy. He was professional and trustworthy. He made the whole process very easy to understand and explained what work he was going to carry out for us. We have now arrange for Ian to return every six months to maintain our fire alarm system, which is a comfort to know, as he clearly cares about the service he provides to his customers. We would 100% recommend anyone using ETE for their electrical requirements.

Ian undertook the job of replacing the original wiring in my 1960s rental property. He was helpful, honest and informative from the first consultation, confirming and explaining the necessity of the work due to the poor insulation readings and age of the wiring, advising on the number and appropriate placement of sockets and switches, and highlighting the possible problems and potential extra costs that might occur during the job. He was punctual and easy to communicate with throughout and contacted me immediately to discuss any issues. Ian was fantastic at working round the couple of problems that arose, and was able to find solutions without saddling me with extra costs! When the job was completed he cleared up thoroughly. Ian is always my first port of call for any electrical work I might need. I trust his expertise and honesty and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Adam is super professional and diligent. He and his team re-wired my house and has since done other jobs for me too.
