Great workmanship. I needed an electrician at short notice and Darren from On-X Electrical came to my rescue. Darren is his team are a highly professional bunch which carried out their work to high standards and diligence. A consumer unit replacement job turned into then having to add extra 32amp sockets for my HiFi system didnt sway them. They were more than happy to do the wxtra work. I highly recommend them. Simon was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, hard working and energetic. In addition to the work needed, He spent time tracing and finding the source of issues he came across. He showed me the evidence of bad practice from previous electrician which he rectified to make safe. Exceptional service. An RCD tripped in my house and would not reset so I lost power in some important rooms. Bryden said they would be with me in an hour, which they were. Two electricians arrived and diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes. 5 minutes later a temporary fix was in place. The broken part wasn't easy to source but they had one that evening and returned at 17h45 to put the permanent fix in place. Polite, friendly, professional, effective and reasonably priced. When I asked them if I needed a new fuse box they said, "No, save your money. We are not here to drum up more work". That's an exact quote. Suffice it to say that, going forward, they will be my first call on all things electrical.

JAW Electrics recently did a complete rewire of my house and garage. Jamie and his team were reliable, professional, and very efficient in getting the job done. They also added a few extras that I hadn't thought of, and were very helpful with choosing lighting etc. They were very tidy and respectful of my property even though it was a complete tip when they arrived, and it was actually a pleasure to have them working in my house. Am very happy that Able Cable found time to do this job for us. These guys are amazing. The booking is easy. Timely arrival of the professional. Been given a lot of recommendations and safety tips. Received the very clear listed quotation the next day. After ordering the works they came in time and worked hard for 2 days from morning until late in the afternoon. They did everything that was ordered. After they finished when I had questions Roo was very kind and answered my questions, walked with me from room to room and showed and explained what they did and how it all works or how is it all connected and why. I can't fault Able Cable at all. I've used them a couple of times now to add new sockets in the lounge (a double straight to the fuse board & a single socket spliced off existing sockets), centre the lights in the main bedroom and office upstairs, change a tired pendant light to a new LED strip and make a light switch safe to be changed to a chrome switch. I wouldn't look to hire anyone else at this point and I'm looking forward to hiring them again after my holiday to fit an extractor fan, centre some more lights and fit an external light. Cannot recommend these guys enough - very friendly, very efficient, tidied up some complicated wiring & gave me a bit of advice regarding filler for the ceilings and around the new socket.

Prowired Electrical were initially appointed to provide a temporary electric board in MK1 Installations new Warehouse which came as a completely empty shell to which they were able to provide a next day service for the supply and installation. Because they provided such a high standard of service with the initial work as stated above and the costs in doing so were very reasonable, it was only right that the appointment of installing our warehouse lighting was also put their way and again, they were very helpful from advising, right through to again the supply and installation of lighting which was all done within a week. The directors(Danny & Nathan) are always happy to help and ensure that any specific requirements are met regardless of how big or small.

Karen and the team worked on a large internal lighting upgrade at our church and completed the job to an extremely high standard, getting in additional equipment needed and being incredibly flexible to get it finished quickly, when the job turned out to be more involved than we had initially realised. It has made such a huge difference to the building. Karen and the team were polite and courteous, they are qualified to the highest levels as needed by the C of E and they provided all supporting documentation immediately on completion of the work. They are very experienced in working with churches.We would not hesitate to use the team in future and would recommend to other churches in the area, as well as residential properties.

Christian and Vikki really are great, and we would highly recommend them. They replaced our consumer unit and installed a number of lights and sockets for us, both internally and externally. Simply outstanding service all the way through from my initial phone contact with Vikki who immediately understood what was required regarding my eletrical supply having been temporarily cut off by UK Power Networks and Christian who, the same day, attended my property to sort the problem and issue and email there and then, a certificate of minor works acceptable to UK Power Networks so they would then reconnect the electrical supply to my property. Darren is a very personable and friendly man. I have used him to do numerous jobs, over the past few years, adding and changing sockets, changing and fitting most of our ceiling lights, fitting external sensor floodlights, fitting all of our external Ring security and also adding new external weather-proof sockets. I think on nearly every occasion I have been shocked by the cost, always expecting the work to cost more than Darren charges! Darren always responds to request messages quickly, is relatively quick to book you in, always keeps his appointment and is never late. Brilliant! Darren stopped our house going up in flames so what more can I say 😂 Darren is a walking encyclopaedia of electrical knowledge and governance but explains everything in an easy to understand way. Was clear from the get-go on pricing, answers queries promptly, turns up when he says he going to and is honest. Work was completed quickly and efficiently, looking forward to him coming back to complete the other work we have that needs doing. I generally don’t feel comfortable around people due to social anxieties, but Darren is great be be around and loves dogs, so that’s all good in my book 😂
