The dentist is super knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything to me in a way i can understand. I have been here for more than 10 years. Had a sudden problem with one of my teeth, resulting in some pain. I was able to make an appointment with Mr Shah as a new patient, and was seen the following day. Not only was my problem resolved on the first visit, but I was given a detailed analysis of the health of my mouth and teeth. Dene Dental Practise Northwood Vik Shah has been my dentist for many years. Throughout that time he has always made each visit as comfortable as possible. At routine checkups he will carry out a thorough examination using modern equipment and advise you how to improve your brushing and flossing technique. Also, importantly, how to look after your gums. If major works needs doing he will explain why the problem has arisen and options that are available. He will explain in plain language what these are, how long it will take and the cost. He leaves the choice to you but will advise if asked. There is never any pressure for a quick decision. At all times he will keep any discomfort to a minimum and will use modern injections if required. His dental assistant will make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Finally, when it comes to booking appointments the receptionist is very helpful especially for emergencies. If you require a highly skilled dentist who uses state of the art technology, the finest materials, and has a good team around him I recommend Vik Shah.
