Symonds Woodworking has completed several jobs, over the years we have been renovating our 1830s home, which doesn’t have a single level or square wall, floor, or ceiling. Hence, every job presented a challenge and has required creative problem solving! including repairs to Georgian shutters, fitting new segments of woodwork into period features, laid flooring, new doors and frames, custom made wardrobe to fit an awkward space, repairing sash windows - all beautifully done. Whether simple or complicated all jobs have been completed meticulously. Ben is a very talented craftsman, very professional, polite, very calm and communicates clearly throughout. Nothing is done in haste; everything is about getting it done right. I would highly recommend!

Ben was able to create a window seat and storage (shelving and cupboard) for us. He was always very professional and polite. There was great communication throughout the process and we got exactly the result we wanted. He is our first port of call for any carpentry needs. Great service, highly recommended.

I wouldn’t be able to recommend Will, highly enough. We have used AHBS Carpentry for several years, over 3 separate houses. He has completed a range of tasks, from hanging new doors, to laying engineered flooring, to crafting bespoke wardrobes and storage cupboards, to major structural roofing work. All completed in good time, with a professional finish, at a fair price. Will has always been punctual, tidy, courteous, trustworthy and ready to assist with good advice, regarding all our works. We would not consider looking elsewhere, and often delayed works to wait on Will, being available. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. R&C Carroll.
