We are thrilled with the new iroko gate which Waterhall Joinery made for us to our design. They took great care to make sure it matched our requirements and it has become a lovely feature in our small garden.

Alex did an amazing job adding room dividers and also installing a kitchen breakfast bar table. He is a true perfectionist, everything was made so neat and perfect with a lot of care and taste too. Very happy with the stylish outcome and modern approach. We now have a number of projects with Alex, eg room decorating, remodelling office space, adding shelving units as we are very pleased with his honest approach and top quality results.

Well what can I say….. this amazing company literally saved the day when my key was completely jammed in my front door and I didn’t no what to do, they was working on a house opposite and very kindly offered to help me they was amazing, offering to fit me a new lock and spending time trying to get the key out! but most of all what lovely honest guys, they come back the next day I was thinking to fit a new lock but instead they told me I didn’t need a new lock they had looked in to it and it just needed realignment and should work perfectly, and he would do it for me with no charge! As not a big job, not many honest people around these days but I can’t recommend this company enough really helped a lady in distress, friendly efficient honest reliable guys! I don’t really know where to begin with thanking John and his team for all they have done. After taking on a “project” house with my late husband, I was nervous and overwhelmed with all the work that needed to be done. Then I found John! He put my mind at rest right from the start and I knew I could trust him. He always kept me in the loop with what was going on and would explain things to me in a way I could understand! Nothing was too much trouble and John and Brandon always went above and beyond. The standard of work as you can see from the photos was second to none. You can tell that John and Brandon love what they do and care about what they are doing. Not only were John and Brandon amazing, but also the people that John provided too. Another thing that is important to mention is that John and Brandon always made sure to tidy up after themselves and leave the house clean, which hasn’t always been my experience with builders so I really appreciated that too. Forever grateful. My kids and dog are going to miss them too!

Such a professional service. I found this company on Google when looking for carpenters in my local area. I had a bannister fitted and I could not be happier with the final look. Stepan was great at communicating and getting back to me, first to come and look at what work would need to be done and then to actually book a date in. He is so talented and really took his time to ensure every piece was correctly fitted. So happy with our new bannister!

Excellent - would highly recommend! Stepan is a rare find - an honest, reasonable, hardworking, professional, experienced and knowledgeable nice guy with high standards, who owns/corrects any mistakes without any fuss. We've worked with many tradespeople through the course of our extension and renovation and we're most impressed by Lee Valley Carpentry and Joinery (my kids love him too)! We had no hesitation recommending him to my in-laws, where Stepan changed all their doors too.

I would like to say a big thank you to Stephan and his team from Lee Valley Carpentry for the amazing work they carried out on my house. They fitted nine doors, all the architraves and skirting through out. There is also a new glass staircase fitted, which is just stunning. Their finish is absolutely amazing, and they also offer aftercare for any faults spotted. He helped with ordering all the materials. His price is very reasonable, and his service is very good, very professional, and trustworthy. They are good at cleaning up after themselves, too. I highly recommend Stephan, and I will be using them for the second half of my house renovation. Thank you Stephan  for the service.

NEW REVIEW I've now also had my kitchen done through Kingfisher Building Services and it looks fab. With kitchen renovations, the unexpected always pops up and he and his team dealt with them with no problem. I don't know how, but he has made my kitchen more spacious than it was before! Highly recommend Adriel and his team. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This man WORKS. We required our partially converted garage to be made into a proper utility room/office. Sounds odd I know but needs must. Adriel and his trusty team of plumber, carpenter, and electricians etc. made this vision into a reality. I now have a lovely room. Adriel was very communicative, answered all my silly questions and no request was a problem. He truly cares about giving you the best. He was extremely reliable and always on time. If a task needed to be finished, it was finished – and to a high standard. Thanks Adriel!

It was a pleasure to work with Kingfisher Building Services on our recent renovation project. We needed a new front and back door fitted to our 1950s residential property. We supplied the wooden doors and paint and Kingfisher did all of the work to furnish, fit and paint the doors. The first thing I would say is the level of professionalism in the service we received. Kingfisher attended when they said they would and finished the job when they said they would. They provided a written quote which they kept to. The staff were polite and friendly and worked hard all day which has not always been my experience with other builders. We did hit problems due to the poor quality of the doors I purchased amongst other things. When these issues cropped up Kingfisher were good at listening to our requests and coming up with ideas for solutions. Finally the quality of the finished work was very good. For example Kingfisher applied sealer, undercoat and two coats of solvent based top coat which all needed to be planned in and given time. When one door didn’t close perfectly (due to poor design of the latch) I said I could live with it but Kingfisher insisted on refitting it so that it achieved exactly the right fit. I would recommend Kingfisher and look forward to working with them in the future.

Finding a reliable building company isn’t always an easy task. So when I came across Adriel at Kingfisher Building Services, I was impressed by his work ethic and how he gave many options when you approached him for a project to be done. I’ve used Adriel for a number of projects now and honestly I can’t fault his work at all. He has fitted a new kitchen , fulfilled plastering projects, updated lighting and recently upgraded my shower room. Nothing is too much trouble, he explains everything he is doing and keeps you updated every step of the way . I have honestly found a gem of a building company in kingfisher building services, and I will continue to use them for all future projects I’m planning.

Adriel and his team have been great from start to finish. He was very flexible and patient when delays arose (caused by us) and he and his team were reliable, punctual and professional. Mick completely renovated my very small kitchen towards the end of 2021 and I couldn't be happier with the result. Mick was very professional. He works very hard and for longer each day than I had expected and his attention to detail is fantastic. He suggested a few improvements to the initial design of my kitchen and also did some extra work which wasn't part of the initial quote. I needed my floor replaced after a leak which I wasn't aware of and Mick did an excellent job fitting Alusplash for me. Again, this was quite a last minute decision on my part but Mick was happy to help me out and fit it. This was the first time I had ever had a kitchen replaced and Mick appreciated why I was quite nervous and probably had a lot of unnecessary questions. I think anyone who has Mick for their renovations will be very happy. I will certainly be getting in touch in 2022 with a few other home improvements. Thank you Mick!!!

This is a joinery company that really know their craft. Any bespoke joinery request would not be beyond their capabilities. The owner and his staff have years and years of carpentry experience between them.

They've done many jobs for me. They seem to be very flexible and helpful. They always do work of the very highest quality, and they're an absolute pleasure to work with. We're lucky to have a company like this in Hertfordshire.
