Excellent experience after the disappointing treatment at F1 Autocentre. My MOT was carried out thoroughly and in good time. Alan, my tester, was very professional, polite, and friendly. Highly recommend the Watling test centre.

Amazing ! Nathan and Craig did a fantastic job on my car for service and Mot . I was so impressed at their work ethic and how honest they were ! I’m so used to having a long list of things that supposedly need fixing in my car , I was shocked to hear that only a few things needed to be done and they did that work quickly and very expertly . I came in first about seven years ago because quick fit in st albans damaged my vehicle during an mot and tried to charge a fortune to repair it. He gave good advice and tested my vehicle after I repaired it. I take all my vehicles and friends vehicles there for test and dont plan to ever use anyone else. It is about an hour drive from where I live. He has failed a vehicle i have taken there twice. Once because of defective tires, once because of braking efficiency due to corrosion. Both times were absolutely correct, and I would have failed them too. I have had about 15 passes and two fails there. I believe they still offer a free retest within a short period which most people dont do, (but it might change so do ask if youre worried) and they give very good advice. They make money on the mot's by charging a reasonable fee, not by failing vehicles just to get mechanic work. I cannot recommend them enough. They are excellent. But obviously dont expect them to pass it if it isnt safe, because they wont. Just very straight and honest people.

Friendly receptionist to book. Had appts that week and deal with EV for an MOT, unlike one other in village. Local and priced at near the top end for maximum MOT. (who knew MOT isn't fixed but has a maximum charge set by Govn) Efficient and no nonsense dealt with.

Great service, arrived to the MOT with a new brake light that needed fitting. Couldn’t have been more helpful, conducted the MOT fitted the new brake light, didn’t even charge any fitting! Many thanks 🙏
