MOT advisory stated nail in tyre.Took car into John Miles who removed nail instantly and checked for leaks and all at no cost! Outstanding.

Thought I had a slow puncture but turned out to be erosion on the tyre valve. Ben dealt with it efficiently. I would like to thank Ben and Matt for their quick efforts to resolve my problem. Always a delight to receive excellent customer service when visiting John Miles & Son.

Absolutely amazing service, I’m so grateful for there help. My car was recovered by these guys late at night on the side of the road. He was friendly, professional and so so helpful. My car was making a funny noise so I went to the garage and the kind men there had a look underneath and diagnosed the problem without charging me a penny, they wasn’t able to fit me in until later in the week but advised that I needed to get it booked in at another garage sooner or not drive it. They gave me a guideline of pricing so I knew how much I should be charged for it. I managed to get the problem resolved the next day and it was exactly what they had diagnosed. Really appreciated their time, kindness, and honesty. Will definitely use them again when needed.

By far the best garage around. I have used them for MOTs as well as more complex repairs and servicing. They are always very accommodating, polite, and punctual. I went for an oil and filter change and thought I might need brake pads all round. However, I didn’t need any pads at all – they were only about half worn. It’s great to know their honesty. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was good, and the price was reasonable as well. Overall, the service was excellent and more efficient than a main dealer!

Burnt Mill garage deserves 5 stars all the way. My car failed its MOT due to a faulty front door sensor. I couldn't find a local garage that could fix this, and Fiat could not get me in until December. I was unable to drive the car as MOT deemed unsafe, so I wanted this repaired as soon as possible. A friend at work recommended Burnt Mill Garage, and I am totally impressed with how I was dealt with from start to finish. They booked me in for a diagnostic and then advised the cost of the parts and repair. They explained clearly what parts needed ordering and how much it was going to cost. I picked my car up today, and the door sensor has been fixed, and they re done the MOT, which passed. So my car is now safe to drive. To anyone visiting Burnt Mill Garage for the first time, don’t get scammed by the garage next door. They lied to me and said they were connected to Burnt Mill garage. They aren’t and they over charged me, telling me they did something they couldn’t do to my van.

Popped in with a suspected wheel bearing issue, a lovely chap took me out for a test drive to try to reproduce it, When we couldn't he took me back to the garage, jacked the car up and had a good look. He found nothing untoward so sent me away and didn't charge me for it, Absolutely incredible service and a real gent to boot. I wish all garages were this genuinely helpful, honest, and straight forward. Old school cool!

Great first time experience at Gibbos Garage after a recommendation. Staff very friendly and car in working order. Will definitely use again for my service next month.

My Dad recommend this garage to me as I recently moved to the area, on Saturday my car showed a fault, I rang Gibbos and they told me to bring my car straight away and they will take a look which they did and didn't charge me at all. However I was recommended i get a service, I booked in my MOT and full service with them and on the morning I was struggling to find a cab home and some cabs were stating they couldn't collect for 2 hours. However the ladies at the desk heard this and did everything they could to get me home, without success from cabs they spoke to the manager and they got someone within there establishment to drop me home. I have never received customer service like this and was so greatful! In regards to the service I quiered if my spark plugs would be changed and instead of over charging me they were very quick to advise me that my car does not require new spark plugs untill 70k miles. As a customer i really appreciate the honesty. Furthermore, I asked about the transportation service, the lady did state that it is not avaliable on Tuesdays but asked how far I was, when I advised she advised me she will see what she can do for me. Honestly I have never been to a garage whereby the people on the desk will go above and beyond and are sooo friendly. They really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. Even offering to make their customers a coffee while they wait. Thank you for the customer service, and I will defo be using you for the future!

Car broke down on the way to Nottingham on New Years Day as I came back home to spend Christmas with family. RAC took my car to this garage and they were amazing, so friendly and professional. I have kidney failure and on dialysis and I explained all my stuff is in Nottingham so I need to get back there ASAP as I am on limited supply. They prioritised my car and although I had to wait for parts which is completely fair, they finished it promptly. They even got someone to pick me up to go and collect my car as I couldn't get there myself. Definitely recommend, super friendly receptionists/mechanics and they were super super helpful in my stressful situation. Cannot thank you all enough! Thanks, Jazmin
