Lovely use of the 1920s old coach waiting room in the centre of Sandwich. Clever use of glass doors all around make the place feel a lot bigger than it is. Friendly guys behind the bar with a couple of beers on tap, good cocktail menu, and lots of sweet treats to dive into as well.
Popped over to drop the bike into a service into Locks for a service and stumbled across this establishment after refusing to go into Costa. Fantastic Tuna and Onion toasted baguette with a Mocha. Love the decor, the Burlington toilet is a modern take on an original design and love the character. Very comfortable and a great place to let the world go by and people watch.
Stumbled across this late one night when staying in Sandwich and decided to try it out for breakfast the next morning. Had coffee and bacon/sausage baguettes. All really tasty. Very friendly staff. Great use of the old bus waiting time. Really nicely decorated. Went back couple of days later for more coffees and ginger Cake, again all really good 😋
This quintessential little place is a must on a journey into Sandwich. A busy hub selling fresh grounded coffee, which is their own brand, I may add, to small bites and a food menu that really tackles your taste buds. With staff that welcome you with a smile, what isn't there to like about this amazing business? Located opposite the Guildhall, you can literally get off a bus and walk straight in. Failing that, it's a short 5-10 minute walk from Sandwich train station.
