3rd visit over the course of 8 weeks. Excellent service and fantastic with my Mum who is in a wheelchair. Working through the menu - not found anything to fault. All good value for money.

What a gem! I popped in for breakfast. Absolutely spotless, superb food - no cheap ingredients - big mug of lovely coffee, table service. All at unbelievable prices. Coffee/tea and toast/bread included in the price. All this for £5.95!! 👌

Visited numerous times and always received great service, generous portions, value for money and complete quality! Well established local cafe with a great menu, lots to choose from and all made with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended to anyone, it's very central and has a large seating area! ☆☆☆☆☆

Probably the best food cafe in Gravesend. Fantastic food at great prices. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, they have something tasty for you. I eat there regularly and will probably be eating there more after this amazing mixed grill.

Black pudding and Bubble were nice, very good brekkie over all. Good coffee. £7.20 for my choice of breakfast which came with coffee+ toast. Decent amount to fill you up. Staff nice and polite. Would deffo recommend.

Delicious hot food for a great price and there's so many options on the menu! The staff are very cheerful and kind which is always a plus. There's plenty of seating with condiments on hand depending on what you like. It's a really good local Café! 🍳🥓

We had a great brunch at Perry cafe! If you feel hungry stop by and definitely try the sunshine breakfast plate. Portion is huge, food is delicious, fresh and very well cooked!

First time here with new menu, booked a table foe early breakfast, was very quiet at first then packed out, staff are so nice. Any meal set can add to it, food was fresh, filling and really nice, definitely going back again

My wife and I absolutely love this place!! Been going here for quite a few years now, always had a great service and even better food! My honest opinion, this is the place to get the best burger. We travel 30 mins to visit here rather than going anywhere closer to home! I'm also glad that they have stuck to doing what they do best and remained the same albeit with slight menu improvements. Great atmosphere with the decor and music. We will always choose small independent businesses over the big chains, so this is our go to place as you'll guarantee a decent meal at a good price!

It was our first visit to Hot Rod diner and it certainly won't be our last. We've wanted to try American pancakes for so long and finally got to have them. The food tasted delicious and was presented beautifully, The Milkshakes are the best we've ever had! it really felt like we had stepped back in time to the 1950's. We highly recommend this lovely hidden gem.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better bacon sandwich in town. I was really tempted by their enormous homemade sausage rolls too - they're packed full and look great. Really good cup of coffee too, from a proper espresso machine served in a lovely earthenware mug. But the best thing of all is Chrystal herself, or Faye. Her and her partner are so welcoming, friendly and willing to chat with their customers. You can see they get on well with all the other stallholders which makes for a lovely community feel in the market. I'll be going back regularly.

Great food!! Great atmosphere!! The staff at Chrystal's are brilliant, friendly helpful and brilliant! Great selection of food and cakes. (Shame I missed the Empire biscuits!) There Philly cheese steaks are also 2nd to none!! 😍 The breakfast was hot, delicious and served quickly but cooked fresh to order!! Best Scottish food this side of the border!!

Went with all the family for the breakfast with Father Christmas on Saturday 14th December and it was excellent. The staff were so helpful and friendly and Father Christmas was amazing! The food was also excellent. We came last year and will definitely come again. Thank you!

I went there as part of a large group, and, despite the fact that we were eating at their busiest time, the staff were amazing. Being a large group we had pre-ordered our choices (a very good idea, as it turned out), so started, desserts and alternatives to the seasonal carvery were ready in good time. The food was delicious, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly or efficient. We go there on other occasions, too, and the welcome, service, and delicious food is always there. Thank you to the manager, front of house team, chef and kitchen crew. We probably won’t get in this side of Christmas (I suspect you are fully booked), so have a wonderful Christmas!

Fairly quiet so ordered service was great. Had the choice of seats and enjoyed my toasties and latte. Toilets were clean, single unit so mixed use. I walked in but plenty of parking but a 90 minutes time limit. Plenty really.

What can I say that probably hasn't already been said a thousand times before. As you can see the portion is massive. The food is tasty. The service is very polite and quick. The only downside is its incredibly busy. But that's what you get when somewhere is good right! I'm not going to knock them because of it. It's not their fault. But actually it kind of is because it's a lovely cafe. Will definitely go again. Thank you golden grill.

After going to a wedding, and staying in an expensive hotel, we came across this cafe on our way home back towards ashford, to find it was so retro, it was stunning. Very reasonably priced and the staff were absolutely fabulous, we were greeted with a smile and a hello and the service was very prompt, meals were hot, the bread was fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. A great big thank you for taking us back to our childhood.

Amazing find and highly recommended. We were met with a genuine, friendly and warm welcome by the owner and team. Good selection of tasty food at a very reasonable price. We had breakfasts and thoroughly enjoyed them. Nice to be served tea in a big mug too. We will stop by again when we're in the area.

A decent traditional, British cafe. Fair prices, and a good range of meals available. Friendly staff. I had a regular breakfast. The sausage was especially good for a regular cafe.

Having been to cafes all round the country, I am yet to find one as good as this! Their bubble is second to none. Prices are good and portions perfect.

Bought 2 chocolate muffins and a rhubarb crumble muffin absolutely delicious. defo worth the price I'll be going back there again. roll on pay day the lady who served us very polite and quick service

First time I'd been in here for several years but had an appt at Boots opticians at midday so needed a drink and lunch after. This was more or less opposite and the ideal place. Lovely selection of sandwiches/toasties etc. Staff very pleasant and excellent service. Will be visiting again thanks.
