Situated in the historic market of Gravesend, this establishment offers the ideal setting to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee with your family and friends. As you make your way to the counter, you will be enticed by a tasty selection of cakes. The service provided is warm and inviting, ensuring a pleasant experience for all.
Their “mega scottish breakfast” is a “full english breakfast” with a twist, one of the best breakfasts in town. Location is the indoor market hall, which is more noisy than your regular cafe, with cheesy music playing in the background.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better bacon sandwich in town. I was really tempted by their enormous homemade sausage rolls too - they're packed full and look great. Really good cup of coffee too, from a proper espresso machine served in a lovely earthenware mug. But the best thing of all is Chrystal herself, or Faye. Her and her partner are so welcoming, friendly and willing to chat with their customers. You can see they get on well with all the other stallholders which makes for a lovely community feel in the market. I'll be going back regularly.
Great food!! Great atmosphere!! The staff at Chrystal's are brilliant, friendly helpful and brilliant! Great selection of food and cakes. (Shame I missed the Empire biscuits!) There Philly cheese steaks are also 2nd to none!! 😍 The breakfast was hot, delicious and served quickly but cooked fresh to order!! Best Scottish food this side of the border!!
The large Scottish Breakfast was like a little taste of heaven. Quality products with a home cooked feel.
