Booked Sunday lunch after a referral from family. 10/10, food, service and atmosphere all brilliant. We were too full ti try out the puddings but those being brought out to other diners looked delicious. The decor inside is excellent. We shall definitely be back.
Came to do some work on site today... This place is stunningly beautiful! The type of place that just brings a wow when you experience it for the first time. I never ate here but the amazing dining room looks a great place for a meal. Very friendly staff, Lovely and clean throughout with many letting rooms. Lisa is the general manager here at the Devonshire arms (Bakewell) and a very hospitable host. My compliments to her and the staff on this unique and really beautiful looking venue.
Nice lunch out after a visit to Chatsworth! Food was comforting and tasty, especially the lamb duo and the pork belly bites (but the chicken burger was underwhelming!) though a little bit overpriced Slow service - understaffed perhaps ? - but we were very attended by Ruby, who was very warm and thoughtful!
We were staying on the caravan site at Chatsworth and walked to the pub to be welcomed warmly by the bar staff and was made up to see they had Timothy Taylor's ale on draught. One of my favourites. Cannot comment on food but menu looked good and atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable to sit in .
