So happy I found this place, it is a hidden gem! I have come here on two seperate occasions, one to get my hair done and the other time for laser hair removal. Lovely warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. I was offered a hot or cold drink on arrival and during my treatment. Wax - My hollywood wax was quick and I was made to feel very comfortable, leaving a clean, smooth, hair free zone. Wash and cut - The hair stylist made sure he knew exactly what result I was going for, not to mention the relaxing hair and scalp wash. I was very satisfied with the wash and cut, as well as the hollywood wax. I will definitely be returning for my regular hair trims and treatments, as well as my wax.

My appointment was at 10am, which is the time that they were supposed to open. I arrived 5 minutes early, they were already open and the man working at the front desk let me in, so that I wouldn’t have to wait in cold. He offered me refreshments whilst Alex was getting ready for my appointment. After few short minutes, she came and took me to the consultation room, where we went through the details of the procedure, she wanted to make sure that I have all of the information available. The procedure that I went for is microneedling. I had done great amount of research prior my appointment, but nevertheless it was very professional and kind of her to make sure that I have all the information available. Then it was time to begin the treatment. She cleaned my face thoroughly and used an antiseptic spray on my skin, to avoid any bacteria getting into my skin and causing breakouts. To minimise the pain that microneedling causes, she used a numbing cream, which took about 10 minutes to start working, during that time I filled in the paperwork. Before she started microneedling, she showed me the fresh needle head in the package and put it on the appliance in front of my eyes. She also explained that she has the newer version of the appliance, which has smaller needels than the previous one and that causes less pain during the treatment and reduces the risk of scarring. She used different settings on my skin, depending on the thickness of the skin and of the acne scarring on my face and neck. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the treatment. Afterwards she used a cream to protect my skin and to reduce the feeling of discomfort. She gave me a little bit of the cream to take home in case the feeling of discomfort did not improve and told me that I could call her any time in case I have any concerns. She explained that the treatment could push out acne that was hiding inside or liquid could come from the skin cells, which is completely normal, and not to worry about such things. She told me that I could see results within 2 months time, but to really see results I would have to get at least 3 treatments and the first time I could get the treatment is in 6 weeks time. I would absolutely recommend Alex to anyone. She was a very friendly and lovely person, who made sure that I had all the information available, she made me very comfortable during the procedure and reassured me after the treatment. The salon itself was very clean and nice looking.
