This was the first time Alice cut my hair and I was extremely happy. I explained to Alice what I wasn’t happy about with my current hair and she just knew what to do. She did a restyle, took her time and now after a lot of years of not getting the results I wanted I finally did. Alice is a natural hairdresser who is creative and talented. Alice is also a lovely lady who is really welcoming, professional and friendly and made my son feel comfortable too. I would highly recommend Alice, I will certainly be sticking with her and will get colour done too.

I have wanted to have my hair done balayage for the longest time now and of course couldn’t think of anyone better or more qualified and trusting to do it. Alice I know had recently trained on a specific balayage course and therefore it was a no brainer! Her attention to detail is incredible. She worked with me to understand exactly the look I was going for and was so professional, making sure I was aware it would take more than one sitting which I’m sure many other hairdressers would not. I am literally obsessed with my hair. The colour and blend of tones is just beautiful and is exactly what I was looking for. I am so in love with it that I am now wanting even more colour put in! I had a wet cut with Lauren today, it was great and an amazing price too. I paid £33 and that included a hair wash with a short scalp massage. I would definitely come here again.

The thing I love the most about having my hair done by Nicki, is that she always gives good advice about my hair. Nicki always gives a warm welcome and the friendly chat makes the entire experience enjoyable, not to mention the magic she performs with my hair. Both Nicki and the lovely receptionist are true assets to the salon.

After an absolute disaster of a hair cut by another hair dresser, Angie came to my rescue. I went in with a bob/mullet that was cut so uneven, you could not make heads or tails out of what had happened. She moved a client for me and opened her salon late to help save my hair. The colour is amazing, so natural and although my hair is very much a work in progress now, I can at least have it hanging loose and not hidden away in a bun. She's worth every penny and I can't wait to see what my hair will eventually grow back to look like in a year or so, under her care and expertise. Thank you! x

I had my first sugaring experience with Susie, and was very apprehensive and Susie was amazing, and very kind and patient with me, and it was really good and much better than any previous hair removal experiences. I can highly recommend Saraha Beauty Studio, I came here to try sugaring - an alternative to waxing for the first time. I can honestly say that It was the best decision I have made. Sugaring is so much kinder to my skin, and hurts less and I have noticed the results lasting a lot longer than waxing! I also booked in for a facial, and met the lovely Sally, who made me feel comfortable right from the beginning, I received a lovely facial, left my skin feeling gorgeous and glowing! I know I will be back for many more treatments. Highly recommended!

I have been treated by Susie for 17 years and just recently I had some sugaring done by Sally. I was anxious to begin with as I’ve been used to the same therapist and standards for such a long time but after explaining my worries, I was quickly put at ease. More time was booked out for my treatment so Sally could get to know me and my hair growth so there was a lot of thought put in, to cater for my needs. I cannot put into words how impressed I was. I have such a strong hair growth, and after a significant period of not coming into the salon, I couldn't believe how swift and precise the treatment was. It pain free, no redness and not a hair in sight! I have since booked in again and was equally impressed. She will now be my regular therapist and I cannot recommend her work and professionalism enough!

I have been going to the Beauty Retreat for many, many years. Both when it was in Nutfield and now that it is Caterham. Whatever Sam does be it a facial, massage, pedicure or manicure it is always so relaxing and calming. She is always so welcoming, keen to learn new procedures and it is a pleasure to spend time there. I certainly would never go anywhere else for beauty treatments.

I have been going to Sam for a variety of treatments at her salon the Beauty Retreat in Nutfield for several years. She has created the same inviting, relaxing environment at her salon at her new address in Caterham. It is a testament to her extensive skills that many of her clients have followed her. She is friendly and professional; going out of her way to make you feel at ease as soon as you walk in. Her aromatherapy massages are the best I have ever had. I have also had her facial and foot reflexology, Indian head massage and pedicures. Her range of services is broad, and she is always adding to them to enhance the experience for her clients. I have no hesitation in highly recommending her services at the Beauty Retreat Caterham to anyone who wants a real treat at very reasonable prices.

My first visit to Blush. I popped in to book a dry cut and Vicky was able to fit me in there and then. She listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions. A good cut at a reasonable price, I left feeling far more glamorous than when I arrived!

Had my first visit to Blush and wanted a new look. Vicky looked at my ideas, told me what would work and look good and then explained what she was doing at each stage. Hair feels so good and happy with my new style, will definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful experience this afternoon at Blush. I booked for my three daughters to have their hair cut. Vicky was warm and welcoming. The girls had the best time, they was offered squash and biscuits and Vicky blasted out some Disney song requests as well. They each had lovely hair cuts for a very reasonable price, and they can't wait to come back. I was given advice on how to best care for their hair and tips on how to use a diffuser on my eldest's curly hair too. We will definitely be back.

Having many previous experiences of Hair Stylists complaining about cutting my very thick hair, I was nervous, but knew that I needed a professional cut this time. After seeing such good reviews, I booked an appointment and was pleasantly surprised at the care and attention given calming all my fears. A very decent haircut and styling afterwards was a treat. Will definitely go back.

I went in feeling a mess (been over a year since m last haircut) and came out feeling fabulous. The whole experience was wonderful - hair washed without using overpowering scented shampoo and conditioner, brushed carefully (I have very long hair), given a fantastic blunt cut, and ended with a light blow dry. I absolutely love the cut I was given and my hair looks refreshed and is incredibly shiny. Despite there being another customer in the establishment, I felt like I was the only person there; calm and peaceful environment in which to relax and get this wonderful treatment. The price was great too. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I cannot recommend highly enough and shall definitely be returning (within the next couple of months, and not waiting a year!) A real hidden gem in Caterham. 💎

I've been seeing Stacie at Curl Up and Dye now for about 4 months and I can honestly say she is an absolutely amazing hairdresser! I first met her after she had been highly recommended via friends...I went for quite a dramatic long to short cut and she knew exactly what to do and what would work best working with the style I wanted to go for! Every since she has cut my hair to PERFECTION every single time! I'm super fussy when it comes to detail so for me to leave somewhere 100% happy speaks volumes! On top of being fantastically talented Stacie is a lovely lady and an absolute pleasure to talk to whilst having your hair done, aswell as giving really good advice for how to style and look after your hair yourself which has been really helpful! The salon itself is really nice, lovely interior, great staff, really easy parking right outside and they are flexible when trying to get appointments! Highly, highly recommend! I visited trish for consultation it was for the hair on the top of my lip and chin i wasn't sure what one would be best but after a great consultation she advised me that the electrolysis would be my best option. She really knows her stuff and would recommend anyone to visit her for this type of treatment. Can't wait to see her again 😊

The room was spotless and the equipment looked state of the art. Trish was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, she answered all the questions I had and made me feel relaxed about the process. I had my first Japanese head spa experience with Millie today, and it was fantastic. Millie was excellent throughout the treatment. Her massage pressure was firm, and it was clear she takes great pride in her work and genuinely enjoys what she does. She prioritised my comfort, ensuring I was nice and warm during the session. She also asked me if I’d like it if she explained each step of the process, which I said yes to. It’s not often you’re asked this so I really appreciated it. The whole experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. She was thorough and attentive to every detail. I highly recommend her and the Japanese head spa treatment.

I love go to Dtail. I’m really lucky as a vegan to have a lot of choice in Caterham, but Amber is my stylist and I don’t think I could anywhere else now. She’s so friendly and always makes me feel relaxed and special.

I went to Dtail for 10 years before I moved away from the area. Simon always did a wonderful job on my hair and has developed a technique for very natural-looking highlights. You can also count on Simon for a good conversation - frankly, when it comes to hairdresser chat he's in a league of his own.

Dtail salon has a lovely friendly atmosphere. It is always easy to make an appointment by phone and all the staff are welcoming and helpful. Daniel gave me my first ever short pixi hair cut, from having had very long hair for most of my life. She really took the time and the care to talk with me before hand to understand how I would like my hair to be done. Daniel is so well experienced and gives an amazing hair cut. So many people have complimented me on how good it looks. She is very warm and personable and puts you completely at ease. Visiting for a trim is always a pleasure and something I look forward to.
