I have been having my hair cut and coloured at the Root since it first opened. I am so glad that I decided to give a new salon a chance - my hair has never been better styled, and my colour looks completely natural ( which is what I was after and very hard to do with red hair!) Sarah is incredibly professional and welcoming. Would fully recommend to anyone

Clare has been doing my hair for a good 3 years now, and after a few very bad hair experiences elsewhere I was so happy to find someone I felt comfortable going to, knowing she will do a great job. Every time I visit the salon I always ask for the tiniest trim and despite Clare saying it needs more off to keep it healthy she is so understanding and ends up cutting just a millimetre off. I finally took the plunge recently and let Clare get scissor-happy! My short hair feels amazing and I've had so many complements - I guess I should have let Clare do this sooner like she suggested!! The Root Salon is such a relaxing place with lovely, friendly staff and always a good cup of coffee!

Claire has been doing my hair for years and I’ve never had a bad cut. She’s really takes the time to listen to want I’d like, but also relaxed enough to give her own input into what may also work. The Root Salon is a lovely, relaxed environment to visit, Sarah and Claire are always friendly and professional.

Sarah put a lot of time and effort into my appointment. She did a fantastic job on colour correcting a botched job I had at a previous salon. The salon is lovely and the treatments have a holistic vibe behind them. I couldn't recommend the root more!

I booked an appointment with Sarah, and I’m so pleased!! I chanced upon her salon, walked in and it was so very peaceful, and smelled divine! I’m from the U.S. visiting and getting married here, and brought my color formula from home, a little stressed about it being matched and looking the same. She did an amazing job and it was truly the most relaxing salon experience, I was pampered and felt so refreshed when I left. Well done Sarah, and I highly recommend Root, absolutely love my hair!
