Lovely, bright salon. I had a warm welcome from reception - my coat was hung up and refreshments were offered and waiting for me after my hair wash. Tania was brilliant. We had a pre-cut consultation and she understood straight away what was needed to give my hair more shape. She executed a fantastic cut and blow dry. I will definitely book with Tania for my next cut and highly recommend Tania and the salon.

I found this salon through google with their highly rated reviews so I decided to give it a go and it definitely did not disappoint me at all! This was my first time in the hair movement and I could not recommend enough how lovely my experience was with the stylist - Josh. He was very welcoming and helpful, making sure what was best for my hair and I could not recommend him enough! He clearly understood what my needs were and explained to me step by step how I could achieve my dream hair in the consultation before getting my hair done - and after showing him inspiration photos, he managed to perfect my ideal hair colour and went above and beyond during each step of my hair process, taking time and precision into consideration. Thank you for such a lovely experience in this salon and will now be my go-to salon for hair appointments! ❤️

Kim is always welcoming, listens to what you say and will deliver the best results for you. This time I've changed totally the length of my hair and I couldn't be Every time I have an appointment from the moment I go in I'm welcomed with a smile a kind word ,always offering a drink and making sure you are relaxed. I can't say anything about Kim she goes above and beyond. She's a wonderful person apart from professional. She's the reason after nearly 10 years of not having a permanent hairdresser now coming back always to The Hair Movement. Fantastic service excellent vibes will always recommend it xx

After years of attempting to find the perfect salon, I have finally found one. You are welcomed with friendly faces and the hair stylist sits down with you and discusses your requirements and actually listens to you. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and it feels incredibly high-end. I booked an appointment with Lucy and all throughout the session, she asked me at every step if I found everything to be satisfactory. She also suggested styling tips for maintenance. You are offered a lovely menu of teas, coffees, hot chocolates, and cookies (including gluten free ones!). Finally, the prices are beyond reasonable for the quality of service you receive. I will definitely be visiting again!

I'm so pleased I found this salon, they all make me feel so welcome, comfortable and able to be myself. And I'm quirky. I'm non-binary and I like to think they do their best to remember that. I feel comfortable as a non-binary person here put it that way. Amy is amazing, non judgemental as is everyone else but Amy is my colourist/member of the team I see for my appointments and she's honest, friendly, professional and polite. Easy to talk to. I recommend this salon. It's not surprising they got 5 star immaculate reviews.
