This place is round the corner from my friend and I've been a good few times now, the food is always really delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially through the back. The decor in the back is really well done and makes me feel like I'm at home, Vita and Luigi are both friendly and make you feel like you've been going in for years and best of all the food is very fairly priced. I Highly recommend this place to anyone who's passing through or lives in Leeds. 5 stars all round.

Unbelievably tasteful breakfast. We tried the Eggs Royal & it tasted so soooo FRESH from the sauce to the toasted muffin and everything in between. This cafe is a hidden gem driven past it a million times so pleased to have popped in today.

The chef and barista here works magic and I can't thank everyone at Dolce Vita enough for the amazing experience everytime I visit. I'd say wish I could try it for the first time all over again but every time feels like the first time again with the high quality service and wonderful presentation of delicious food. There is always a warm and friendly atmosphere. I recommend Dolce Vita to everyone. Their sandwiches, wraps, pasta, pitta, drinks, desserts, everything is amazing âșïž

Having driven past this quirky coffee shop many times on my visits to Leeds I was delighted to be able to visit (finally!) and was not disappointed . The service was friendly and quick. It is obviously very popular. My coffee and pain au raisin were both delicious. We were able to park around the corner . The decor is fun I hope to visit again soon.

Came here for an almond croissant, but unfortunately they'd run out by the time we got there (~11am Saturday). Instead we got a regular croissant and a pan au chocolate. Both were lovely. We took them to-go. Next time we will arrive earlier and try for the almond croissant again (I'm on a quest to find my favourite almond croissant), and we need to try the coffee, too!

Always 10/10 coffee and bagels. The vegan pastrami is unreal and so are their chai lattes. The only reason I gave 1 less star for service is because they take a while on the bagels but honestly itâs so so worth the wait. We also got hot honey hash browns which were amazing too.
Rating: 4 / 5
Fika North coffee is a great spot in the Headingley area. The coffees and bagels are delicious and expertly made. The only issue is the limited space inside, which can make it challenging to find a free table, especially on weekends!

A full-of-character cafe in central Leeds. Looks tiny from the outside, but thereâs more room upstairs. Laptops are not allowed, so best to go there with a friend or a book.
Rating: 5 / 5
As cool as a frozen artisan Dutch oven. Kapow has a vibe like no other, if you were to exclude comic stores. Its staff are first class baristas. I was lucky enough to bear witness to the craft of latte art while I waited. The attention to detail the barista displayed, even for a perfectionist like me, made me grin like a cat that got the cream. Kapow coffee is situated in an arcade, much like my favourite Brum coffee shop Faculty. It has 3 floors, well 2 if you exclude the barbers on the top floor. It sells quality merchandise. It serves awesome, artisanal coffee. It⊠needs coffee enthusiasts like you to go check it out. Trust me when I say, itâs more super than Supermanâs socks.
Rating: 5 / 5
The staff knows their coffee well if you love speciality coffee. They will provide professional advice on cupping. I only visited Leeds for two days and already went to the shop twice for beans, pour over and batch! Not to mention itâs uncommon to have barista providing pour over in the UK.

Little hidden gem tucked away at the rear of LifeCycles. Great coffee, wide variety of cakes and even craft beer. Friendly staff too.
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely café serving great selection of cakes, including free from cakes for people like me that taste delicious. Great selection of lose leaf teas too and much much more! Had a gorgeous lunch and great service. Perfect for cyclists passing by or even to get a few hours work done (like me) during the quieter hours of the week.
Rating: 5 / 5
Highly recommended - cyclist friendly cafe within really nicely decored bike shop and the drinks and snacks are top notch - I had the Bakewell tart and it was perfect - even better than the ones from bakewell :)

Great coffee here and lovely selection of pastries although I haven't tried the pastries. They look amazing. I have tried flat while and it's a good flat white. They use good beans. Good seating area as well

Barista was super friendly and made sure I left the cafe loving my coffee
Rating: 4 / 5
A really lovely coffee shop thatâs easy to miss in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. As a keen frequenter of coffee shops in Leeds for the past few years, last week was the first I had heard of it, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the granola bowl (delicious and fab amount for ÂŁ6.50) and a latte :) the workers were warm and friendly - overall, great experience! I hope to try one of the lunches next time :)

Arrived, Leeds is a mission and half to drive to over Xmas. Breakfast with extra egg, amazing did look at the pancakes, but I'm having something like that for the dessert or sweet. Upstairs was packed. Will book a reservation in future. Spiced chocolate cake? I think.p

Breakfast was really nice! I had the french toast and it was delicious, the orange mascarpone made it very refreshing so it wasn't too sweet. The portion size was also huge. We also had the breakfast brioche, again very delicious but definitely recommend it with added bacon.
Rating: 5 / 5
The food is fabulous, highly recommend the Turkish eggs and also the pastries. I would suggest asking for some of the pastries to be heated like spinach & feta or the chocolate, hazelnut and pear (they won't offer but will do upon request). Coffee is great, and service is rapid meaning you can stop before your train. Booking looks advisable as always busy.

Incredible place! I wish I had a better photo of how it arrived! Honestly one of the best English breakfasts I have ever had. It is difficult to elevate a fry, but they managed. Mushroom with lemon and thyme, homemade beans, perfect poached eggs, great coffee. Seriously impressive place. Everyone else was really happy with the food as well. Service was fast and kind.

I had organised a meal for 17 people aged from 3 years to 80 years. The communication from the staff was brilliant from the beginning. On the evening nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the menu options are fab. Need to note that the gluten free menu has so many options which you don't often see. I would certainly hold a celebration meal here again. Thank you!

Came here for brunch with a friend. Quaint little spot located in Wakefield. We ordered goat cheese starters with homemade sandwiches and chunky chips. Food was deliciously and good size portions. Sandwiches could be served on a selection of breads. We sat in the outside annex which was super lovely. What topped the experience for me was the incredible service from a lovely lady called Debbie. Nothing was too much trouble. She definitely made our experience - she is a credit to the team.

We parked on Caroline Street for ÂŁ1.50 per hour (able to extend on RingGo app). Queue for food was quite long but we got in early at 11:30 which seemed to beat the queue. Pizzas were amazing! There is another cafe on level 3 if you want to skip the long queue. Exhibits were nice and the activities in the Peace Museum upstairs were great. Only suggestion to management is have some signage for prams/wheelchairs. Accessibility at the two entrances/exits we saw were none existent.
Rating: 5 / 5
We had a fabulous afternoon visiting Salts Mill! We heard that David Hockney had a flowers in print exhibition and couldnât wait to take a look. We had visited the Media museum earlier in the day, so saw some of his artistic talents through his 4 seasons videos filmed through 9 cameras. The mill had 3 floors of interesting arts, plenty of areas to eat and drink and a wonderful book store! Thereâs plenty of David Hockney related things to peruse/buy! We also watched a video of the history of Salts Mill which was fascinating!
Rating: 5 / 5
Itâs always good to take a friend from other areas to visit places you enjoy and find they like them too. Salts mill and Saltaire is such an unusual place combining history via art ( through Hockney) and industrial skills - the mill itself and the town of Saltaire. The town has a character modern towns usually lack and the mill shows industrial heritage where money talked and could be good for the workers. Pity more entrepreneurs donât build new towns around their dream developments!! We enjoyed the art, the spaces within the mill (which is huge) including the cafe and book shops. We saw some video footage of how the mill started but didnât see it all. Think we should return to learn more. Cafe - we had to wait a while but it was ok and the lunch was fine-tasty and reasonable. Take time, donât rush and think about the original workers but also the dedication of Jonathan Silver who so valued this place and ensured it became a valued place in industrial history.
Rating: 5 / 5
A fabulous place to visit; the building is home to art, food, craft, history and more. Any Hockney fans will have a wonderful time and there are many other artists to appreciate. Plentiful parking, good range of food options. Plentiful free parking and access via public transport is easy. Highly recommended and I will be back!

We had a good meal here on a busy Saturday. We managed to get in for a table of four after the afternoon rush. We waited a little while for drinks to arrive, but the food came pretty quickly after that. We had a good mix of dishes between us from the crispy duck salad, pancakes, steak and eggs and a chicken burger. We all really enjoyed our food and thought the price was pretty reasonable too.
Rating: 4 / 5
Really nice food at a reasonably good price, also good service on the whole. The table felt a little cramped for 2, and the atmosphere could have been better, but on the whole, it's very good and I will certainly come back here again.

Beautiful building and decor, fab servers and fantastic breakfasts. I had the garden plate - every mouthful was delicious, Mick had the big brunch which was equally scrumptious. Our first visit but weâll definitely return to a Bills if thereâs one nearby.

We had went to Mrs Atha's for breakfast, we were visiting Leeds from Nottingham. The food was so good, when I go back to Leeds will definitely return and will recommend to friends and family. Lovely food on the menu lots to choose from. The drinks we chose english breakfast tea and it was tea leaves it was so nice such a difference to using bags. Nice quite little restaurant đ đ

My go-to independent cafe in Leeds. We got the sweet and savoury pancakes which were both delish. Highly recommend this place, the manager/owner is always lovely and a laugh.

My favourite spot for coffee and breakfast. Always of a high quality. I think it has the nicest decor compared to any other cafe in city center. Its lowly lit and relaxing. It's priced quite cheap for what it is. No frills, but friendly service which is perfect for me. This isnt America!
