Wonderful, wonderful place. Very much recommend a visit. Had wonderful tea in the cafe with staff who could not do more to help. The guy in the garden centre was so friendly and chatty, but Adam who took us around the house, was the icing on the cake and really made mums (&mine) day. We felt like friends being given a tour of a family home and I was half expecting him to offer to put the kettle on it was so friendly. I also got to meet and make friends with their puppy. Not many places where you’ll get that level of attention

Took myself here today for the first time...weather was poor...but what an amazing find...walked round the quirky gardens, saw the new love locks in place, had a coffee in the cafe where I was privileged to meet Emma the owner...all the staff were delightful...one of the new members of staff even carried a garden planter back to my car as I have a shoulder injury...I highly recommend here , will return and have already told friends...it felt almost magical...

A gem hidden away in the Peak District. Lots of children's activities and a play ground . Lots of exploring to do . Ideal for the kids . Lovely house and gardens well presented and clean . Staff in cafe and garden center are friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking .

I loved our visit to the Thornbridge estate. As a keen gardener and first year allotment holder, I was inspired by the planting in the gardens. The different 'rooms', each with their own style were all a delight. I especially like the garden where vegetables and flowers were all planted together - and the bean arch! The staff were all very welcoming and the cafe was fab. On our next visit we'll tour the house. It was definitely worth the long journey over from Nottingham. Thank you.
