I have been to Katana Spalding some ( long ) time ago but apart of the interior not much changed. The food is delicious, service at top level and also entertaining as I booked a Teppanyaki table this time, it's clean everywhere even the toilets. I think Katana could benefit from playing Japanese music which I personally would appreciate. It is a bit cold inside but nothing that could make you shiver. Overall, it was a pleasure to eat, observe food being made and having a little chit chat too.

I can honestly say that I had no faults with the food, restaurant or staff when dining here. We did get there a little early so we were the only ones at the restaurant, but that was nice. The waiter (Sam) was attentive, friendly and there when you needed him. We had a range of different foods from noodles, curry to sushi and all of it was amazing. The food was cooked wonderfully and the flavours were superb. The decor is on theme, there's plenty of space to sit and the restaurant was clean tidy and ready for guests. I will be going back again soon.

Took the wife here for a birthday she thoroughly enjoyed it. The presentation and standard of food was very high.

This was the first time that I had heard of The Crystal inn! I have been living in the area for 8 years and went due to it being the venue for our Christmas meal. I was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the food portions are perfect and the atmosphere was fantastic. I will definitely be making a return to this restaurant with my family as I know that they will be loving it too. The prices were also very reasonable, we each had a budget of £60, with this, I also got a fair few whiskeys!!!

50th birthday party for eight. Great table and decorated prior to arrival. Service was superb and courses came at reasonable intervals,.

We had brunch in Petalo Lounge and had a really good experience. The service and decor is fantastic, and there is a wide menu with lots of vegetarian options. The brunch meals we ordered were both delicious with generous portions, and the fresh juice and coffee were also of high quality. I was also very tempted by the tapas/burgers/sandwich menus - lots to try on future visits!

Lovely place, love the decor. Second visit, first time staff couldn't find our table to deliver food ☹️ Today I was served my food and my friend was left waiting for her meal. Luckily mine was a cold option, would have liked to be served at the same time. Nice friendly staff.

My wife and I, popped in 2/12 to find out what this new option would be like whilst waiting for our Bus home. We had a very good experience. Service excellent Food very good, the soup was amazing Price very good We were attended to by Richard who was superb. They were very busy, it was 12:00 noon, but nothing was a problem. The Ladies who brought our food were also, great examples of how to treat/care for Customers. My only criticism would be, that it was a little on the dark side lighting wise.🤫

The burger was delicious, and the service was fast, I will come back to have a food, I ordered a Biscoff Banoffe Milkshake at the end, and it was awful. First, there was a lot of ice, so much that I was sucking up crushed ice through the straw. The flavor was very weak. I asked for a new one without ice to take away, and I got the milkshake in a coffee cup for takeaway. The taste was very bad, artificial, and watery. It felt like just milk was poured in with a pump of syrup. This is not how a milkshake should be made. The name said 'milkshake,' not 'watery ice.' Is this how milkshakes are served?

Not quite five stars as they don’t do skinless Haddock - only Cod. However, the bread roll was fresh (and actually comes with real butter not cheap margarine). The soft drinks come from a dispenser and this is why one foolish reviewer below commented you’re unable to pour them yourselves - of course you’re not able to, just as you’re not able to pour your own Pint in a Pub! The food was cooked fresh, hot and well presented. Portions were reasonable (but I’m not an overweight north eastern bred person) so this was ideal. Prices were on the higher side, but the place has had a recent refurbishment and attentive staff so this made it good value overall. Well worth the trip to.

Fantastic Fish and Chips every time. Sat upstairs in the restaurant next to the window. Great tasting food cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Definitely recommend. Bread rolls are from the bakery nextdoor.

Best fish chips and mushy peas I've had in years.i would recommend this place without hesitation

I'm not a local, but whenever I'm in the area I make a beeline for Turner's! Fantastic battered plaice fillet with chips and mushy peas, a bread roll and a cuppa tea. The fish was fresh, hot and very tasty with nicely browned chips and sweet mushy peas. A lovely soft roll with butter made for a lovely chip butty. Good portion size, plenty for a normal appetite. A fresh brew to wash it down. Very clean inside and attentive service. The carrot cake was also delicious. Yum yum 😋

Lovely home cooked food. Strikes me as a place that has fallen on hard times. It was great to have mezze and their delicious lamb stew.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is very central to access everywhere on foot. It is a bit perplexing finding out how to access the parking and you may need to park up in a car park to go in on foot to find out. It was worth the effort though. Our 2 dogs were welcomed to stay. We ate in the restaurant & that was very good. We found it was good value for everything that we needed for our stay.

Absolutely wonderful! We had our wedding meal here with our family and stayed over. The food was excellent! The hosts went above and beyond to make our day special. Evening atmosphere was wonderful and our room was lovely - as was breakfast. Thank you again! From Mr & Mrs Briggs! 🤩

Why only 2 stars. That's my question. The staff were welcoming and the rooms lovely and warm. Room 28 has an outside balcony, which is nice. Clean and a comfortable bed. I'd personally up there rating to 3. I'd definitely visit again.

Very nice old building full of character and charm. The place is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, and the rooms are clean and great for the price. Great location in the middle of the town, so brilliant for shopping other bars cafés coffee shops and other amenities. Brilliant place in Lincolnshire.

Booked a table for 13 people. The waitress Marija was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Meals all came out together and were fresh and delicious. Absolutely no complaints from any of us. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend. All in all great experience.

We were lost in Spalding in stumbled across this fantastic pub. The food was quite incredible - normally Sunday roast Beef is cremated to hell but this was cooked perfectly - the cauliflower cheese was to die for, and whatever those potatoes are cooked in is delicious. The service was fantastic- there was a large table before us and they warned us it might take a little longer but this wasn’t the case and the food was served very quickly. An absolute gem of a pub and I certainly will visit again when I’m up that way.

Came here for a roast dinner, which was everything I hoped. The staff were lovely. There was ample parking and it is dog friendly.

We visited the new Jashir in Spalding this evening. Although it took some time to get a table, it was definitely worth the wait! I highly recommend the Garlic and Chilli Lamb dish, and the coconut rice was also fantastic! The peshwari Naan was probably the best we've ever tasted, so we will definitely return. The service started off well, but unfortunately, it didn't end on a high note. We had to ask for the bill twice, and there was no goodbye or acknowledgment when we left the restaurant. Be aware that they include an ‘optional’ service charge, which we don't agree with as they shouldn’t assume we’ve had a great service! Excellent food though, so compliments to the chefs 👍

Fantastic service and great food. A friend and I went for dinner last night and we so impressed with the fast service. Food was great too and the house wine was nice. This is a hidden gem in spalding and I thoroughly recommend it. Reasonable prices too.
